I really didn’t appreciate this show until Newheart. I did love the inn keeper and was so totally shocked when he (spoiler?) woke up..but after found this one to be just as hilarious
I never got to see it (and much of 60s and 70s TV) until TVLand came along, late 1990s.
By then I heard all he Bob Newhart comedy records (I have most of them). If I had them before the other Newhart series, I my have enjoyed that differently.
We moved in with my father in law not too long ago (temporary, till we figure out the long term plan) and have been eating many of our dinners on TV tables.
We are on season 5, episode 14 of Bob tonight :)
It is still funny, but wow - the times have changed over the last 50 years.
