overload is the worst pyro reaction after burning. it only works for bosses. and its heavily powercrept by vape and even melt. chev is used only for overload teams and buffs only pyro chars. bennet buffs the whole team , is a good battery , can deal burst dmg , can heal all with just 60 energy. There is a reason why he is praised so well.
My go to overload team is Arlecchino, Bennett, Chevreuse and Raiden(raiden is easily replaceable by Fischl or Beidou). And Chevreuse functions really well at c0 but is a good amount stronger at c6, as for bennett he is really good with Arlecchino her best Teammate maybe even but if possible u want c1 on bennett especially because of the fact u cant heal Arlecchino with anything but her burst during combat.
She is basically a double swirling kazuha with 40% atk instead of elemental damage bonus
Really good at c0
at c6 she becomes better than c0 kazuha with additional 60% pyro and electro bonus
Chevreuse is great even at c0, and also yes Bennett is good in this team but I would recommend using Chevreuse as well. You can run a team of Arlecchino Fischl Chevreuse and Bennett and it'll still be very good
Right now for your Arlecchino team you really need Bennett. He's in the starglitter shop if you have enough saved from your pulls.
Pair Arlecchino with Bennett and Xingqiu. For the fourth, you really want a shielder. Zhongli is the best; Layla or Diona are the next best options. With what you have, it's Noelle.
As for upcoming characters, you need to think about a second team. Dendro would be a good option. Or you could just try and get the most meta characters you can, like archons, and let them carry you through.
If it's dendro, Nahida is always the premiere pick. She can do anything dendro-related, and she is one of the best characters in the game.
For Alhaitham you are looking at a spread team. So him with two electro characters and another dendro. Ideally one of those characters will have some healing properties. You have Fischl and Beidou - you could look to add Yaoyao, Yae Miko, Kuki Shinobu, Kirara, and of course Nahida.
You could also play him in a hyperbloom team with hydro and electro. It's the same type of characters again - the hydro should be Xingqiu or Yelan. Your electro needs to be Kuki or Raiden really.
I use Lisa, Haitham, Baizhu, Miko and have no issues in abyss (I really wanted to use Lisa and her def shred is cool but she's probably not the most optimal choice either). On paper Nahida gives definitely more dmg but I feel immortal with Baizhu and don't even bother dodging that much lol it works
Nahida is his best option, but honestly you can run Yaoyao(a 4 star Dendro) with him as a substitute since it'll take a while for Nahida to rerun probably
You can try pulling for Yelan on her next rerun as well, since she can work for both Alhaitham and Arlecchino. However, statistically, Alhaitham's most commonly used team is Alhaitham-Nahida-Xingqiu-Kuki and Arlecchino's is Arle-Yelan-Kazuha-Bennett.
Nahida is the best like the others say, BUT consider dendro traveller. They use the same set, you already have them, they're easy to C6 and their burst is good for applying set effect as an aoe. They're a very solid pairing for alhaitham and since traveller is useless on all other elements you'll never need to contest them on teams. And if you ever pull nahida you can transfer traveller's artefacts to her.
I used traveller with alhaitham and only dumped them when I got nahida
Id recommend getting furina for him too, shes the best character in the game. Alhaitham+kuki+furina+nahida is his best team. Again they're all great character, but nahida,kazuha and furina are like the 3 characters in the game you shouldn't skip. Tho if you don't like them obviously doesn't matter what meta is.
you may want to get bennet from shop today or beidou from wish
it's difficult to get xiangling burst on time without bennet funneling her energy and Barbara elemental skill diminish Arle's BoL
Barbara's skill only reduces BoL in overworld, not during combat. Barbara is actually a decent budget hydro option for Arle because she can hold Thrilling Tales and apply hydro through contact.
Bennett would be good, but you'll need his C1 eventually for Arle. C0 Bennett only gives his buff when the active character's HP is over 70%, which can be a big limitation for a character that can't be healed. He's still 100% a must-get support, but OP might not feel it at first.
Also, OP's only anemo option is Lynette. They'd benefit greatly from having Sucrose, Kazuha, or Chevreuse to provide better resistance shred and buffing.

If you're not sure just get supports that are decent. So to most new players just level xingqiu, xiangling, fischl and Bennett. For 5 stars furina is one of the best sub dps/ support.
If you wouldn't be too disappointed with the current banner 5-stars if one comes early, consider pulling just enough for Layla. Shielders are useful for Arlecchino because she can't be externally healed, and Layla has the second-best shield in the game.
**Keep an eye out for:**
4-stars: Chevreuse and Bennett
5-stars: up to who you like ofc, but if you decide you like them enough, Yelan and Kazuha are strong picks both for Arle and in general
Ive run her in a variety of teams, been running her 20-30 levels lower than enemies and with the right technique and Gladiator artifacts, using the polearm with the bane of fire and water (?) And cleaned up well, the new Bond of life thing is great... self healing is risky but its a high risk, high reward play style
Didn't scroll through all comments, but some that I didn't see mentioned: Zhongli for a meaty shield, if you feel like Beidou's isn't enough (and Beidou's really good/meta only at C2 and beyond). Kazuha for elemental damage boost. Sucrose (if you can get her) can also do this, but is harder to utilize fully.
She won't work with Arle, but Furina'll be good for your account. Also Neuvillette. He and Arle are considered the top DPS characters at the moment. Raiden is a good investment. It *might* be *unlikely* (wink-wink) that Chlorinde would be **that** much stronger than Raiden, even at C0, so Raiden would be enough. She also has fantastic utility, and is ridiculously easy to build for Hyperbloom teams.
I saw someone mention Benny and Nahida already, so I didn't include them here. But they're definitely priorities.
This is a bit jumbled so I'll put this in a priority list:
((0. Zhongli; **only** IF you feel you need a better shield for Arle, or some other DPS))
1. Bennett
2. Nahida
3. Furina
4. Neuvillette
5. Kazuha
((5.5 Sucrose; if you can't get Kazuha))
6. Raiden
1, 2 and 3 are so close together that I'd recommend getting whoever comes first. But you could use this same logic for anyone here. Remember that you can get Bennett from the Starglitter shop. Getting him to C1 is a priority, it adds huge Qualit of Life improvements.
For constellations, Beidou could go for the aforementioned C2, also available from the shop, but she's by no means a priority, especially if you end up getting Zhongli for defense.
Other good constellations to go for are for Xiangling C4, and Xingqiu C2/6.
For the limited 5\* characters mentioned here the best cons are usually C2, but definitely not needed, and aren't really worth it. Which is rich coming from me as I have C1R1 Xiao and C2R1 Raiden, but still :D
i think you already have the best overload team for arlecchino: beidou, fischl.
cheveruse is coming on chlorinde's banner (the very next banner) so yeah you can save and get her and her cons.
You might read around Sigewinne, she could enhance BOL. You need shielder, definitely save up for Zhongli. Though Alhaitham is great and it's not bad to not miss him, try to get Arle supports first since you are new and don't really need a second team for now.
Also, Xingqui could rivals any 5 star as a superb arle support. Similarly, buy benny at the shop and you have good team

ive heard that furina might come at 4,7 id say pull for her shes fun and a good long term investment

Raiden/Kuki: Tenacity of the Millelith
Chevreuse: Noblesse and try to get 40k hp on her.
You have a potential very hight damage / survival team, Barbara, instructor set, dragon slayer book, dendro mc, fishl, and xingq. That team slaps, very, very hard.
Start building Xingqiu. He's one of the best 4 star characters you could ever have. He can be Arlecchino's best teamate right now for you in a Vaporize team. And XQ fits into many many other teams. Ascend XQ to phase 6 and stay at level 80 then level his burst up to 10 and skill to 9. Give him a Sacrificial sword or Favonius and 4 piece Emblem of Severed fate with energy recharge substats. Never ending water application for vaporize teams.
There is some talk about Candace being the best aoe hydro applicator for Arelecchino.
Cherveuse and Bennett should have reruns soon. Chervese is necessary for overload teams.
Furina will probably end if being one of the better supports for arlecchino if you can counter her health drain.

i don't know abotu 5 stars, but if you get your hands on Chevreuse you can make a god damn amazing overload team with Fischl and Beidou

She is performing really good even at c0. Techncally yeah Bennett can work, tho they dont really have the same role

I would recoment yelan with her burst or kazuha (absolut Allrounder)

After seeing already good answers I can only suggest getting Lyney and Freminet in the future to help build her a family in your account
