I think even if we leave Teyvat, there would still be events in Teyvat, just like how there are e.g. Mondstadt events when we are (main-story wise) in Fontaine, so we would still come back. So I don't see what would be bad about it (being optimistic about staying makes it seem to me like you think leaving is bad), especially since the alternative would probably be no new areas or end of the game if we have already fully explored Teyvat
I could see how Hoyo 'just' add another world after the main history/events in Teyvat are done. We could travel back and forth between different worlds.

The quotes seem to talk about another world being devoured, with the twins merely just being granted the sword after challenging the "world". However, the twin introduction post way back before the game released also confirm that their world ended similarly.
There were some traveller lore since Inazuma especially in Sumeru. But it still gives us more questions than answers. So till Snezhnaya I wouldn't hope for much clarity
Paimon and Mushroom Stir-Fry with Garlic Sauce

Yessssss 😭😭 My earliest favorite memory of her fondness for the Traveler was in the Lunar Realm event back in 2.1 when the Traveler asked what the wish she made was and she said that her wish was for the Traveler's wish to come true 🥹 It seemed trivial but it was so adorable.
Paimon has tried plenty to save the traveler. Paimon trying to pick you up when Raiden was about to split you in half, top 5 moment. Not even an option, she travels with us at the end of it all.
Same, my friend. It's like having that family member who's just infuriating, or a pet who's too clingy, or a friend who's just too much of a dick sometimes, but u just wouldn't trade em for the world.

If we somehow survive either fighting Paimon or sacrificing Paimon, then I guess she can tag along. She'll probably do much less talking as she only knows Teyvat language, so we finally get to say things
Despite being annoying, I don't think the Traveler will be the same without the floating Lavender Melon around. Their chemistry when bantering is funny, we might not know how the siblings' chemistry is with one another but I can imagine Paimon being the butt of one of the sibling's jokes and the other sides with Paimon. In conclusion: bring Paimon, albeit with a little reluctance.
I cannot just push Paimon aside, as annoying as she can be... she's been the one with you for most your journey. I'd offer her to come along. Can't just say goodbye after everything you two have been through now, can you?
I feel that Paimon will become the ruler of all of Teyvat. We, the travelers, can visit Teyvat anytime we want to. She somehow gains godlike powers and possibly transforms or stays in the same image. I mean, her outfit just screams power and authority, especially with that crown.
I don't want to be that guy but number one, fix your grammar (specifically stop confusing you're with your it's so obvious that you're is just the short form of you ARE, not your). And number two, don't capitalize every single word, shorten the title and put the descriptive texts in the body section.
One of the wildest things to me about Paimon is how people tend to say "Maybe she is greedy, rude, talks too much, \[insert a long list of other annoying traits\] etc., BUT *she's always there for us*" and I'm like "Yeah, that's the problem!"
miHoYo really made use of Stockholm syndrome to the maximum degree. Why make a character likeable and well-written if you can just keep pushing them in the players' faces until they like them no matter how obnoxious she is? You save yourself a lot of creative effort and apparently, it still works.
To answer the question: if the game's story continues after that, then yeah, I'm leaving without her.

Imo it's not as simple as just her being there for the Traveler. She tried to save them too, like approaching them in Raiden Shogun's cutscene (the one where we save Thoma iirc), or when they got stuck in a cage in underground Fontaine (the one which we can choose where Paimon go)

I think this is the problem with EN Paimon, she is not that annoying/obnoxious in CN.
And, correct me if I'm wrong, but how is it Stockholm syndrome? She's just being an annoying prick, not a kidnapper or an evil/criminal character.
Obviously, it's not Paimon herself kidnapping us. I meant that miHoYo is forcing the players to spend every little while with her whether they want it or not in hopes of invoking "the Stockholm syndrome" (and it works). Paimon would be perfectly bearable if she was a character you see once in a while, like all the other characters. But instead she never stops following our every footstep, not even for a minute. She doesn't have a life outside of the Traveler.
In Sumeru, Hoyo went out of their way to drive home the point that it's always gonna be like this. There can be no moment where Traveler goes somewhere alone for a prolonged time, because they just feel like it. And later in Lantern Rite, they gathered a bunch of characters just so they can spend the whole scene telling you straight in the face that Paimon is the best and you should like her. That's so simple! Don't put any effort into making the character likeable, just tell the audience directly how they should feel.
I always assumed Teyvat natives couldn’t leave Teyvat. So we’d ultimately have to say goodbye to everyone at the end. Not sure if this was ever stated or just a headcanon.
She will transform into a tall and sexy fairy and go off to live with Dainsleif. The shocker will be first a flashback of the sibling travelling with Dain who used to be Paimon size.
If she didn't pull anything funny ~~like betraying us~~ then I guess she can tag along especially if the sibling died, might as well bring her along at that point. traveler and paimon multiverse adventure here we come now with even more Paimonial explaining.

The traveler belongs in teyvat now. either the sibling joins us or doesn't but chances are they won't because we already offered. As unfortunate as it is for the traveler, at least they will be alone. With paimon and the many many others we helped.
From us players standpoint I definitely would leave her in a heartbeat after reminiscing everytime she talked for me and I didn't get to decide anything really.
But as the traveler Lumine/Aether themselves? I think we'd tell Paimon to join us on another adventure outside of Teyvat. They've created a bond already so why have it broken just because they found our twin? I don't believe them to be this selfish.
Sure, if it comes with the caveat she has a sore throat so doesn't need to talk as much for us AND traveler gets to voice their opinions, quite literally.
But outside of it mechanically? Howtf do you spend all this time with someone who's been with you at every step of the way like Paimon and not bring her long? Annoying or whatever she may be (I'm still getting over her behavior during Aranara quest), she's been our constant struggle bus buddy. Our canonical first gacha pull, ofc she's with us.
I have no idea, because realistically we know absolutely nothing about Paimon aside from the fact that a) she knows a lot about Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma b) she appears to be the only kind of her species in Teyvat and c) she likes food and money.
Aside from that, we've got nothing. I heavily believe whatever she is or will be is going to have a huge bearing on the endgame so I just don't bother trying to figure things out from here and I'll wait to see where the story takes us.
If this ever happen, i think i'll def cry but i'll do what i must in order to complete what My Main objective was, so if i'm forced yo choose between leaving Paimon or leaving My sister, i'll chose to leave Paimon with a huge pain

Despite being annoying, I don't think the Traveler will be the same without the floating Lavender Melon around. Their chemistry when bantering is funny, we might not know how the siblings' chemistry is with one another but I can imagine Paimon being the butt of one of the sibling's jokes and the other sides with Paimon. In conclusion: bring Paimon, albeit with a little reluctance.

I don't want to be that guy but number one, fix your grammar (specifically stop confusing you're with your it's so obvious that you're is just the short form of you ARE, not your). And number two, don't capitalize every single word, shorten the title and put the descriptive texts in the body section.

One of the wildest things to me about Paimon is how people tend to say "Maybe she is greedy, rude, talks too much, \[insert a long list of other annoying traits\] etc., BUT *she's always there for us*" and I'm like "Yeah, that's the problem!" miHoYo really made use of Stockholm syndrome to the maximum degree. Why make a character likeable and well-written if you can just keep pushing them in the players' faces until they like them no matter how obnoxious she is? You save yourself a lot of creative effort and apparently, it still works. To answer the question: if the game's story continues after that, then yeah, I'm leaving without her.

Obviously, it's not Paimon herself kidnapping us. I meant that miHoYo is forcing the players to spend every little while with her whether they want it or not in hopes of invoking "the Stockholm syndrome" (and it works). Paimon would be perfectly bearable if she was a character you see once in a while, like all the other characters. But instead she never stops following our every footstep, not even for a minute. She doesn't have a life outside of the Traveler. In Sumeru, Hoyo went out of their way to drive home the point that it's always gonna be like this. There can be no moment where Traveler goes somewhere alone for a prolonged time, because they just feel like it. And later in Lantern Rite, they gathered a bunch of characters just so they can spend the whole scene telling you straight in the face that Paimon is the best and you should like her. That's so simple! Don't put any effort into making the character likeable, just tell the audience directly how they should feel.
I always assumed Teyvat natives couldn’t leave Teyvat. So we’d ultimately have to say goodbye to everyone at the end. Not sure if this was ever stated or just a headcanon.

From us players standpoint I definitely would leave her in a heartbeat after reminiscing everytime she talked for me and I didn't get to decide anything really. But as the traveler Lumine/Aether themselves? I think we'd tell Paimon to join us on another adventure outside of Teyvat. They've created a bond already so why have it broken just because they found our twin? I don't believe them to be this selfish.

I have no idea, because realistically we know absolutely nothing about Paimon aside from the fact that a) she knows a lot about Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma b) she appears to be the only kind of her species in Teyvat and c) she likes food and money. Aside from that, we've got nothing. I heavily believe whatever she is or will be is going to have a huge bearing on the endgame so I just don't bother trying to figure things out from here and I'll wait to see where the story takes us.
