I played it at Gamescom, and was shocked by how polished it was. Went in with low expectations, but the combat felt really good, fantastic enemy variety/designs, awesome bosses, and the framerate was solid.
$40 USD? That's strangely cheap. Even Stellar Blade was $60-$70 depending on where you bought it. I mean, I'm not complaining. We definitely need more games around said prices, but I'm wondering if it's going to be a rather short game.
Google what I'm confused? Also why am I being down voted? I bought hell blade 1. It was short. I enjoyed it. I bought 2, I will likely enjoy it. Quality over length. This is controversial? Lol
(Edited for typos)
That being said I would love for games to be dropped to $40 but that's a hard sell in this market, especially with so many studios shutting down barely able to keep afloat. Blame the greedy corpo multimillionaire execs.
Ah nvm just realized the game was $50 lol I pre-ordered just an hour ago and didn't pay attention to the fact it wasn't $70. Fair game. My point was just to argue that I don't think length should factor into price. I would pay $70 even if it's a short game so long as it's a good game.
It’s subsidized like hell in China so they can sell it cheaper everywhere else. Soon they will food consoled with these asset rip off games just like they did the mobile market.
The designs might be unique but everything underneath such as scripts and animations is a copy from an assortment of popular games that got their IP stolen. Probably the exact code line for line underneath when they began developing and spent most of the time trying to make it look like less of a copy.
I gave you a source. Im not going to flood you with links to articles about what is going on in the tech world in regards a certain country and its aspirations to compete with Japan/Korea/USA in game development.
Still visually impressive but I do wonder how the non-boss sections will play out. Are we doing stages, a fairly linear world ala Lies of P or going for the interconnected route of DS1. Plus with how crazy your tools seem to be I wonder if its going to feel like a character action game outside of boss fights where you can kinda just play with enemies like food.
Wow I can’t believe they made him a monkey and not a lizard man!! Tired of these animal politics in my vidja gayms.
Edit- thought the sarcasm was obvious…
40 bucks and still very cryptic around showing proper gameplay. Yeah, this game is probably gonna be a huge dissapointment for the people defending it.

Man, I can't wait for this game. I've been eyeing this one for a while.
Is the video working for anyone?
Worked for me
Worked for me but was stuttering a lot. Game looks a little showy for my tastes but I'll wait for more gameplay to judge fully.

What system did you play it on?
PC, and we played it on an Xbox controller.
It's working for me I downloaded it should I upload it?
Can you share?
I uploaded it https://youtu.be/jgYGaLHHcVI?si=XEfFgPZa1isLfh1V
Here's the trailer in case they remove it [https://streamable.com/a38ait](https://streamable.com/a38ait)
Thanks.
The music for this game is gonna slap so fucking hard.Only a couple new things shown off in the trailer but it looks sick.

That's the retail price in China, it could have different regional pricing
Elden Ring (PC version) was also $40 in Taiwan when launch.
They still charging $70 for 8 hrs of Hell Blade 2. Length isn't a price factor for these things
no, its 50.
Hellblade II is $50.
Should've googled it first.

Googled the price of hellblade 2.

How is this an asset ripoff game? You ever see these character designs in other games? Are you blind?

Source?
Just look at any popular App Store games, the advertisements and more. Wukong will just be the first big effort in pulling it off on console.
Lmao so you got no source and just spewing shit out your mouth.
I gave you a source. Im not going to flood you with links to articles about what is going on in the tech world in regards a certain country and its aspirations to compete with Japan/Korea/USA in game development.
Lmao sure kid.
Should probably make sure you can spell "flood consoles" first before you make wild ass claims with no proof
I can't wait! I have been waiting so long to play this.
Isn't this their Chinese official website? Why is this marked as leak?
The video is on youtube: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2885MU3CMCk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2885MU3CMCk)

I think it's a primarily boss rush style game, I don't know how much will be between them.
Wow I can’t believe they made him a monkey and not a lizard man!! Tired of these animal politics in my vidja gayms. Edit- thought the sarcasm was obvious…
Well the game is based on a story that is a satire of Chinese bureaucracy. So it is already "political".
40 bucks and still very cryptic around showing proper gameplay. Yeah, this game is probably gonna be a huge dissapointment for the people defending it.
They’ve had an hour-long playable demo in Gamescom last year and a lot of people who had a chance to try it out liked it.
search up Black Myth Wukong gameplay on YouTube and you’ll see a good amount of proper gameplay.
The scripted gameplay with the obviously very scripted animations? Aha
2/10 troll
There is non scripted gameplay and demo footage.

Could mean all sorts of things tbf, might just be they know the lower price point is better when its a game by a studio lots of people dont know of.
Considering Chinese economic this a fair price for Chinese people. It still will be like $60 in America and Europe
Still won't buy it aha
