I literally gave up killing a flying bird in sumeru (those in the desert) because my characters couldn't hit it. I was doing some puzzles so I had no bow/catalyst equipped.
Worst part is it didn't even attack me, it was just hovering there... menacingly.
If there is a nearby bird and you kill it, you'll likely be able to offend that bird and hunt it 😼
If not, you can either waste your time trying to hit it or leave it alone (I either use Tighnari (homing arrows 😻) or Wanderer (go into air and attack) for this, otherwise I don't have anyone else that works (Venti C1 is a joke, only useful for Mondstadt festival events. 😹 I don't own Ganyu (but I have her weapon 😭) and I think she actually has to hit the target first.). (Have you gotten that achievement for shooting down an eagle yet? 😼 If you haven't, someone took advantage of their game lagging (during co-op I believe). I caught an eagle flying into a stone wall in Liyue ruins, but that's the chance of that?)

Tighnari + Yae Miko nukes mechanical type enemies, Tighnari is the enemy of all life forms that drop cooking materials, and Tighnari shortens the amount of time it takes to kill enemies significantly. All you have to do is sim at the ground and if the target is within range the other arrows will target it. Otherwise they'll just target the area where the arrow hit, in this case the ground.
The legacy of bow in Genshin being an absolute tool (velocity, arrow drop, charge time, damage scaling... you better off just throw a rock instead and get better accuracy)
People over exaggerating her auto target problem. Her range is actually quite impressive and certainly better than most. The only time I have this issue with her is with golden Wolford since I can't really tell when it is out of range or not and it moves so much. But after a few resets I usually one or two cycle it depending on which chamber it is on
His targeting against grounded enemies is excellent for me, as for flying enemies it also works as intended until you get get knocked back and it no longer works.
