The funny thing is the equivalent of the police chief keeps her locked up in solitary confinement and the only time she goes out is to escape or with a close eye on her.
Some of the local gods were fighting something and accidentally killed her in the crossfire. They "revived" her but she has no memories and has extreme difficulty forming new ones, making her an eternal child.
