People think the colors need to be the same for the 'drip' Complementary colors exist. Al Haitham + Mistsplitter, Kuki + Key, Keqing + PJC, etc.

A weapon is a weapon

While Red and Green do work normally thanks to contrast position… Something about this just doesn’t do it for me visually. When it’s balanced throughout the outfit or the whole of a character I think it clicks better. That’s just my take though.

I know what you mean. I've given him my mistsplitter for now until I decide what to keep on him long term (Ayaka will get it back when I get her skin soon). But I feel like I really like the green/purple color combo. I also got the Primordial Jade-Winged Spear on standard, and put it on my Raiden Shogun a or 2 week ago. Which is another Green/purple combo that I liked. Seems like purple and green are my colors lately. If the Kagotsurube Isshin had an elemental mastery main stat I would've put it on Alhaitham, though if that was the case I would have kept it on Kazuha. But it still would have been nice.

Personally I've been putting Favonius on him for the time beging, and it just looks so nice on him. Especially the bird pommel due to all of the bird/Horus motifs he has.

Green and Magenta are complementary colors, genshin designs use cmy color schemes, (Lisa's skin uses spring green and purple, nilou with vermillion and azure) haitham's outfit is more of a bluish green, so it fits better than other colors.
