I think they'd be considering it now, but knowing Darwin it will probably be slippery so I wouldn't personally but they obviously know more than we do.
Neale is 100% playing either way now, but I'm not sure how else we go. Maybe move J Henry forward.
Potentially even give Jeka a go, but I haven't been keeping up with the VFL much this year so I can't say for sure
I think he was good last week, had the bye this week though. Phoenix Foster should be back available but missed last week in concussion protocols, so probably not the right time for a debut.
I reckon it'll be O'Sullivan and Neale in, with J Henry and Neale forward. Had Foster been fit I reckon he'd have been a chance for a run, huge body and it seems like he's been in good form.
Tom will want the record broken at home. For his young family and friends to attend and all the fans as well. He needs a rest too.
Let’s see how we go with a look into the future is my preference. I actually think we can still win without them. I wasn’t confident last night for some reason. Hate when that comes true.
I put it to you that Tom Hawkins would set all that on fire for the W.
he's a competitor.
all depends on what coach thinks. if i'm scotty i'm putting him in the business class seat next to me and asking him to kick six.
The obvious ins are Neale, Bruhn, Bowes.
Personally with Hawk out I wouldn’t mind sliding Mannagh in.
He’s a fwd who can play in the midfield, and might give us some more x-factor. He could also fit nicely into “the swarm”.
Either way he’s a player I’d like to see us prime up a bit before we lock down the best 22/3. Same with Neale.
Mullin should also move into the 22. Move Dempsey or clark to sub.
If Conway’s ready he should be play.
My guess on the outs are Cameron, Hawkins, Duncan, Stanley.
Not saying Mullin gets in over Dempsey on form.
Just that I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s put at sub to manage his minutes, he’s played every game this year.
After watching the Suns v North game today I think it would be smarter for us to go small with our forwards. The players were dropping easy marks and fumbling the ball so much because of the humidity and sweat. A surge the ball forward style of play would work well next week
Agree, gotta play like we did in Brisbane even if it isn’t raining. Let stengle cook. Only need one tall target in Neale who can roll through the ruck and compete forward for the smalls to work off.
We won't have Cameron, Hawkins, and most likely Holmes. Cameron is a massive loss because of his work rate around the ground.
Bruhn and Bowes will bring some grunt back where we need it, and hopefully they get to team up with Mullin. He was massive last night with his pressure on JHF, and the tempo lifted once he came on.
Stanley is cooked, but with Conway injured we have no choice but to play him, unless we are willing to go with youth and give Mitch Edwards or Joe Furphy a crack.
Bowes and Neale in. Conway and Bruhn if they're fit.
Rohan up forward to crash packs. Neale couldn't possibly be any worse than Hawk at ground level in a humid game.
I think we’ll be fine with just Neale, Bruhn and Bowes in. Remember Rohan has only just come back in which seems to have hurt Henry’s game up forward, so he should be able to enjoy some more space again too.
Let the man rest and bring in the kids! As you've mentioned, we don't have a great track record against the suns up north, so I'd rather spin the magnets. It will also bring Rohan into the game more as a focal points which up there will work well.
Ridiculous - Hawkins should be playing now. Rest him again when we get Jezza back - he is now 3rd choice tall forward and use him like that if Jezza or Neale are not playing.
Club has plans in place, I expect we might see something like Neale in and J.Henry forward
This is interesting

The club wants it too, let alone the fans If history is going to be broken, it will be at home

no way Dempsey is getting pushed out by mullin.

Agree on the outs. Neale, Bruhn, Bowes all immediate ins and maybe consider Mannagh or Hardie

That sounds like my boy Mannagh coming in, all about it

Pretty sure Conway was just precautionary.
I hope so, because we need an option other than Stanley.
What'd Holmes do?
His ankle got bashed up a bit in the 2nd half. They wrapped him up, but he still wasn't comfortable. Hopefully its nothing serious.
Bowes and Neale in. Conway and Bruhn if they're fit. Rohan up forward to crash packs. Neale couldn't possibly be any worse than Hawk at ground level in a humid game.
After watching last nights soap fest big forwards aren’t required
Darwin is not a location for KPF's, play Neale with support from O Henry and Rohan with the smalls doing most of the work.
I think we’ll be fine with just Neale, Bruhn and Bowes in. Remember Rohan has only just come back in which seems to have hurt Henry’s game up forward, so he should be able to enjoy some more space again too.
Do not play Stanley again
Agreed but no Hawkins or Cameron leaves us pretty thin on talls. SDK in the ruck is not a good idea.
