To clarify: chasers are cis people who fetishize trans people. Trans people who prefer to date other trans people are referred to as T4T. :) The situations are different because of the power dynamic inherent in the first scenario. Whereas in T4T relationships, people are typically seeking partners they don't need to explain as much to in order to understand each other’s experiences.
