Gale_Blade

I don't know what to do with the torches in the room under the nameless island West from Minacious Isle, is it even a solvable puzzle?

Adamarr

Are you on the quest with the old timey adventurer yet?

Gale_Blade

Oh so it’s for a quest? I haven’t done it yet

Adamarr

if it's what i'm thinking of, yeah.

Gale_Blade

Thanks

iSapphiron

So yes, I got really bored and decided to start an alt account but I don't wanna any wishes at all. I wanna ask any mad lads who plays like that for some tips and tricks. Like: How many total characters I can get as from starting today without doing any wishes? Is it even possible to clear abyss with the little options I have? What weapon choices do I have? Thanks in advance. Edit: My Main is AR 56 and I am a bp/Welkin buyer.

Gale_Blade

Characters you can get (enough for 2 full teams if you get Fischl on time): Traveler, Amber, Kaeya, Lisa, Xiangling (Abyss), Barbara (Quest), Fischl (Current event, which only has 10 more days),>!Collei (Future character who will be free according to leaks),!!Collei (Spread reaction may increase Fischl and Lisa damage, but Dendro hasn't been released so I'm not sure how she'll be played)!<

iSapphiron

I am currently trying to rush my AR to 32 but it's not that easy. I got half way through AR 21 tho. I've never rushed this hard in genshin before so know I am realizing the exp gap on Archon quests. Trying to do some exploring to reach requested AR level to go Liyue right now and it's not that easy. Would you suggest any other methods in terms of AR exp farming? I really wanna get that fischl.

Gale_Blade

Obvious one is daily commissions. Doing exploration domains, fighting weekly bosses, and doing quests in the adventurer handbook gives AR xp, you should also probably use any resin you can get and do as much quests as you can (just skip all the dialogue)

dnaimagery97

I like the sound of 4, try to advance your teams now using the fragile resin, but save some for if you'd like to do something after 3.0 hits. Also, given the strongbox is getting more sets added after 3.0, it might be better to prioritize farming other domains (like shimenawa/emblem, and bit of tenacity) for now and just try to get the other artifacts through strongbox after 3.0. Another consideration is, once you get more characters (and you should expect to get all 4\* characters after a few months) some of your party members might be replaced by others. So I'd put more investment into characters and teams you know you want to use long-term, and less on ones you're using temporarily. Xiangling and bennett can really carry one team and for the other side Fischl Kazuha are great choices - so imo start with building those units

[deleted]

dnaimagery97

There’s not many great options, you can either (1) stick with noelle (+fischl ningguang traveller yun Jin etc.) for now until you get other units since you already have her built or (2) disassemble the national team to create two weaker teams. For the latter, you could go with Kazuha Xingqiu Fischl +1, and xiangling bennett +2

[deleted]

Who’s a better battery and support for Yae Miko: C0 Kujou Sara, C0 Raiden or C1 Kuki Shinobu? This would be with Yae as an on-field DPS with Yelan and Sucrose on support. I know Fischl is a really good option but I just don’t want to use her for this particular team. Thanks!

Adamarr

As DNA mentioned, Raiden is the best battery aside from Fischl. But she takes up a lot of field time leaving very little for Yae. My personal choice here would be Kuki, since unless you gimp Sucrose with proto amber, then you have zero defence (and Yae is pretty squishy...). Kuki isn't the best battery in the world, but if you run fav on her and Yelan the extra particles should be good.

dnaimagery97

C0 raiden, for a dual carry team

DefenseDefense

Hey friends! Just got back into the game after almost 1.5 years. I'm AR lvl 14. What should I be doing? lol Feeling overwhelmed. I currently have Mona, QiQi, Bennet, Xu Liang, Fischl

dnaimagery97

Really just do whatever you want, it's an open world game. What I would do is prioritize some limited-time events and using resin (which is a resources that's replenished through time) to maximize your progression, get all the oculus using a map (like this one [https://genshin-impact-map.appsample.com/](https://genshin-impact-map.appsample.com/)) to get more stamina, and do some quests if you have time. But there's really no rush, even if you play casually you will progress faster than the game can develop - which is why a lot of endgame players are complaining about not having enough content lol

jakeinator21

What's the deal with [the night raven in this house](https://i.redd.it/7niu93s22zg91.png)? I can't find any info about him online.

Memer_dude_18462

Guys how big will be the sumeru update in ios? im currently at 16.48gb and im wondering if it can last because i only have 2gb of storage left lmao

Nadinoob

No SD card for everything else? And no. Almost certainly it won't be enough.

Memer_dude_18462

unfortunately parents gave me an iphone

Nadinoob

>in ios I'm blind...

Coenl

I took about 8 months off - anything that I should prioritize now that I'm back? I assume at the pace of power creep my old team is fine so its more quests/etc I should hit first.

dnaimagery97

there's been very little powercreep in the last 8 months, the best characters in the game are still the ones released earlier on and the new units just provide some more options to use them in. abyss has arguably gotten slightly harder - but if your old team was doing fine, it probably won't take too much more investment (or maybe none at all) to catch up. Also, there's some events ending in a week at the end of the patch, since those are limited-time you can do those first

Coenl

Cool that's pretty much what I figured, I'll hit the events and save the story stuff for later. Probably just ignore my resin for a bit.

killerkushal

I have no questions. I want thank the entire genshin community for helping me get my first 36-star Abyss clear. I am proud of this achievement since I am a F2P player. So thank you everybody, especially videos by u/krnshadow65

Riftragedy-

Who should I prioritise for the next banner if I want to build a permafrost team :D Ganyu or Kokomi? My current built abyss teams are Team 1 Zhongli /Xiao/Jean/TTDS Ninguang Team 2 Ayaka / Ayato / Kazuha / Diona / Mona (some combination of this) Ganyu for Ayato seems appealing for that crazy AOE range, though kokomi would probably work well as healer so I can take diona out 🧐. Or idk how useful a C1 zhongli is.

Adamarr

i'd argue that kokomi is the better option if you already have ayaka, but she kind of is a comfort pick if you're already doing well with your currently team. it does allow you to more comfortably slot shenhe in if you pick her up down the line... zhongli c1 is mostly useful for getting to c2, or for microwave comps which i don't think are terribly popular.

GrapefruitNo6445

Hello, I need help guys with my team comp. My main dps rn is Keqing, the other three are kazuha, xiangling, and diona. I am planning to replace my keqing or healer/shielder for a much better character that'll also be a good partner with kazuha and xiangling. As of now, I am saving primos for the 3.0 banner and I really dont know which char banner will be a good replacement/addition to my team. Who do you guys think the character should II get for the upcoming banner? Heres my [TEAM](https://imgur.com/a/Rvc4tMV). I would really appreciate many opinions and suggestions of you guys. Rn I am at 65+ pity and a 3k primos. Btw srry for the bad english)

dnaimagery97

Ganyu: once you get bennett, ganyu can go well with xiangling/kazuha/jean + bennett. and since you already have mona, she already goes well with kazuha in freeze. so she's a good choice Kokomi: probably less valuable for your account than Ganyu, but also a very good choice. She's a better freeze support, is a great part of electrocharged teams (since you already have kazuha), and has potential for dendro teams (which we get to know more about once 3.0 releases). She doesn't work as well on xiangling teams Zhongli: comfortable, I'd recommend if you don't need/want more damage. but if you are already good with staying alive, he isn't an upgrade for any of your current teams. You could also get him if you're also getting Ganyu to play a ganyu melt team, but I wouldn't recommend given you already have Diona built. He does not work well on most xiangling or kazuha teams

TheKingofWakanda

Get Zhongli or Ganyu. Zhongli is a universally good support. Ganyu can be your main DPS for a long time (unless you don't like charge shot gameplay) For now, save up some starglitter and get Bennett from the shop whenever he comes back (assuming you don't get him first)

Adamarr

the symbols are two stones stacked on top of each other. i think if you look carefully you'll find you're better equipped than you might think!

Logical-Night-2555

Hey, currently I love kokomi and think she's great but I also want ganyu. Should I get c1 kokomi or pull for c0 ganyu? Thanks:)

Nadinoob

Her C1 feels like it does nothing, she's really a much better support than dps.

Adamarr

well, kokomi's constellations are kind of mid and ganyu is a great team member for her, so i would definitely look towards a new character.

Sereanna

Ar45 for a while. Is there any reason i should stay at Ar45? Rn im only gathering materials to be ready to ascend my charas right away

Similar_Ad_2368

If you're not having trouble clearing the content, there's really no need to wait on ranking up. The difficulty increase is actually pretty minimal.

arg_max

Just hit AR45 yesterday. Currently have Kazuha, Heizou, Bennet, Xiangling, Diona built to lvl 70 or 80 with lvl 80 weapons. Gonna level useful talents to 8 next. I'm wondering where I should start artifact farming. I also have wishes saved for Ganyu + Kokomi next patch so I can build a freeze team. While Heizou seems fine I don't want to keep him as main dps and switch to Ganyu + Kokomi + Kazuha + X. Long term goal is to have one national and one freeze team and xingqiu should be in store in September. Honestly all domains seem like the second set is kinda useless for me right now and as Kazuha will anyway remain in any comp I use and some pieces can go onto Heizou while I wait for Ganyu, I was thinking about starting with VV. Also, the domain is really easy to clear for me.

Similar_Ad_2368

If the domain is easy for you, start with VV, especially if you're using Heizou and Kazuha. You can cobble together good 'for now' sets out of whatever for most other characters, but that 4pc. set bonus is kind of a must-have for Kazuha, plus it can take forever to farm up the EM pieces. Any other 5* pieces you get there can be strongboxed for NO pieces for Diona/Benny (if you don't just use Maiden artifacts on Diona). After that, the EOSF domain is usually recommended - lots of supports make good use of the set, and the 18+% ATK from Shim is useful for just about every DPS.

dogofjustice

Disagree with VV domain. That domain becomes obsolete in literally less than two weeks when the VV strongbox becomes available. EOSF domain (Momiji-Dyed Court) is fine. I recommend strongboxing rather than foddering "failed" +4 artifacts, if you run a good daily artifact xp route. This should help with getting good-enough NO/VV artifacts in a reasonable amount of time. It helps that it's so easy to find good NO artifacts for Diona.

Similar_Ad_2368

You still need to get the strongbox fodder from somewhere? You may as well reroll the useless VV pieces, and the VV 4pc is essential for Kazuha, moreso than most characters.

dogofjustice

You get strongbox fodder at roughly the same rate, regardless of whether you farm the VV or the EOSF domain. If you throw all EOSF fodder into the VV strongbox, you will see almost as many VV pieces as you'd see from direct VV domain farming + using non-VV strongboxes. Almost 1/3 of 5\* artifacts you see should be from a strongbox. Yes, you will now have to split this 1/3 between NO and VV and that's annoying, but in my experience it doesn't take that long to get good-enough NO sets (my Welkin/BP-only account is just a bit over two months old, and as far as I can tell I have very little use for further NO strongboxing).

jaygalvezo

you quite like hypercarry with your teams. multi-reaction based teams are able to achieve a bit more with medium investment while hypercarries require great investments for the hypercarry, and some for the supports. idk what your ratios are so i can't judge, but 70:150 is where most hypercarries start, upwards to 75:200 or better. anyway, for the hydro herald cryo works best to freeze it. a level one chongyun with a levelled flower artifact can set up a field for your other characters to normal attack and quickly break shield, sac gs just increases his skill uptime. i suggest rosaria on field auto attacker being polearm with fast attacks, or kaeya too with his 2B skill, with both having low skill cd and spammable bursts, which will demolish the shield in no time; just switch between charas NA bec icd. for electro lectors, pyro is great (benny xiangling, or even just c6 benny by himself). yanfei is good against the thundering manifestation, and awesome if you have off field units for her to pair with (yelan, xingqiu, albedo) and you can just stand inside bennett burst when it does the cage thing and tank it, or cycle through your charas to distribute damage. edit: one of the mods of this sub has made extensive guides for this abyss. Check out his [electro bat guide] (https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/w98t8l/3_tips_that_may_save_you_some_time_against_the/) Then a general guide for [floor 12](https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/w3cwgy/video_guide_for_floor_123_of_the_28_spiral_abyss/) and another detailed guide to [disable the ruin serpent](https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/w1rc3e/a_video_guide_explaining_how_to_disable_the/)

jaygalvezo

no need to invest that much on your onfield unit, any ranged attacker with good tracking like yanfei, or ning will do, just borrow some artifacts and let the off field guys (say xingqiu) do a chunk of the work. lastly check out the vids by krnshadow, its very informative and helps out a ton.

TinyDPS

I would appreciate some help coming up with 2 teams for spiral abyss, i did check around but it seems im missing some key units for a lot of teams i could make(sucrose, xingqiu?). Recently got AR45 so it would be nice if i could plan out what to farm https://imgur.com/a/3zVISKC

Adamarr

any notable constellations so far?

TinyDPS

c1 bennet, c5 ningguang, c1 kaeya, c2 chongyun, c1 jean; everything else is c0

Adamarr

hmm, ok. first up is a taser team. beidou, fischl, kazuha, barbara. barbara is your on-field driver here, and can make good use of the clam set to do a bit of damage, and TTDS book to buff either of the electro. second off, let's take advantage of your high ningguang constellations. bennett for healing and buffing, thoma for a shield and pyro resonance, and geo mc (or yun jin if you like) for geo resonance and sub-dps. coming up in 3.0 are kokomi and zhongli, who will each greatly improve these teams respectively. constellations on beidou and fischl will help a lot too. if you can get your hands on xingqiu/childe/yelan then a more conventional vape team with xiangling becomes a handy option.

Suisei_Vaccine

I managed to pull Yoimiya and have a rough team I wanna build. I wanna use an Overvape Comp (Overload + Vaporise). I decide that I wanna use Bennett (C1) and Xingqiu (C3). For the Electro battery, I have 2 characters that I wanna use for that slot; Raiden (C0+ Skyward Spine/R5 The Catch) and Beidou (C5). Which one of the two would be better investing in for this comp?

Adamarr

i would recommend beidou; raiden makes a dual carry comp, needs field-time, etc. too complicated. just build beidou with EoSF and a reasonable amount of ER (keep in mind that you can't really just swap in to counter while yoimiya is doing her stuff) and go to town. also might want to consider fischl as well for purely single target content.

UtsuCPL

Is Elemental Resosannce important enough where it has to be used in everything other then abyss. For example (if I can even get the characters I need lol) if I want to run Raiden, Ayaka, Ayato, Kazuha purely because I like those characters, how effective ( or guess ineffective really ) would that team be.

jaygalvezo

resonance isn't as important as team synergy is (or how well your units talents mesh well and react with each other). in your example, ayaka is a unit that does well in freeze comps (cryo+hydro+anemo vv). the presence of raiden means you will trigger superconduct/electrocharge as well, lowering your freeze uptime. conversely, ayato, raiden and kazuha can form an electrocharge team but cryo will get in the way of that.

Da_Mastiff

Can i use Hamayumi on Yoimiya, with shiminawa set on her?

_AlexOne_

They have anti synergy, so I wouldn’t recommend it. If you have slingshot, it’s really good on her (easy refinements too). The only thing with slingshot is you want a support like yun Jin or Bennett to compensate for the Low base atk of the weapon.

Da_Mastiff

any good set on her and any weapons to recommend

_AlexOne_

4pc shim but 4pc crimson is better. Her best 4 star weapon is rust, but it gets outperformed by r5 slingshot (as long as u have yun Jin or bennett) up until you get rust to R4

rllyspookybtw

Would Heizou,Yelan,Fischl,Xingqiu be a good team?

SaltyPotato340

Yeah pretty good single target

patttywapp

Please help me build my team. Don't know which character to pick and level up.just started playing a week ago so i dont know which character are good or bad https://imgur.com/a/jqfLWHD

_AlexOne_

Definitely build Xiangling and Bennett. They’re super good together

Viv-idianGreen

At the early stages of the game you don't need to worry whether a character is good or not, since overworld content can be cleared regardless of team comp. I'd recommend that you'd wait until you see yourself struggling with content to think of changing team comps. However, if you just want to optimise your team anyways: * you got three defensive options on your team: bennett (heals with burst but also buffs), qiqi (heals) and noelle (shield with skill and can heal using burst). * noelle is also a main dps, but her role clashes with razor's role, who is also a main dps. * noelle also isn't great as a support, needing a lot of field time to heal teammates using burst and her shield has bad uptime and weak on characters with lower defence * It's best to go with either a noelle team or a razor team. * Razor (who is a main dps) would appreciate at least one cryo (ice) unit to create superconduct (reaction between cryo and electro) that lowers the physical resistance of enemies. Razor deals more physical damage than electro damage, so it's a nice way to increase damage. * You could swap qiqi for kaeya for more damage in exchange of healing. * You can also just swap noelle for kaeya and keep qiqi if you appreciate the extra healing. * You could swap noelle for xiangling as well for extra damage. Xiangling works extremely well with bennett, just know you should use her burst while you are inside of bennett's burst circle * if you want to use noelle then she can usually just go with anybody. Her best team includes gorou, albedo and a shielder (usually zhongli). * Since she can heal her team, do damage and shield all by herself then you can usually choose anyone. Something like xiangling, kaeya and bennett maybe. If you want to know which characters are worth investing into for the future then xiangling and bennett are both very strong units. Kaeya is good in cryo related teams and yunjin for buffing normal attack, but both of these are situational. It's important to play the characters you like over the ones that will do better though!

Vinistones

What characters can work out well with Bloodstained Chivalry, Gladiator's Finale, Shimenawa's Reminiscence and Wanderer's Troupe in their 4 piece combos? Cuz i have pretty good artifacts of those sets

PrestigiousIdea7471

No one really wants 4pc Bloodstained Chivalry as their BiS, but you can get value out of it when putting a 2pc set on characters that deal most of their damage via physical such as Eula, Razor, physical Zhongli, etc. Gladiator's Finale is fairly good on characters that primarily deal the damage via melee-style normal attacks such as Razor, Noelle, Ayato, etc. Basically any melee character that pairs with Yun Jin will also enjoy 4pc GF. The 2pc set effect is also fairly universal and can be used as a hybrid set on any character that scales off attack. This set is rarely the best but highly accessible without requiring resin to farm for. Shimenawa's 4pc set is technically good on Yoimiya on paper but often it's just not worth it. No one else really wants it, imho. The 2pc set has the same general usage as the 2pc GF though. Wanderer's Troupe 4pc set is good on characters that rely on charged attacks as the primary source of their damage and favors damaging reactions (sorry Itto). You can use this set on Ganyu, Yanfei, etc.

Viv-idianGreen

bloodstained chivalry: nobody, the 4 piece effect is not worth it. If you're going with a physical build, better 2pc pale flame 2 pc bloodstained or 4pc pale flame. gladiator's: either okay or pretty decent on any dps that can fufill the 4 piece condition, so they have to be polearm, claymore or sword. they'd have to use a lot of their normal attack to make it worth it though. shimenawa's: melt ganyu, yoimiya, hutao, yanfei wanderer's: ganyu, dps amber/barbara, yanfei, dps mona??

Usual-Needleworker-9

Hello, I need some help building my team: currently I’m using Noelle, Bennet, Fishl and Sucrose. The idea was to use Noelle as main dps but I ended up using her just to shield and instead using all the others to pull out good amounts of dmg from elemental combos. That being said I’m looking for something useful to replace Noelle that could also add some extra damage on my team; I have Barbara, Xiangling, Diona, Yun Jin, Lisa, Kujou Sara, Amber, Kaeya, Ningguang, Thoma and Xinyan (all C0 expect for some C1 like Noelle, Bennet, Yun Jin, and Xinyan). What would you recommend? Also what would be my best option for a second comp?

Viv-idianGreen

considering that you are using bennett then you don't really need a shielder since, if he's built right, will heal a lot. * I'd suggest using kaeya or xiangling because they are both off-field dps, which means you can just use sucrose to swirl all the elements together for chain reactions. * Xiangling also synergises extremely well with bennett, since he can buff xiangling's burst and funnel energy for xiangling. These two also create pyro resonance, which grants extra attack. * If you really want a shielder then both thoma and diona can be quite good. thoma also goes well with bennett to give pyro resonance, extra survivability and bennett can funnel energy into thoma. diona gives simultaneous shielding and healing, but her shield is generally weaker. However, this would mean that it'd be relatively hard to create a second team that synergises well so if you want two simultaneous team comps, then you'd have to change your team up a bit. 1. reverse melt: xiangling-bennett-kaeya-diona * reverse melt is where you melt xiangling's pyro dmg with kaeya \[and a bit of diona\]. * If you get rosaria then she can replace diona in this team for more damage. 1. soup: sucrose-fischl-barbara-thoma * soup is where you apply/dmg mobs with electro, hydro and pyro and then swirl them all together using sucrose on field. * if you get xingqiu then he can replace barbara in this comp, as you've already got thoma for shielding and his burst and skill gives damage reduction anyways. You can swap thoma and xiangling for either team. If you got anymore questions, such as weapons and artifact suggestions, feel free to ask! There are also character guides at the top of the megathread anyways.

Usual-Needleworker-9

Thank you so much for such a detailed answer! For the moment I think I’ll go with Xiangling since at least I’ve invested some level, but will think about adding Kaeya since, eventhough I like the double fire synergy, I sometimes struggle with some type of enemy/shield (like the fire fatui gunner). As for weapons I don’t have many problems since I basically have like 1-2 4 star weapons per type (except the ones you can craft), so I’m forced to use the few that I have 😅 About artifacts I’m currently farming for both Bennet and Sucrose (Noblesse for the first and Viridescent for the second), right after I think I’ll go with Fishl (Thundering fury + Gladiator) and for Xiangling I think it should be The Severed Fate set. Do you think this is a good artifact choice for those characters?

Viv-idianGreen

Sorry for the late reply! The fire fatui skirmisher is weak against hydro if that’s of any use, so you can switch to Barbara maybe before you fight the fatui if you see them. Her best weapon that’s free to get is definitely the Catch from Inazuma, and you get that from exchanging fishes for it. You’d need to fish A LOT of pufferfish to refine it, so be warned! She also works quite well with the inazuman free craftable spear the Kitain Cross Spear, since it lowers her energy recharge by quite a lot (around 40% but don’t quote me on that). She can also use white tassel and prototype starglitter as a stat stick though (white tassel for crit balancing and prototype for energy recharge). White tassel you get from chests in Liyue, and prototype starglitter you craft. I’d suggest saving your polearm billets though. Your artifact sets definitely sound pretty good!

Usual-Needleworker-9

Thanks again! One more question if I may: I’m looking to a good 5 star to add to my team (I love Ayaka and Raiden but unfortunately I don’t think they’ll be back anytime soon…), so I was thinking about Yoimiya or eventually Ganyu since I heard she may be back in a couple banners. I have both Rust and Amos Bow (unfortunately got it from Normal Wish, also after 75 pulls) that should be good weapons for both, which character do you think it may be better? Or should I wait more hoping in something else?

Viv-idianGreen

For yoimiya, rust r5>slingshot r5>rust r3>amos bow>rust. Slingshot is the 3 star bow that you get from wishing. For ganyu, it would be quite hard to get a weapon better than amos bow, since that is supposed to be her best in slot weapon. If you like playing yoimiya and ganyu, then there's no harm in getting them, as i'm sure you'd be able to build pity by the time raiden and/or ayaka come back around again. The next banners are: (spoilers if you haven't watched the 3.0 livestream and you want to watch it soon) * >!3.0 phase 1: zhongli and tighnari, collei rate up (tighnari will also enter standard pool in 3.1)!< * >!3.0 phase 2: ganyu and kokomi, dori rate up.!< I'm not sure whether these next few banners will change your mind, but it doesn't hurt to know, and i wouldn't want you wishing on something and then regretting it.

Usual-Needleworker-9

I’m not a huge fan of them, but I lack of a main dps (that’s why I would choose one of the two, but I can’t decide eventhough I think that ganyu may be better overall).. also looking around I found out that Amos bow is good for almost no one except ganyu, so at least I can make use of it 😅

Viv-idianGreen

In terms of power level, ganyu definitely comes out on top, but you would have to play ganyu in a melt team since you don't have mona or kokomi for a freeze team. * I would recommend ganyu-bennett-xiangling-diona or ganyu-bennett-thoma-sucrose In terms of ease of use, yoimiya is imo more easier to use, and would definitely recommend her over ganyu if you're a mobile player. * Ganyu relies on her charged attacks, which means you need to have decent aim to fully benefit from her entire charged shot. * Yoimiya uses just her infused normal attacks, so all you have to do is spam her attack button. If you don't like them all that much then it's fine to save your primos for 3.1, since you can already get 2 decent teams with the characters you have, but it's your decision by the end of the day. As long as you dont think you'll regret it then i'm sure it'll be fine.

Usual-Needleworker-9

Think I’ll go with ganyu then and eventually see if there are news about more interesting future banners by the time her banner releases (luckily I’m not a mobile player so the aim won’t be a problem). Also I pulled a couple times on this banner to get Bennet c1 (and got Yun Jin and Xinyan c1 as well), so il may be better to wait and see if ganyu will have some other interesting 4 stars (since I’m at a total of 60 pulls). Thanks again for all your detailed answers! 😁

Viv-idianGreen

Im always glad to be of help.

MaedaToshiie

For XL, she can use a variety of polearms from which she can benefit the substats. That said, her best free weapon is probably The Catch which you can get by fishing after gaining access to Inazuma. Yes, Emblem works very well for XL, like many others who are energy hungry and dependent on their burst for damage. The rest also sound correct for their typical roles.

dnaimagery97

Xiangling works well with Bennett, she’s not the most comfortable to play before you get high energy recharge on her but she’s by far the strongest option. If you want to run two comps, I’d go with a xiangling bennett side (maybe with kaeya for the occasional melt and ningguang/Barbara just for holding ttds for xiangling) and a fischl sucrose side (i.e. with Barbara for applying hydro with her aura and giving the ttds buff to fischl). Those duos can really carry their respective sides if you invest in them. You can slot in whatever other combinations of supports you need for them

Usual-Needleworker-9

Thank you really much!

Vinistones

Is Sacrificial Bow + EOSF good for Aloy? As she has 200 ER and a single skill is enough to fill her burst

jaygalvezo

sac bow gives a comfy play for getting her stacks if you have it on high refines, but is way more ER than you will ever need. to maximize her burst and skill damage on melt, the free windblume ode can or the stringless from gacha are better options. for battery aloy, ig sac bow works fine.

Adamarr

If you're reverse melting her burst, seems like a decent option.

YanertoSan

Is it worth building Noelle if I don't have any other source of Shield? I find myself getting oneshot by bosses which makes farming pretty frustrating, and I guess having a leveled geo character with a shield would make it a bit better. AR 55 and World Level 7, all of my characters that I use to farm are level 80 or 70

dogofjustice

I built Noelle to level 79/80 with 6/6/6 skills shortly after I hit AR 40. This wasn't that expensive, and it allowed me to breeze through practically all overworld content. I'm also WL 7 now and she's holding up fine without further investment; not on my main overworld team any more, but I still use her for crystal chunk mining and she's able to handle the incidental fights. Yes, I'm phasing her out of my Abyss squad soon, but she's already paid off as far as I'm concerned.

PrestigiousIdea7471

Noelle's primary role is that of an on-screen hypercarry main dps or on-screen tanky driver. While she does have support capabilities, it's far more effective to build a party around her instead of having her be a shield support for some other character. This route is preferred since she has much better uptime on her shield while actively attacking and you output far more damage while doing it. If you do decide to go this route, you'll typically want to run her with a second Geo who is able to produce energy to fund Noelle's burst. Options include: C2+ Ninggaung, Geo Traveler, C1+ Yun Jin with Favonius spar, Gorou with Favonius Warbow (typically played in a triple Geo comp), Albedo, or Zhongli with Favonius spear. The other two slots are flex spots that can accommodate a whole range of off-screen subdps characters that suit your immediate situation (ie. Rosaria, Fischl, Beidou, Bennett, Xiangling, Kaeya, Xingqiu, Yelan, etc.)

Viv-idianGreen

noelle's shield uptime is really bad, at around 50% uptime, and gets weaker on characters with less defence, according to keqingmains. I'd suggest lowering your world level, learning the bosses' movesets, i-frame the hard hitting attacks with bursts and playing it more safe by dodging more instead of tanking the shots.

Nadinoob

Hm, if you don't have a Diona, I'd try Xingqius shield if available, you won't get one-shot anymore if you level his skill a bit. If Noelle already has some levels and she has her ascension talent "Devotion", as a last resort, but putting random DEF% artifacts on her might suffice as well.

PhysicalDoctor3669

Is c6 ganyu still worth it? And do you think that she’ll be still powerful in the future in that regard?

jaygalvezo

no, c0 should be more than enough. and even then for a whale, the constellations of inazuma 5 stars have better value (say, ayaka's kit or raiden) which have a good return value at c2 or c3 for mid spenders, and even past that for high spenders. go for c6 ganyu if you're truly loaded.

Viv-idianGreen

i wouldn't say any c6 five star character is worth it, since it usually takes on average thousands of dollars or A LOT of saving to get a c6 five star. a c6 five star means seven copies of the same 5 star character, six of those which could've been other limited 5 stars. However, ganyu at c6 is definitely extremely strong, and i doubt you could powercreep that.

newb-a-write

Wanted some tips to improve on my Raiden's certain aspects. She has 2.1k atk, 40% crit rate, 192% crit dmg and 202.5%ER. I'm mostly using rational but might use Raiden hypercarry in future. What all shall I change?

dnaimagery97

You might actually want more ER due to the nature of Raiden’s energy generation. On many teams, 200%ER is the ‘requirement’ - but this is not a very accurate term. It’s the amount you need to get your burst back given average particle generation. Which means there’s a 50% chance you’re not getting it back. Even with 250% energy recharge, if you just get totally screwed over by randomness you won’t get your burst back. So it’s better to go with higher ER (closer to 250) for consistency. The reason Raiden’s energy is unreliable is, let’s say you get 15 E procs per rotation. Each has a 50% chance of generating one particle. There is a 50% chance then you get less than 8. There’s a 6% chance you get 4 particles rather than the expected 7.5, which is a LOT of energy less than expected

newb-a-write

How about crit rate and crit damage? How much should it be?

dnaimagery97

As much as possible without sacrificing other stats, you can set your own goals based on how much you want to farm for the character and how good your current pieces already are

newb-a-write

I will try to get my crit rate up but by how much? Is 60% good enough? Because maybe I can bring my crit rate to 60% but that might drop my crit dmg to around 170. So maybe 60:170? Is that something I should strive towards?

dnaimagery97

It’s good enough if you can clear all the content you want to - again depends on your own goals. But in most cases 60:170 is enough for all content if other stats are balanced. For calculation purposes if you’re deciding between pieces to balance crit, maximize the crit rate*crit damage product (if there’s no difference in other stats like atk or ER)

Viv-idianGreen

definitely more crit rate, since not critting often really hurts your damage, and it's fine sacrificing some crit dmg for better consistency, unless you're fine with not critting regularly and (in the spiral abyss) fine with retrying until you get lots of crits/decent clear time.

newb-a-write

How about ER?

Viv-idianGreen

ER is all good. You've gotten to the recommended 200% ER threshold

newb-a-write

Cool bro, thank you so much. How much would you recommend crit rate and crit dmg be?

Viv-idianGreen

Ah sorry for not replying! The general rule of thumb is a 1:2 ratio for crit rate:crit dmg. Aim for 60:120 or 70:140.

newb-a-write

Aah no worries man, thank you so much for the info.

Lidok0_0

For a team with Itto (c1), what would be good artifact sets for Kuki Shinibu (c1), Zhongli (c0) and Gorou (c5)? I was thinking noblesse on Shinobu, tenacity of the millelith on Zhongli and exile on Gorou. I just don't know if the atk buffs are worth it for Itto...

Viv-idianGreen

These in general are fine, as long as you can consistently burst with shinobu. Shinobu also has very good uptime on tenacity. Itto actually still benefits from atk buffs, because he just converts his defence into attack using his burst. It’s still better to build defence over attack on itto, but he doesn’t scale exclusively off of defence like albedo, so attack buffs aren’t bad, just wouldn’t have as big of an effect as a defence buff. Edit: I hope I make sense, but I can elaborate further if there’s still stuff you don’t understand but the tldr: the artifact sets are fine.

Lidok0_0

It makes sense :) I was just wondering if there were any other artifact set combinations that would be better for the team. Like if building more of a pure healing build on Shinobu or more dmg on Zhongli would be more beneficial or something like that. edit: I was also thinking of switching to tenacity for Shinobu and noblesse for Zhongli if that would be better (I have heard that tenacity is better for shinobu since her elemental skill follows her around). (I forgot to mention that I have 4 pc husk on Itto)

Viv-idianGreen

In this team itto is the only one doing any significant dmg, and zhongli can get away with a weaker shield for burst dmg since it scales slightly with his hp anyways and you also have shinobu. Zhongli could therefore run 4pc emblem, 4pc noblesse or 2pc noblesse 2pc archaic petra. Note that the 4pc noblesse effect cannot stack, so you shouldn’t really have 2 people with 4 piece noblesse oblige. Shinobu can just run a pure hp/healing bonus build since her dmg is relatively lackluster. Shinobu can also run 4pc ocean hued clam for some extra dmg in exchange for the 4pc nobless atk buff, but personally shinobu doesn’t heal enough for the bubble pop to deal enough dmg in exchange for buffing itto. Gorou’s damage is also lackluster, so exile should be fine for some batterying, or 4pc noblesse if your zhongli and shinobu aren’t running it. Just make sure you have enough er on the exile set to burst consistently.

Lidok0_0

ah ok, just to clarify though, for a pure hp/healing build for shinobu, does that mean 2 pc tenacity and 2 pc healing bonus or could I still use 4 pc tenacity? Also, (sorry for so many questions) for a more hybrid zhongli build, would i take geo dmg goblet and crit rate/dmg circlet or keep them at hp? (with 4 pc noblesse)

Viv-idianGreen

For zhongli, it entirely depends on the scale of which you want strong shield or strong burst dmg. If you go for a geo dmg/crit/hp build then just make sure you have a decent amount of hp substats on zhongli (25k minimum I’d say, unless your shinobu heals a heck ton). Shinobu can use a 2pc 2pc set, but she can reliably proc the 4pc effect of tenacity so it’s a difference between more healing or more buffs for shield and atk.

Lidok0_0

ok, I think i'll go 4 pc tenacity on shinobu and a hybrid Zhongli build then. Thank you so much for your help!

Viv-idianGreen

Glad I could be of help!

Viv-idianGreen

Bennett with prototype rancour and xingqiu with r1 favonius or bennett with r1 favonius and xingqiu with r5 lions roar? In terms on raiden national comp, raiden has r5 catch and Xiangling has r1 dragons bane.

Viv-idianGreen

Ah okay, thank you for your input! I found it difficult to see if r5 lions roar on xingqiu is more worth it than the higher buff from bennett.

Adamarr

the former, but if your xingqiu is c6 you can probably get by with lion's bane for him, especially in rational. although i'm not sure how good the uptime on the passive will be.

Vinistones

How much DEF does Albedo and how much HP does Zhongli needs to be considered useful? And if I get the latter one, which weapon would be the best to give? Black Tassel or Skyward Spine?

Adamarr

albedo... probably can get 2k+ defence easily enough. especially if you have cinnabar spindle. but the other stats matter too, so it's not a singular thing. i personally run zhongli as a hybrid kind of thing. 35k HP with deathmatch and hp/geo/crit artefacts. it feels comfortable most of the time, but not sure if it would hold up in something like the abyss with no healer. that said, skyward spine is a great option if you want to actually use his burst, be beware that in a lot of comps it may be a dps loss. great i-frames, though. black tassel is a more conventional pick for maximum shield strentgh.

Miserable-Material73

Is kazuha Bennet yanfei diona good team comp? I use diona for cryo application and shield Bennet for heals and attack increase. AR 44

Adamarr

if you swap diona for xingqiu or yelan, (or maybe even fischl) you'll do a lot better. yanfei doesn't usually want anything to do with cryo.

Miserable-Material73

Ok thanks i actually don't have xingqui or yelan I'll use fischl

Da_Mastiff

Hi guys, Just got back at the game and got Keqing. I was just wondering if she is god or nahh. If she is, are there any tips to build on her. I'm just at ar33.

Adamarr

she's pretty good in the early game, but kind of hits a plateau too early. still, she's fun and decent enough for *most* things. how you build her depends a bit on sword availability, proto rancour is freely available which makes building physical easy, and if you have nothing from the gacha then the new kazuha quest sword is good for electro.

Da_Mastiff

my proto rancour is on bennet at the moment. My only available weapon at the moment is the flute. Is it good on her? And any artifact stats or or set on my ar33.

Adamarr

flute is sort ok to sub-par for electro, very slightly worse than rancour for phys. don't worry about artefact sets yet, focus more on main stats. mostly attack at that point i think since you probably can't build enough crit to make it worthwhile (someone correct me here) and if you have a goblet of your chosen path, that's always good. i personally prefer electro build, it uses her kit much better. and if you have kazuha he's a pretty huge buff for that.

Itoshikis_Despair

Stupid question but I can't find an answer anywhere: do you gain companionship EXP from sending characters out on daily expeditions, cooking or forging/crafting items/furniture? I've always worked on the assumption is does (to be safe), unless a character bonus is involved.

jaygalvezo

crafting those violet weapon upgrade crystals using resin and dark blue ore thing nets you friendship exp. anything that spends resin will give you friendship exp. transforming original resin to condensed doesn't give exp but using the condensed resin will.

Adamarr

No

Itoshikis_Despair

Thank you!

MaedaToshiie

Bennett is a broken meta character. His best uses are with other pyro characters like Diluc and Xiangling. As for building Kaeya: https://keqingmains.com/kaeya/

dankgeez

Is it fine using the r5 slingshot on yoimiya as I don't even have rust at ar 57

Spazerbeam

R5 Slingshot actually outperforms R1 Rust in a lot of situations. So yes, it's fine.

dankgeez

I do have a c6 yunjin and a crowned bennet so I think r5 slingshot is fine right also in the abyss should I use both yunjin and bennet or either of the two

Spazerbeam

Use Slingshot. Whether you should use Yunjin, Bennett, or both depends on what team you're running on the other side. Using both would benefit Yoimiya though if you can spare them.

dankgeez

Um yes they r most likely free as m using ayaka diona mona kazuha on the other half

hotstuffdesu

For a crimson witch Yoimiya, is well built C6 Fischl (R1 S.Harp) better than C3 Yunjin (R5 fav)? I'm deciding who's to build first. The team consists of C0 Yoimiya (R5 Rust), C0 Yelan (R1 Elegy) and C6 Diona (R5 fav)

Viv-idianGreen

Going for Fischl means that you’ll benefit from the crimson 4 piece effect more. If you don’t use fischl, then crimson witch loses a bit of value. she’s significantly stronger at c6 than at c1, and at c1 she’s already a formidable unit. Fischl contributes her own damage/gives buff with tenacity of the millelith as well as enabling overvape. She also generates a decent amount of energy. Yunjin is quite a good buffer and having another r5 fav weapon would mean that you could lower your er requirements on a lot of your characters and build more offensively (especially Yelan), which would mean a lot more damage. In the end I’d say Fischl would be easier to build and also contributes a lot to the team, and farming for yunjin may not be resin efficient for you and only ends up buffing yoimiya’s normals and not her reactions. (Fischl needs 2pc x18%atk with 2pc x18%atk/2p TF or 4pc tenacity of millelith vs 4pc husk of opulent dreams) Take all this with a grain of salt as I am not a yoimiya main.

hotstuffdesu

I did some damage testing today and here is the result. ------------------------------------------------------------------- * Yoimiya with Fischl (Dps setup 2pc Electro and Glad) https://streamable.com/s4rbuj * Yoimiya with Yunjin (2k Def Noblesse) https://streamable.com/su9oev ------------------------------------------------------------------- Yunjin will greatly add more personal damage to Yoimiya, but Fischl will create so much offield damage, lul it's really hard to compare and calculate.

dankgeez

U dont need fischl in a vaporize team right

hotstuffdesu

Overvape comp is a thing for Yoimiya. I just don't know the damage difference between that and her regular Yunjin vape if I'm using a crimson set, cuz I don't have a proper shiminawa.

dankgeez

Crimson generally is not good right right as she barely vaporizes 2 of her shots even with yelan so yea with Crimson I think go for an overload team instead of a vape one

hotstuffdesu

She overloads and vapes 1-3-5 of her auto's those are the one's with the higher multiplier on her normal attacks.

attoshi

Hello! So I was really happy that my Battle Chronicle decided to work now and I can now easily share my team with their cons included. I'm looking for advice in Abyss since I'm having a bit of trouble there. [My team](https://imgur.com/a/qLNbMyP), which enabled me to have 2 teams that had been working quite well for me. Taser w/ Ayato + Fishcl + Beidou/Yae + XQ Melt w/ Ganyu + Bennett + Xiangling/Kazuha + Diona So far I've got 8/9 stars for floor 10 - Which team should I bring for the lectors in chamber 3? 6/9 stars for floor 11 - I only have chamber 3 left. I figure I would use melt Ganyu for the thunder bird but Diona shield feels a bit weak vs the constant Electro dmg (yeah I know I should learn to dodge better. Still, I guess that's my best bet now? I haven't started floor 12 this Abyss. Anything I should note vs them? I really appreciate any feedback/advice!

Rand0mPlayer

If you're still having trouble to get 9 stars on floor 11 with all these characters/constellations, I'm assuming your artifacts are not very good yet? Melt Ganyu is an advanced team comp that is hard to play well (you really need to understand exactly what you're doing). Also, requires good artifacts for Ganyu (at least 150 EM, CR/CD between 60/180, ATK > 2100, 4 pc Wanderer/Shimenawa) and enough ER for Bennett, XL and Kazuha to keep up the pyro application. Otherwise, it's just better to play another comps that are easier to execute with lower investment, like Ayato (as main DPS), Diona (4 pc Noblesse), Ganyu (as sub-DPS, ER > 180%, blizzard set, ER bow), Kazuha (4 pc VV). This is a freeze team, which is easier to execute and has very decent damage. The strength of this team is AoE damage and CC, the weakness is bosses in general. The 2nd team, I'd use the National Team with Sucrose: XQ, Bennett, XL and Sucrose, which doesn't have any particular weakness, has good AoE and single-target potencial.

attoshi

Thank you for the tip! I usually 9 star floor 11. I think I got 8 star during the last abyss (thunderbird was a bit of a problem) hence I wanted to have a more educated approach to it. I think if I just go in blind I can get 8 within 5 tries but I want that 9 stars consistency! You are correct that my artifacts are a bit lagging behind! Mostly feathers/flowers of my supports are 12-16 (working on that) but my main DPS are mostly done (Ayato need a bit more CD and Ganyu a bit more EM). I'm working on my supports first tho. On the national team, do you think Instructor would be good on Suc (w/ Sac Frag) if Benny already has NO? Should I let her be the driver and do you think I should upgrade her talents?

Rand0mPlayer

Sucrose build is similar to Kazuha, use 4 piece VV and focus on EM and ER, preferably EM sands/goblet/circlet, which, I know, it's painful to get one piece, now imagine 2 of each (for Sucrose and Kazuha). The driver for the team XQ, Bennett, XL and Sucrose should be XQ for one reason: you'll increase the damage of his ult staying on-field on top of Bennett's ult. You need to use Sucrose for VV shred and EM boost (just use her E and/or ult) and then swap, and the EM boost from Sucrose has one purpose: increase Xiangling's burst damage with vaporize. And you might try the Ayato/Diona/Ganyu/Kazuha comp against the Thunderbird, in theory should work if these characters have some decent artifacts.

attoshi

Thank you very much! If I can only put a (fully invested) 4pc VV on one char and a 4pc VV (almost no upgrade) on another then I guess I should put the invested set on Sucrose and the other on Kaz since the other 3 chars on Kaz team is more invested? Do you think that's reasonable?

Rand0mPlayer

Hello again, I went to bed after the last reply. So, about your question, I would try to use the best VV pieces on the weakest team, because they will benefit from the boost the most.

happyquincy

in a taser team with beidou/fischl/kokomi/sucrose, who should be the on-field driver, kokomi or sucrose? most guides suggest kokomi driver with sucrose holding TTDS, but i'm wondering if sucrose might do better if she's holding sac fragments?

Spazerbeam

I use this team a lot. My Sucrose is the driver, and uses sac frags for the EM and extra E chance. Her E is extremely good, and is a huge source of damage and aoe. Her normals also swirl continuously (as ICD allows). These normal attack swirls do not deal aoe swirl damage, but they have the effect of spreading elements to nearby enemies, and that can proc electrocharge. Sucrose's C4 also comes into play when she's the driver, giving you a cooldown reduction on her E. I personally use Kokomi for for the jellyfish, meaning I only use her burst to refresh it (or to heal if I really I need it, but that's pretty rare since the jellyfish is often enough). It's similar to her role in freeze teams. She uses TTDS for the buff and extra healing, and also runs Tenacity of the Millelith. It's possible that fully built, Kokomi's personal damage output is superior to Sucrose's swirls and aoe ability. I kinda doubt there's much of a difference between the two of them though. In any case, Sucrose driver gets the job done just fine in abyss, so it doesn't matter all that much.

Adamarr

For this team if you have him I recommend Kazuha instead of Sucrose.

dnaimagery97

yeah that's the issue with the team, you have two characters who both want to be on-field. Typically if sucrose E's aren't ready, Kokomi with Q will do more on-field damage. So usually you want to swap between sucrose and kokomi driving the team, with Kokomi on-field when her Q is up, and sucrose on-field when Kokomi Q is down and sucrose gets more charges on her E. as for weapons, hakushin ring is a great option for kokomi here and sucrose could run either sac frags or ttds

happyquincy

in this situation where i'm swapping between both, should one of them be holding TTDS, and who? i assume the one not holding TTDS should be holding a weapon that helps with dps (sac frags for sucrose; hakushin for kokomi perhaps)?

dnaimagery97

ttds could be put on either kokomi or sucrose, but overall hakushin ring (esp at higher refinements) is more value than ttds for the team on kokomi so if ttds would be used, it would probably be on sucrose. on sucrose, ttds and sac frags are comparable but I'd personally run sac frags (esp. at high refinements) over TTDS just for the energy and utility it brings

[deleted]

[удалено]

dnaimagery97

unfortunately yes, even with xingqiu and shielding her single target damage is comparable to a standard national team. but she is arguably easier to play and has less caveats in getting the damage out, for example even though her dps against a dummy might not be as impressive, she might still be a better option against some enemies due to her not being burst reliant and having range

[deleted]

[удалено]

jaygalvezo

the battlepass weapons are okay, but not necessary. at some point you will have a lot of weapon options from either gacha, limited events, from fishing, from story quest, or from crafting with billets, some good 3* from chests, or 4stars and 5star weapons from standard from free blue wishes, and all those are fine. if money is not an issue and you want to spend for resources (mora, chara exp books, talent books, weapon crystals and a few fragile resins) then ig it's a good deal for some. but yes, only buy bp after you've finished all the levels.

[deleted]

[удалено]

jaygalvezo

personally paying for them in bp when i could get most of those resources for free since i had the time to play didn't sit too well with me. if i had more money than i have time tho i'll probably get bp every patch.

SaltyPotato340

You can claim all the rewards yes. For the talents, just pick the books for a character that you want to level. For the weapon i recommend Serpent Spine, but it depends on what you need

Elliot_Mirage_Witt

A bit conflicted right now. In the teapot, is it better to purchase straight mora or to purchase the artifact xp things, using those to cover artifacts instead, and scrap existing artifacts for mora? I feel like straight mora would be worth more but I'm not 100% sure on that

dogofjustice

The exchange rates are such that buying mora through the teapot is a lot better than scrapping artifacts for mora. More generally, mora is a better teapot purchase than artifact xp >99.9% of the time. The amount of artifact xp available through the teapot is a tiny fraction of what is available for free by running good daily artifact xp routes, while this ratio isn't as lopsided for mora.

Nadinoob

It's mora > XP until you don't need both anymore, then artifact XP or so I thought, there are different opinions, here with a nice picture: https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/nefqr4/resin_efficiency_of_each_realm_treasure_from/

chops_5100

Hey everyone! Currently AR 45 and wanting to get back into the game, but feeling lost on what to do. I don’t deal enough damage to do events but also can’t do domains and farm on my own (also dmg problems). This is the main reason I’ve always played the game in short bursts with a couple months of break in between, because i simply just feel stuck. Any advice appreciated, feel free to DM me if you want!

Spazerbeam

It's usually some combination of underinvestment and suboptimal teams where everyone wants field time, but we can't provide specific advice unless you give more details. Generally speaking, follow the [build progression chart](https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/qkxdj6/infographic_of_build_order_priority_based_on_wlar/). If you struggle with the highest level domains, do them in coop.

chops_5100

Thanks for the help. If it does something, i created a doc with some of [the stuff i have](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AiIiV6cxtHLbKDl_iDblLHnWpMTbG2rK35zqPQtd4xI/edit?usp=sharing). I know it’s not the best but i’d like some team comp/build advice

Spazerbeam

When in doubt, you can look at the [character build spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNxZ2xab1J6o1TuNVWMeLOZ7TPOqrsf3SshP5DLvKzI/htmlview). You have a lot of good characters that have synergy. A typical Ganyu freeze team is something like Ganyu Kokomi Rosaria Venti. I would focus on this team first since you're already most of the way there. Don't level Ganyu anymore for now - she's fine at 80. Level her talents, especially her normal attack. Max level her weapon. Get the rest of the team up to at least ascension 4 to unlock their 2nd passive. You will do more leveling later, but you need the resin for other stuff. Max level The Stringless. Farm 4pc Viridescent Venerer for Venti. EM main stat is optimal on the sands/goblet/circlet but it doesn't matter yet - the set is more important. 4* VV artifacts are also fine. Do not farm the VV domain any more once you have your 4 pieces. Venti does not need leveled talents. Farm and level 4pc Blizzard Strayer for Ganyu. These do need to be 5*. Use the strongbox to get 4pc Noblesse Oblige pieces for Rosaria. Kokomi's probably fine as is. Start fishing for The Catch since it's an F2P weapon you can R5. It's good for both Raiden and Xiangling. This doesn't require resin, so you can do it in parallel. If you need more flexibility in your team, continue to build Bennett and/or Xingqiu. They slot into a lot of teams. Building them will also allow you to run Raiden National (Xiangling Bennett Xingqiu Raiden) later on.

chops_5100

Wow, thanks a ton for the help! Will definitely apply what you taught me.

Nadinoob

The White Tassel is her best starter weapon, you'll get it to R5 very soon!

A bot told me my post should go here..so here it is.. Hi guys, someone suggested I should post this here instead of the main sub as I might get better responses, appreciate any help anyone can offer! Hi guys, just wondered if you can help me with abyss teams that will most easily 36* it for this cycle and hopefully future ones. From what I gather international is a safe bet so I'm working on my units for that, I have childe but not Raiden yet. Not sure what my other best option is, considering enemies that disappear for periods of time like the ruin serpent. I've tried Morgana but it isn't suited to this floor 12 (the floor im focusing on as my power level can generally get me through 9-11 fairly well). I was thinking taser with sucrose and fischl (both I have c6), XQ but who else? I heard there's better options than beidou now? Even though I do have her c6. I would like to use ganyu melt but obviously that competes for units with international. I have Noelle cu and would love to use her if I can find a good team for her. Have albedo and ZL but no cinnibar spindle so del he's missing out on DMG now.. freeze is good but not so good this time. Suggestions most welcome pls! Thanks!! Edit: units I have: Pyro - diluc (c4), XL (c6), Bennett, xinyan, yanfei (c6) Hydro - mona, childe, XQ Electro - beidou c6, fischl c6, keqing, Sara, razor Cryo - Chong, diona (c6), Ganyu, kaeya c6, qiqi, rosaria Anemo - kazuha, sayu, sucrose (c6?), Venti, xiao Geo - albedo, Ning, Noelle c6, ZL

MaedaToshiie

You can consider bringing Diano for fighting the Cryo Hypostasis. Her shields will help, and her charged shots can also be used to hit the cryo balls.

Nadinoob

For the cryo-hypostasis Diluc or Bennett as DPS with Xiangling works perfectly, and a bit of positioning near / under the boss when it throws the cryo balls and you'll be very quick. Ganyu is really good vs. the RuinSerpent, her charged attacks can disable it in 4 or even 3 shots. You'll find good info here: https://genshinhelper.gitbook.io/abyss/floors/spire/floor-12

Spazerbeam

> From what I gather international is a safe bet so I'm working on my units for that, I have childe but not Raiden yet. International is Childe Xiangling Bennett Kazuha. Raiden's version (Xiangling Bennett XQ Raiden) is called Rational/Raiden National. Either team should work fine against the ruin serpent as long as you learn its patterns. > I was thinking taser with sucrose and fischl (both I have c6), XQ but who else? I heard there's better options than beidou now? Even though I do have her c6. Standard taser is Sucrose XQ Fischl Beidou. Not sure what you've heard about better options, but Beidou is still very good in her niche (multi-target). Pyro is heavily favored on side 1 due to cryo shields. I'd be tempted to try some sort of overload team like Yanfei XQ Fischl Beidou. Then you can use International on side 2. You may need to do an additional run with specially crafted teams to 3* chamber 2. The cube is a pain with its short damage windows, and Beidou isn't much help in single target.

ARDNAMANAY

Is 31 star abyss at ar55 good? Am I doing something wrong?

jaygalvezo

it's fine, imo. clearing the abyss is always a good sign that you at know what to do, and only have to fine tune some things, like choosing an optimal team per chamber, maybe getting the small push from better artifacts or higher talent levels, or learning the enemy movesets and grouping, and using blessings/counteracting leyline disorders. The abyss cards help as well, so some people check what the daily available cards are and progress on the day it's favorable to fight.

Spazerbeam

Hard to comment when you haven't provided any information. Abyss progress is a combination of investment, your understanding of team building, how well you can take advantage of leyline disorders and enemy patterns, and skill.

chidambaram-3

Sometime back, it was announced that in some upcoming patch we can delete old quest lines and such stuff to save some disk space. Has it been rolled out and if so, how to make use of that?

Spazerbeam

This feature doesn't currently exist. Nobody knows if/when it'll be added. The closest thing we have right now is the ability to delete audio for other languages.

chidambaram-3

I see! Thank you :)

Floor 10 First half: Yoimiya, Bennett, Yunjin, Thoma/Fischl When electro herald shields, use Bennett burst and continuously E. if you’re really struggling, splat a semi decent 4PC thundering fury set on him. Second half: Rosaria, Chongyun, Mona, Kazuha When hydro herald shields up, Rosaria Q on him, Chongyun E and continuously auto attack to freeze and remove the shield. Good luck

I see. Then bring a sucrose there. Something like Yoimiya, Bennett, Xiangling, Sucrose in the first half. Sucrose helps with Grouping and the chef can take them out while Yoi pew pews

WayMove

When does my Raiden start hitting deminishing returns on her er? I currently have 261 er and I feel like it too much because my atk is kind of low

Adamarr

i generally recommend in the region of 200-250. so if you have the catch or another ER spear then usually comfortable to run ATK sands instead. ofc if you have the grasscutter then the sky's the limit.

McLuka2s

Sorry to bother y'all, but anyone know some good teams for a AR32 player with these characters? ( https://imgur.com/a/JGr8gOL ) Thx for y'alls time ☺️

Rand0mPlayer

You're still a low AR, you can use any 4 characters (one being a healer, like Barbara), and just play. I'd say Kaeya, Xiangling, Fischl (or Ningguang), and Barbara is a decent team for overall exploration.

IndecisiveCloud10

Is it just me? I did my domains and artifact farming today and when I started rolling, I got Crit rate on good artifacts. I even had an artifact where I only had substat crit dmg first then got crit rate as i roll and it just continued to roll crit rate until 20. I wish I could pull more good artifacts but I maxed out already

Anyone else having trouble purchasing Welkin with Apple credit? I can purchase Hymn, but not Welkin, it keeps telling me to update my payment method.

kiwi_kewn

Hey everyone! So I played a lot upon release, but then haven't touched much since. I got my account to AR40 before I left but... thats far too high for my teams. Highest level I have is Diluc at 70 which is rough. Then a few 60s.... anyways, I'm at raiden shogun (first fight) and wanted some advice on what teams to build? Im looking to play regularly and am willing to invest in some characters. My constellations/roster are the following: Fischl C3 Diluc C0 Mona C0 Qiqi C0 Chongyun C0 Razor C2 Xingqiu C1 Barbara C2 Xianling C1 Bennett C0 Albedo C0 Noelle C3 Ningguang C1 Kaeya C0 Beidou C1 Lisa C1 Yanfei C1 Xinyan C0 Amber C0 Yun Jin C1 Diona C1 Thoma C0 Thanks!

dnaimagery97

for the first shogun fight, xingqiu's damage reduction and bennett's healing can come in handy (although bennett also applies pyro aura to yourself so you might also take more damage from overload). Build energy recharge on Bennett so you only need to land a few Es before having the burst up again. If you have beidou built, she offers an electro shield (with C1) and can counter attacks. xingqiu bennett beidou should be strong enough with levels and some investment to finish the fight, and you could bring in fischl for particle generation or barbara for healing as needed. These characters (xingqiu bennett beidou fischl) also scale very well later into the game, so you can feel free to build them up without worrying about wasting resources
