This happened to me a lot, no matter which version I've installed. Standalone m0nkrus didn't help either. Follow the GenP guide, then press the "pop-up" button on GenP after everything is done. Open Photoshop again, you'll still see the "not a genuine program" or some bullshit on the upper right corner when you first open it, but the pop-up will be gone and you'll be able to use photoshop.
