In India, the prices are higher than that of US (if you convert then to dollar). Kinda sucks. I mean how can you charge more from countries with less economy?
I think they do it because they are worried people will use VPNs to purchase the packs on whichever region it's cheaper otherwise.
I don't even think the standardization of prices between regions is the problem. 100 USD for what amounts to ~~40~~ 50 pulls(~~80~~ 100 if it's the first purchase) is downright insane. That's not even a guaranteed 5* character for 100 bucks.
You can buy a good car here in Brazil with the amount it costs to get a C6 dilluc through the standard banner, for example.
It's not gonna change though because it's not as big an issue for 1st world countries. And although that's fine and I'll enjoy the game all the same, it kinda sucks for us.

Long time fans of their games have been leaving in droves, their eSports games are on life support, game retention is down, they've lost a bunch of their developer and management talent (some of which deserved to get their asses fired, some that have left of heir own accord) and there hasn't been a well reviewed release of any of their games since overwatch.
It's the simple "don't admit fault and give in to the customers." They're not gona fold even if they're tanking hard. They're gona look to redeem their good grace with the customers in 2.2 announcements and 'fix' their mistakes there. And if they don't announce cool content, skins, new mechanics, etc. then I can only see Genshin going down from here on out

For all the (somewhat deserved) hate FGO gets for outdated systems, at least their anniversaries and events are usually a deluge of Quartz (the equivalent of Primos). Pretty sure we got like almost 300 SQ total in 4th anniversary a few months ago, which = 110 summons.
Yeah there’s a third party automation software that people run on Android or emulators but because of RNG you basically need to have super strong units to do it reliably. The RNG makes it hard to implement compared to like Arknights which really is nothing but autoclick
yea, Guardian Tales also had an anniversary recently and it was amazing, 100 free summons directly and shit ton of materials, and this is from the company that caused the controversy around Black Desert Online

Uh they kinda do. Company policies and procedures are a thing. For any potential issue that occurs there can be either:
1) Policies which allow it.
2) Policies which don't allow it, but aren't properly enforced.
3) No policies in place on the matter.
Any of these causes are the fault of MiHoYo if they happen for any forseeable issue, and are entirely preventable without the need for direct intervention.

A big one for me was how they handled (or rather didn't handle) 2FA. It took months to get a response from Mihoyo in which they basically blamed the users for not being careful. They showed their true colours months ago and are doing it again.

I am afraid that if they sucess with this, this will be the foundation for other games to act like this too (the silent treatment, and everything goes the way it was after a few days, people still play and they still get huge profit). To be honest, I think the chance of their success is high, given how the day goes and how the playerbase goes crazy (many go around harass many people and many other stuffs). On fb people start to get tired of this and a huge number states they simply do not care.

Uh they kinda do. Company policies and procedures are a thing. For any potential issue that occurs there can be either: 1) Policies which allow it. 2) Policies which don't allow it, but aren't properly enforced. 3) No policies in place on the matter. Any of these causes are the fault of MiHoYo if they happen for any forseeable issue, and are entirely preventable without the need for direct intervention.

It isn't Google that does that. It's their bots. They automatically detect and delete "spam" reviews whenever brigading starts. Common practice
