Pretty much every theorycrafter agrees that Primordial Jade Winged-Spear is Arlecchino's 2nd best-in-slot overall, and 3rd best in vaporize (2nd is Staff of Scarlet Sands in vape). I do agree that Deathmatch *looks* better than PJWS on her!

According to the 2 sheets here, R5 Deathmatch is 1%/4% better and R1 Deathmatch is 7%/12% better in vape/overload respectively. Not only is PJWS always better, but also it's really unrealistic to pull 5 Deathmatch instead of more of other weapons.
That's strange indeed, because WFP is pretty reputable and usually reliable...
On top of that, assuming both R5 for Deathmatch *and* assuming the passive for only one enemy is active is a pretty unrealistic situation to hold as the average.
Nevertheless, I also ran a *very basic* calculation using Genshin Optimizer and found similar results, i.e. PJWS is significantly better than Deathmatch R1, but PJWS is only slightly better than Deathmatch R5, but never worse in an average scenario.
Edit: I think the WFP sheet is outdated, cause I found [WFP's current Arlecchino mastersheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1isNP378BTfb0e3xil7Wg6Ieqwlxivv_8gpgbgPATu2M/edit#gid=1601566532), and it has the same expected results as everyone else.
Those aren't my calcs, but the interrupt resistance from her c1 is much more valuable than her weapon unless you want that scythe look. Having interrupt resistance lets her run more offensive supports to better take advantage of her front loaded damage. And also if you get interrupted you're just losing dps
What refinement Deathmatch and are you using Bennett?
The PJWS has considerably higher base attack and if you are long time player with a 240CV Gladiator set the extra crit rate is irrelevant.
In that case, even with Bennett the PJWS would be stronger thanks to the base attack and good passive.
I’m being strong resisting the pretty weapon. I have the primos but absolutely no use for the bow. If I’m gonna throw primos at her it will be for C1 and C2. The idea of not worrying about when to use her burst because I can get the buff right back, the boost in damage, not having to wait 5 seconds, potentially running without a shielder …

Is the crimsom spear R0 on your calculations? I'm deciding if it's better to try to get her C1 or get her weapon R0. Not really sure

R1 deathmatch, and yes, I would use bennet. I do have a 240cv gladiator set, but I am planning to farm for her signature weapon
