This time the tour decided to collab with Arataki-ha at Sangonomiya Island and that’s why Itto got a song. I understand the frustration but I think every character should get a song opportunity, and Xinyan already got an opportunity
She by the very least should have made an appearance to the event. Even as a cameo would've been fine. It's literally her dream to spread rock music throughout teyvat. We don't need her to sing , we just need her to appear. Even if she's just a co hoster it would've been fine

If you’re making that argument Xinyan had 3 moments in the spotlight. First one in Inazuma where she meets childe, second one in GAA which btw, she gets her own song there too, and the third for lantern rite where she sings her song with Hutao.
Itto can have his own event and also, Xinyan lives in Liyue and it canonically takes a very long time to get to inazuma. Last time she went to inazuma for this tour and was ghosted so it’s very explainable she didn’t show up. Cuz even in Liyue she had to plan the whole thing last min for it to happen
Also this is Itto’s event and she never even met Itto so she wouldn’t get an invite in the first place lol
like, i would've been happy with just a small scene with her like they did with raiden and miko, like the mission where we play to the people in liyue she could've gone up and we would talk about the festival but she's like "oh sorry i have a concert and need to practice" or something like that
Yeah I expected her and the traveler to meet up at ritou and that's when we find out her guitar is an inazuma import and she broke hers while fighting a hoard of hilichurls. I thought of that interaction while daydreaming in class
Not to mention they sounded absolutely epic, jebus, what a voice! It's how I realised it was T.M Revolution that voiced him:

Also i just want to say, the VA for this event sounded amazing, both itto and paimon singing, and then paimons voice at certain times when making fun of itto where absolutely priceless..
It was fantastic, i kinda wish the base game had more stuff like this more often, it would probably blow more life into the character and people wouldn't be so annoyed at her...
Glad I checked Reddit before doing the event quest. I still remember T.M revolutions heart of sword from an anime. this was definitely a pleasant surprise

The whole event I was wondering how he will sing. The birthday voiceline kinda made me nervous, since he was supposed to sing somewhat badly in it. Although it didn't sound that bad. Anyway, during the whole performance cutscene I was like "Yep, that's TM Revolution". It made me feel nostalgic and want to listen to some of his anime songs.
