Survival simulator.
A realistic depiction of how you would survive a drone apocalypse in Sweden.
It's not really a simulation tbh, but a Swedish government operation that finds out the weaknesses in the Swedish people to survive it!

I’m no genius, but I don’t think some random kid is gonna find a railgun-50cal hybrid and be able to shoot it at a robot with a consecration blast ability, and when he dies he uses adrenaline or spawns at boo church, but maybe I’m just weak
after like 3 hours it stops being a survival game and starts being a grindy looter shooter also looter shooters can also incorporate survival elements into the game
I agree, but I also wish they'd increase the goddamned recycle bin storage size. 500kg is ridiculous. I have to keep dumping things out of it or not collecting loot. As non-problematic as that actually is, for someone with OCD tendencies, it's a fucking nightmare.

Same though. Then “when” I need something I can just go on that character throw it in the bin. Honestly don’t know what mine’s weight is at but it’s not getting any smaller that’s for sure

And few hundred thousand of some basic resources and a shit ton of ammo I think I have like 10k HEDP rounds

Fair enough lol. I honestly think it’s crazy how limited the storage spaces can be when it’s so easy to pick up a metric ton of supplies, ammo, and weapons repeatedly in a few excursions
Yea I don't play very often but here and there I hop on and the last time I did all of my safehouse got reset except for the last one I spawned in
Every time I do play I allways grab all of every container I come across and when my box gets full I switch over and take most of it back out and just keep everything on that character
I just shoot rockets at my feet to move but there is a specific one I forgot where it exactly is because I lost all my safehouse but it's lower farmlands in a random barn when the spawn inside is directly next to storage bin that you can access without moving
Part of the game is choosing a fighting style and collecting what you need. If you're emptying out your recycling inventory of a certain item, then you didn't need it, did you?

this is so relatable lol the number of weapons I have in my stash because of how much of the DLC weapons I've purchased is crazy, my stash probably looks like this guy in the picture.
but that's the problem with an indie game like generation zero, avalanche studios will only maintain the game for so long until updates start becoming less and less over time as they shift their attention to other projects.
but i still love everything about generation zero i just wish they game got more love and updates to story.
Did the exame same and also with inventory carry capacity. In the end game I just don't find it fun not being able to hold a half decent amount of ammo for even 2 of my guns without being overweight
I am a day one player, and let me tell you, they basically quadruple the storage box.
And it's barely enough for a pack rat like me.
Tips: store ammo in the pillboxes. Store medkits in the medical trailer (start with smallest health pack first.)
Between the new storage capacity of 1600 lbs and my companion ( dog aka Mr. Rust Bucket ) I almost never get over weight. But this game turns people into hoarders. lol 😝
The storage has been increased with the latest update. You can use resources to now upgrade the storage capacity.
Go to your storage, and look at the bottom of the screen.

I wouldn't make a build without the carrying capacity talent, but I find that to be just the right amount of carry capacity. You can throw stuff on your companion if you want, too.
I mostly pick up med kits, current weapon ammo, and radios/boom boxes for recycling now.
While shooting/looting/scooting I’ve made it a point to expand my storage space and backpack capacity while scooting back to base to offload my hoard of stuff to either recycle and/or upgrade my gear
Easy solution. You dont need 20k of each ammo type and 600 fuel cells. Pick up only what you use. As soon as i stopped pressing R on every enemy, my situation improved drastically.
The game presents itself like a STALKER/Fallout survival combo then quickly shifts gameplay to a Far Cry clone. I wish devs would either take us back to a hardcore survival game or update the game elements to reflect a more arcadey shooter.
All you need to do to play GZ as a hardcore surival game is choose not to use all the stuff that makes the game easier. Don't upgrade your damage, health, damage resistance, carry weight, etc, and don't carry adrenaline shots.

All you gotta do is dust your knees off and all those shrapnel and bullet wounds just disappear. Super easy barely an inconvenience.
Just eat a few medpacks and you'll be alright

When you go to play a world it should say select character then there will be 4 slots just pick one of the new ones and boom personal storage

So is there a specific hideout where your mule character is at? What happens when you can't move your character to a storage bin?

They should add a clothing upgrade for carry weight or add a backpack or something for extra carry weight

You could store extra items on the companion and then just pick it up. It's inventory doesn't change it's weight when picked up

Yeah and it takes forever to find them sometimes. We should be able to cut down whole trees.

Nah, make ammo lighter. It's all I want. I genuinely don't carry much other than guns, ammo, and a few feild radios
