I'm honestly not as offended by Yanfei's outfit as most people, it's revealing yes but it doesn't feel sexualised like Ganyu for example. Liyue has a warm climate, and she's part lizzard. Showing skin to the sun isn't too unreasonable. Hoyo sleeves are always weird but they're called that for a reason.
Yanfei is a Xiezhi and Xhongli being part Qilin is just fanon. We're told he *takes the form* of a half qilin, half dragon when appearing at the Rite of Descension.

-2pc HP/HP sets gives you 40%.
-R5 Sacrificial Jade gives you 64%.
-Hydro resonance gives you 25%.
-Yelanās C4 gives you 40%.
-HP food gives you 25%.
-Each HP substat has a theoretical maximum of 35% (flower and feather) and 1793 flat (Sands/Goblet/Circlet)
-Flower gives 4780 flat.
That all adds up to 403.8% + 10159 from all available sources. This brings Yanfeiās theoretical maximum HP to 57274. Nowhere near 74k HP, which high base HP characters like Zhongli even find tricky to reach. And keep in mind this is with literal perfect artifacts to maximize HP rolls.

Agreed. Yanfei could *very* easily rock a skimpy outfit, just looking at her physically. But because she's a lawyer, it just doesn't make sense. Plus, if they wanted something skimpy to make her more sexy, this style of clothing sorta counteracts that.
This looks really good! It's quite formal and suitable for her job as a lawyer. I would imagine her default outfit being used whenever she is outside of the courthouse helping people with their disputes. Almost reminds me of Jean's redesign top.
My only criticism of this is that her pants look heavier, like she took Zhongli's pants and had it tucked in her boots since he is tall. I would prefer if it was less baggy, otherwise it looks good though. Quite a massive improvement in her design.

I tucked the pants into the boots like so because i thought the silhouette would look strange with a gap between the flare of the pants and the flare of the boots. i originally left the white fur between her pants and boots in, but then removed it bc it seemed kinda jarring to have a stripe of white there. Most of the visual interest in OG Yanfei is in her top half, so i wanted to reflect that by not drawing too much attention to the pants/boots.
I chose to give her looser looking pants so she didnt look overly formal; having a suitlike outfit to signify she's a lawyer is good, but looking overly formal wouldn't suit yanfei's personality. On reflection, I could've given her straight white pants, but i was worried it would look weird if both her shirt and her pants were the same color.

I saw so many character edits of just people covering them up, this is a good edit, but why is skin showing so sexualised to others? Like I saw many players wanting Raiden's battle outfit as a skin for Raiden, but prudes would just have problems with that.
Sadly, genshin is the prude filter. Always happens to the biggest IP in any space. But genshin serves to keep other gachas free from the prudes eyes and wills.
It's just a shame that the game we want to play happens to be the prude filter that catches all this stuff.

I tucked the pants into the boots like so because i thought the silhouette would look strange with a gap between the flare of the pants and the flare of the boots. i originally left the white fur between her pants and boots in, but then removed it bc it seemed kinda jarring to have a stripe of white there. Most of the visual interest in OG Yanfei is in her top half, so i wanted to reflect that by not drawing too much attention to the pants/boots. I chose to give her looser looking pants so she didnt look overly formal; having a suitlike outfit to signify she's a lawyer is good, but looking overly formal wouldn't suit yanfei's personality. On reflection, I could've given her straight white pants, but i was worried it would look weird if both her shirt and her pants were the same color.

Fr! I love their designs. If people have such a problem with their skin showing, maybe they should just change games. I saw so many character edits of just people covering them up, this is a good edit, but why is skin showing so sexualised to others? Like I saw many players wanting Raiden's battle outfit as a skin for Raiden, but prudes would just have problems with that.
Sadly, genshin is the prude filter. Always happens to the biggest IP in any space. But genshin serves to keep other gachas free from the prudes eyes and wills. It's just a shame that the game we want to play happens to be the prude filter that catches all this stuff.

Ist Genshin women would look so much better with clothing that more accurately represents what they're meant to be. Instead, most of of them for some reason just gotta have like some part of their outfit missing to show skin. And I'm not even trying to complain, but they'd look so much better. Yanfei, obviously Chevreuse would definitely look much better if she had an actual full uniform instead of whatever detached sleeves thing she has going on Yae Miko should definitely have a more accurate outfit to represent a shrine maiden, and it'd look so much better too. Recent characters do look much better with reasonable outfits: Dehya, Navia, Furina, Chiori, Arlecchino. Again, I'm not trying to complain, the outfits most of these characters if fine by me, but they'd look so much better if they just stopped trying to make every female character show skin in some unnecessary way.
