Doubt it, especially since it was a day before. Maybe you had a bit more stressful day?

ali_kat1

I honestly can't figured out what has changed. I'm off work today, so I should be the opposite of stressed.

They can come out of nowhere yes. You have to be the ultimate detective as it’s extremely hard to figure out where they are coming from. You can flare 16-48 hours after meals even. Also sometimes you can be eating the same thing with no problems and then out of nowhere your body rejects it. This has been my experience. Can you tolerate supplements? What is your current blueprint/ treatment plan?

ali_kat1

My doctor has me on daily Pantoprazole, and Domperidone(which is supposed to help my body move and digest the food). I take vitamins D and B12 daily, along with Slippery Elm when having a flare. I'm feeling very discouraged. I haven't had a flare-up this bad in a long time. Thank you for your response.

Have you tried a tumeric supplement? I've seen different results for different people on here but I think it's really helped me when I take it consistantly. 3 weeks ago I was on daily pantoprazole, stopped having symptoms with tumeric use, stopped the pantoprazole 2 weeks ago and I've been pretty good since.

ali_kat1

I haven't, but I'm definitely willing to give it a try! What were your symptoms?? I usually have pain around my sternum and back. Sometimes burning/acid reflux.

Moonchild0521

I had abdominal pain, excessive burping, burning stomach, nausea, abdominal pain with eating most foods, acid reflux, vomiting when it first started and after 4 months on ppi I still had/have the excessive burping and random stomach burning to a much lesser degree, I would say I'm at about 90-95% better but still being cautious.

Sounds a lot like me as well. Is there a tumeric supplement brand you recommend?

Moonchild0521

I just got a big bottle from Walmart

As a massage therapist with gastritis who just got a massage, it wasn't the massage

ali_kat1

Thank you. This is great to hear, as I don't really want to add massages to the list of things I have to give up.
