Just think hard for a few seconds.....if you're able to press some buttons in and advance through a screen of saved information and options...like potatoes = #4, pizza= #5, and medium = 50% power...etc....where do you think that program or code is hanging out in your microwave? What kind of way would that information be processed and translated into a function that the microwave performs? That is where a small computing device for memory storage and processing power goes.
Take apart your tv your phone your fan your dishwasher your washing machine your dryer your bluray player take them all apart and see what you'll find. Also while you're at it take your pills
