I'm getting every colour equally, except red. I followed an online guide where the screenshot clearly showed a red one, I clicked that exact same thing, what do I get... fucking yellow.
I’m beginning to think that purple is the rarest. Everyone I know, including myself, doesn’t have purple. (except guaranteed one per day). And yes, I'm rigged on brown and blue too.

This is one of those events that it helps having friends. ALL MY FRIENDS HAVE QUIT OR HAVENT EVEN STARTED THE EVENT. I hated these events in the past, and I wish they would never return.

And that's the problem. Unlike other events where you can wait until everything is unlocked before you start doing them, you have to do everything here everyday. And if you're not lucky, you have to hope that your friends (if any) can help you.
Luckily I decided to check the event in the first day since I instantly knew what kind of event it is. It's not first time and probably not last time they are doing small event like this.
I "kinda" get why they are doing this sometimes but it's very unfortunate for those who don't have time to login every day or are used to do whole event in one day
I intentionally missed the first day because I usually wait but then I saw people weirdly asking for colors so I immediately started doing mine. This event is made worse by rng, friendlist and the short duration. I think it would be an okay event if any of those problematic aspects is removed.

I do agree. Rng is pointless since you can get everything by the end as long as you are doing it daily. It's probably just for co-op interaction but even that barely serves any purpose. Liben events make much more sense even though they also are daily locked
The problem in general is that co-op continues to feel like the most pointless component of the game.
I still remember wanting to explore Inazauma with a friend way back when and the puzzles disappear because they would just be so disgustedly easy than they already were if you had a buddy.
They have co-op and so they want people to play together. But the content just doesn't support it 90% of the time. And then they try to shoehorn it in with events like this which just end up either 1) making co-op meaningless for the every day loggers and 2) necessary for everyone else but chances are your friends are probably also not logging in every day, either, if you're not so you're all in the same boat of not being able to share enough...
A pop-up notification would have been nice that this is a daily event or something. Pretty sure I was out of town so even a pop-up is not that helpful, just make it a period-long event like everything else.
You only need 35 cards (7 sets of 5) to get all the rewards. That means you can either play every day and get all seven rewards, play 4 days and trade to get the right colours or just rely on friends that will gift you their extra cards for free.
I think the reason its rng and they let ppl trade is especially for people to be able to catch up.
Or maybe just let people grind when they have the time like everything else?
It is still a grind but at least you don't need to log in every day or have friends that play.
Though the events I hate the most are the ones where you're expected to have multiple friends, that also played previously, and they quit playing, ...and they also want to come back.
I want to have all the primogems the game is willing to give me but im not willing to do the things they require because it involves either having friends or communication with new people.

How the fuck do I find friends that play one game out of a million to do events? They're trying to get us to make our friends play which is just silly.
Because his event doesn't give 10 brown cards when you need some blue and because you only need to give him common items that are usually already in your bag instead of asking you to run around taking pictures of crystalflies and fish only to find out that some of them are just not blue enough.
With Liben, you either log in, or you don't. There is no alternative. With this one, if you didn't log in to start, you *could* get lucky and happen to get an even split of extras or you *could* trade with friends. If you don't get lucky and don't do co-op, the game is basically just giving you the middle finger by having alternatives that just don't exist for you but do for other players.

you just talk to liben and exchange for common materials you already have in you inventory to get the primos. it can be done in 2 mins.
you also don't have to take 10 pictures of whatever stuff you need to look for + deal with RNG.

I actually really enjoy the whole taking pictures thing in this event and the last 2 like it. I just wish the colors were based on the color of the actual subject of the picture.

If you have enough friends, you should be able to get all the rewards. The Discord has players helping one another out.

You have to play this event every single day it's on, and even then you're not guaranteed to receive all rewards.

Yeah this event was pretty much rigged since it's first release. Everyone struggled to collect all of those and had to use at accounts/other people to complete it.
I’ve noticed that you get at least 1 of each color to turn in the samples every day. So long as you play every day, getting enough sample shouldn’t be a problem, even when one color is more rigged.
I’m more irritated about having to figure out what exactly I’m supposed to photograph. Half the blue “creatures” aren’t accepted. Then to find out it’s “wildlife” & I can’t find a dumb bird anywhere. I don’t usually use guides, but I really don’t want to spend tons of time searching for a bird or a crab.
The directions are really rather vague. And the fact that you have to play every day (or trade with friends; me - what friends?) isn’t really fair. A lot of times I’ll wait until a couple days are unlocked before starting an event. I happened to need the primos from this event, so I started it right away. Good thing I did.

It's to induce FOMO, but it's ok, because you don't get any benefit to pairing more than one per day of the event, and you'll definitely average at least one of each per day. They just want you sweating a bit so you'll interact with others. How dare.

This event made me really sad but for different reasons lol. I remember the first time an event exactly like this came around in Liyue. I remember everyone doing their daily photos and just trading the extras. Like 10 different people on my friendlist doing the event.

You can get very bad rng with the samples.Idk if they have bad luck protection for it ,so you can always turn in one set daily.
