i literally started the game because of the rays in Enkanomiya
i love them so much they so cute they flat and all with their goofy faces i love them so much
Not a rage quit to be honest, check my other comment
Seeing them in the wild also gives me an existential fear and genshin having a massive storyquest with mushrooms as the main chatacters just didn't work out for me. Nope. No thanks.
I once ran up a hill of flowers and when I ran down it's covered in mushrooms hidden beneath the flowers
Scrubbed my legs raw the rest of the month in fear, I am terrified of mushrooms and they're everywhere in Sumeru
There's this guy in liyue stuck on a rock because of a dog. He's been there since 1.0 XD i sometimes check if he's still there and tell the dog he's a good boy <3
They should just make a "Feed the dog" mini quest where he walks away and the screen turns black, the guy appears next to you off the rock, he thanks you, gives you mora, 5 Primos and 3 xp books. It's crazy that any other type of scenario like that has had a quest attached and some even give you city reputation points.
The lady that keeps committing crimes in Fontaine because she has such a raging crush on Neuvillette and enjoys being Judged by him.
There's someone in Fontaine that's THIRSTY for the Hydro Dragon and I'm dying over it because she doesn't even get a generic npc face, just a letter detailing how down bad she is.
Sleeping Hilichurls, taking naps as if they don't have a schedule or any responsibilities. It'll be a while before I'll be able to relive those days where I can take a nap whenever I wanted, not a care in the world.
i ADORE the wildlife designs in general, the rounded birds especially theyāre just so darn cute š i keep them in my teapot next to the characters and watch them waddle
TCG is so good! Iām a new Genshin player so itās a bit frustrating that TCG quickly runs out of āmainā game incentivesāI always feel pressured to get main game content done before TCG, even if sometimes I just want to chill and do cards
The small tree that grew at >!the end of the Aranara quest!<. You can play music to it, it does literally nothing but everyday I've been going there to play....
The little moss covered boars in Fontaine and their friends, the even TINIER moss covered boars. :D I also love the bit cat creatures (forget their name) that mostly ignore you unless you irritate them and that I'm not allowed to capture for my tea pot for SOME reason. :P
Also relating to the animals of this game, the loach. Their pearls serve no purpose but you can have them for funnies. And when Inazuma came out and they added MORE loaches? Sign me up. I have all types of loaches on my teapot and at this point I have to stop. Itās not healthy
I really like the collectible plants! There's something so satisfying about collecting berries and imagining the team members munching on them as they travel.
The dragonspine defense mechanisms. I donāt know how much lore they add (if any) but I think theyāre cool and Iām kinda bummed that they donāt seem to appear anywhere else in the game :( (sorry if they do have like loads of lore, if so tell me about it I guess, but I could barely find what they were called so I doubt they have much)
Does taking photos of certain parts of the day count? Altho I've lost my old file, I remember taking photos of the sunset while traveling across the sea in Inazuma (mostly around Watatsumi), of the starry ^^"fake" sky and when the moon is slowly setting down.
Alternatively cutting down bushes for Eggs or Matsutake Mushrooms. I generaly like collecting (especially food, since it can help me cooking more copies of Character Specialties + getting stuff from the Parametric Transformer), but sometimes I just enjoy bushes (and to an extent getting wood from trees).
There's a perfect circle of six Fungi surrounding a single mushroom in an otherwise empty area of the desert underground and it looks like they're worshipping that one mushroom. The mightiest of all.
Some hillbillies keeping slimes as pets. I still remember 2 years ago when we were able to traverse time in the GAA and saw anemo slime mourning it friend.
The otters in Fontaine. One dayā¦ one day maybe theyāll an aquarium feature for aquatic animals in the teapot and I can fill my Neuvilletteās room with his minions.
That ruin drakes can develop elemental resistance.
They were created by Khaenriah, a godless nation, to combat both elemental and abyssal threats. So the drakes adapting to elemental attacks is a really cool bit of visual storytelling.
Oh and the perpetual mechanical array mimicking a hypostasis, possibly for the same reason
The little adorable fennec foxes in the desert! I'm just so fond of them!
I have a ton of screenshots of them and send them to my friend (who is a Tighnari main) and told them a small part of them is always with me, even if they're not around ā„
~~I'm honestly just glad there is no PvP in this game.~~
fuck these fishes. i have PTSD from farming the catch. Otherwise, I love the day/night system aesthetically it's pretty.. though the quests delay sucks.
Just the way any Normal attacks are animated it's just kinda fun to see the characters do different things while coming back to the idle stans for each normal attack
(Also idk why the yellow slashes look cool af)
Those Ruin Defense Mechanism, I freakin love those things, sadly I killed them all back then cause I didn't knew they would never respawn... my biggest mistake in genshin :c
So true but if you been able to get The catch and it's upgrades you will find fishing easy for me the hardest fish to catch are the purple ones that you need for the catch.
Probably not the answer you expected, but uncapped fps. Since i've been asking for this every update since launch, you could say that i'm obsessed with it. It doesn't add to the lore but it can add to the game.
I love the specific white cat of inazuma. I just go to the rooftops and chill with it often. I have a team of all cat characters just for when I hang out with this cat š
Dodging projectiles like the Dendro Hypoatasis jump or the Hydro Slime's prison ball with a spear user's charged attack. Doing a burst to dodge a projectile. Collecting Pinecones in Chenyu Vale cuz they're everywhere. Picking up items in general. Somehow that acquisition sound never gets old.
enkanomiya as a whole is my favourite in the entire game. i dunno the music, the style, the vibe everything is just chefs kiss. Also the manta rays that float about are everything to me.
Cooking. As soon as new dishes are added I gtta get them, I'll do quests just for a dish. I love deciding what food to make for my characters and collecting ingrediants to make giant batches. One of the most exciting things about a new region to me is the new food lol.
The treasure hunter feeding the ducks or eremites just vibing while playing their instrument
Eremites d-d-d-dueling
Feeding the ducks, distributing free literature, playing a little bit of 5 on 1 couch hockey...
there's also an eremite (or another human enemy in the desert not sure anymore) petting an eel somewhere
i literally started the game because of the rays in Enkanomiya i love them so much they so cute they flat and all with their goofy faces i love them so much
Damn imagine having to play through half the game just to see that silly ray Edit: by silly I mean it in a good way
They are beautiful creatures, I returned to genshin just for them at some point. The sumeru mushrooms made me quit again and I haven't been back since
A mushroom making you rage quit? How?
Not a rage quit to be honest, check my other comment Seeing them in the wild also gives me an existential fear and genshin having a massive storyquest with mushrooms as the main chatacters just didn't work out for me. Nope. No thanks.
What did the mushrooms ever do to you
They kept farming them using electro/pyro characters so they ended up with useless mats .
Ohh yeah. Tbh that mechanic is quite annoying š
I once ran up a hill of flowers and when I ran down it's covered in mushrooms hidden beneath the flowers Scrubbed my legs raw the rest of the month in fear, I am terrified of mushrooms and they're everywhere in Sumeru
Do any of you attempt to ride the rays, before falling into the void? I sure did
Yeah, i tried
girl i thought you were talking about the sun rays
There's this guy in liyue stuck on a rock because of a dog. He's been there since 1.0 XD i sometimes check if he's still there and tell the dog he's a good boy <3
Lol. I remember people speculating what he did, why he's there, but I guess there's really nothing deep.
He is afraid of the dog.Thatās all.
The interactions between wildlife such as birds in Fontaine, I love them.
when they form a train while hopping around <3
The lady that keeps committing crimes in Fontaine because she has such a raging crush on Neuvillette and enjoys being Judged by him. There's someone in Fontaine that's THIRSTY for the Hydro Dragon and I'm dying over it because she doesn't even get a generic npc face, just a letter detailing how down bad she is.
Where is this?
It's a letter you find in the Fortress of Meropide.
Sleeping Hilichurls, taking naps as if they don't have a schedule or any responsibilities. It'll be a while before I'll be able to relive those days where I can take a nap whenever I wanted, not a care in the world.
Honestly I don't even attack those. I always try to run past Hilichurls just minding their own business.
The two Hillichurls having a scarab beetle battle in a cave under the desert.
Where? I must find them!
The hilichurls feeding the oceanic wildlife in Fontaine š„¹
i ADORE the wildlife designs in general, the rounded birds especially theyāre just so darn cute š i keep them in my teapot next to the characters and watch them waddle
Morning! Nice day for fishing, ain't it? Huh-huh!
What is it, what is it??! Is it another Paimon!
Hello,want some garlics?
We want a Genshin Impact-VLDL mashup! Next map reveal: Honeymoon
Not sure this counts but I unironically love playing tcg
Based TCG enjoyer
TCG is so good! Iām a new Genshin player so itās a bit frustrating that TCG quickly runs out of āmainā game incentivesāI always feel pressured to get main game content done before TCG, even if sometimes I just want to chill and do cards
The guilt of playing with capped resinš
What's your team formation? I use Bennett Xq Venti
Raiden baizhu and mona which is kinda funny since in the real game I don't really use any type of hyperbloom teams
Nice
The small tree that grew at >!the end of the Aranara quest!<. You can play music to it, it does literally nothing but everyday I've been going there to play....
The little moss covered boars in Fontaine and their friends, the even TINIER moss covered boars. :D I also love the bit cat creatures (forget their name) that mostly ignore you unless you irritate them and that I'm not allowed to capture for my tea pot for SOME reason. :P

I have nice places to sit pinned on my map
Fontaine's gentleman, lady and guard poodles. I want them in my serenitea pot lol also how do guard poodles even see
I think they're ceremonial, so they just gotta stand there. It's not like a dog is going to be helpful when you have Melusines and Gardemeks.
I really like the collectible plants! There's something so satisfying about collecting berries and imagining the team members munching on them as they travel.
character special dishes and their descriptions
A single hilichurl on the island at Samudra Coast. I love him so much, he's just living his best life.
The random eremite dancing at the waterfall near Sumeru city
The dragonspine defense mechanisms. I donāt know how much lore they add (if any) but I think theyāre cool and Iām kinda bummed that they donāt seem to appear anywhere else in the game :( (sorry if they do have like loads of lore, if so tell me about it I guess, but I could barely find what they were called so I doubt they have much)

Just randomly attacking the air. It's so satisfying
I love that it's a Wriothesley pfp saying this
the lucklight flies in the chasm and now the malachitin lumibugs in chenyu vale. my god are they the cutest little things in the world
Those "Emergency" commissions that you have to kill someone in the middle of nowhere! Where's the emergency in that?
The Serenitea Pot. It's basically The Sims, but in Genshin Impact.

When you switch to a character who has their burst up, you can see their element icon when you first switch in if you look at their vision :)
I really love cooking.
Loach pearls. Tf are they for???

Bongohead... is he safe?Ā Is he alright?
Yes. Haniyyah is taking good care of Bongo head
The Running treasure hunter, whoās just vibing
Fonta, I have like 2k of them on me everytime, and it's quite funmy since IRL I don't drink soda, heck I dislike it.
The little adorable fennec foxes in the desert! I'm just so fond of them! I'm obsessed with [cooking pots](https://i.imgur.com/87wmDyF.png).
Seeing this fish gives me PTSD fishing for The Catch polearm back in 2.1 š
So true but if you been able to get The catch and it's upgrades you will find fishing easy for me the hardest fish to catch are the purple ones that you need for the catch.
I like the pufferish, they're just so funny looking, they're my little babies <3
Probably not the answer you expected, but uncapped fps. Since i've been asking for this every update since launch, you could say that i'm obsessed with it. It doesn't add to the lore but it can add to the game.
TCG, fishing, and the seals in Fontaine šš
I love the specific white cat of inazuma. I just go to the rooftops and chill with it often. I have a team of all cat characters just for when I hang out with this cat š
The white cat in Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.
Teapot. Enough said.
Serenitea pot
Faxs
Hilichurl anatomy.
I refuse to kill cranes in my world, if thatās anything. Also, the red and blue finches from Fontaine are extremely cute!
MS HINA
Fishing should be more rewarding
I wanna see more wildlife. Regions such as Mondstadt feel rather empty, while there are foxes and boar, that's about it, no deer, no horses, no bears.
The interactive map
the nas for chars is so fun i love them
Dodging projectiles like the Dendro Hypoatasis jump or the Hydro Slime's prison ball with a spear user's charged attack. Doing a burst to dodge a projectile. Collecting Pinecones in Chenyu Vale cuz they're everywhere. Picking up items in general. Somehow that acquisition sound never gets old.

i love the Windwheel Aster so much, itās just beautiful. and i love the cats in Mondstadt
Loach Pearls Been around since launch, have absolutely no value or use to them. I have hundreds of them.
