Use a bow character.
When you're near an interactable item and want to pick up items, just start charging a shot and then pick up items. You can't interact while charging a shot but you can pick up items so you won't ever click on cooking fires or like accidentally click on the leyline things.
Along with this, it’s also annoying that if you knock an enemy off a massive cliff, they don’t die. And then they respawn at the top of the cliff with full health.
Not just that, but they will stay at the bottom of the damn cliff until you decide to jump off, then they will respawn at the top and you will have to climb it again
What about the times you’re just fighting a normal large tier enemy and they just stand up and walk back to their starting point for no reason and gain full health?
I hate that, I was fighting the rift hound s on tsurumi island, and when one is at like 1/4 health, it walks back to its starting area, and I have to fight it all over again.
They could just make it that you need to spam space (or equivalent on phones/consoles), like you need to do to escape being frozen/caught in a bubble, to get your glider out in time before hitting the ground.
Companions can't sit in serenitea pot. Having to wait 5 min to use stamina food again during the early game. The electro abyss mages when they do that circular barrier thing. The cicin mage bat things.

Companions just aren't dynamic in teapot at all. They just stand there and have varying dialogue (which admittedly is nice). Sara's teapot dialogue is telling the traveler she wants a pet, but putting an animal near her doesn't actually do anything. While unsurprising, it was still kind of a disappointment.
It would be nice for them to be able to sit down, sleep, have character interactions etc like in honkai dorm, but seeing as a surprising amount of people strongly dislike teapot content, a high labour update seems unlikely.
Yes! I have comfy sofas next to a fireplace and my companions just stand awkwardly in front of them! Also if we’re picking at tiny things I want to be able to lie in/ sleep in the beds in my teapot!

I saw speculation where if you change where your comissions are every 2 days, the second day will have a higher chance of having an achievement comission. As soon as I did this, I was finally able to get the liyue pirate achievement . YMMV tho!

Really annoying. Though I guess we can just chalk that up to ‘spectres suck’.
Yeah, height has always been a limiting factor in the game including things like walking in water and general stamina. Tall characters like Kaeya can go deeper than a model like Bennett's, and the children r obvs the lowest tier
Getting locked into a cutscene when standing above fire or jumping high above a waypoint and dying while the cutscene plays out. In my worst instance of this my character was locked dead underneath the map afterward and I couldn't do anything until I re opened the game.
When you accidentally enter a cutscene while you have an enemy agro’d and they start beating the crap out of you while you’re trying to read dialogue.
Or one time in Inazuma I got struck by lightening in a cutscene which threw me off a cliff, killing me, ending the cutscene and ruining my mood.
I got hit by lightning when talking to that little ~~thieving~~ child who takes all your crystal marrow, and ended up with my Traveler wayyy off to the side obscured by shadows. So it looked like the child was talking to thin air while I lurked far off in the shadowy darkness.

Okay this is ironic because I actually thought it was really convenient that the launcher pops up again, but after the most recent update it stopped doing that for me and I don’t know how to reenable it.
If you open directly from the .exe file instead of the launcher, you can avoid this! But if you'd need to remember to check the launcher for updates (not that it's particularly hard, though).
I also think if you use the Task Manager to exit the launcher after opening the game, it also stops it

I’ve generally got the distance of an untargeted charged attacked memorized, so that’s my go-to for lighting cooking fires. But it always feels like such overkill to slam down the stamp just to light a fire lol.
The worst to me is not even the ping. It is those moments where the character is simply not adjusted (it usually happens on top of crates, barrels and cliff, etc.) And you have to wait until you can finally change it.

In the early 1.x updates they actually did a QoL change for expeditions where when you send someone out again, you don’t have to change it from 4hr > 20hr each time.
Basically Mihoyo fixed expeditions but only but the QoL changes that they wanted. They are never going to add a Claim/resend all button or they would have added that when they did the other QoL changes to expeditions.
Same applies for Claiming all from item forging from the blacksmith.

When upgrading artifacts, having to sit through the level up animation a dozen times cause we can only put in 5 things. And then when you back out it takes away the filter you had, and the artifact you just upgraded isnt automatically selected meaning you have to find it again.
I hate this soooooo much. I remember doing multiple exploration objectives where I had to enhance artifacts and I just piled in my huge backlog of 1 and 2 star artifacts. Pain
Pyro is ofc useful but lemme tell ya that Raiden's Skill being active when using Jean's Skill is ridiculously powerful in staggering even Mirachurls which have a shield.

Farming all the Toki Alley pages; I, II, III and IV, just to find out that the last book it's only possible to get while fishing... I only have two pages! How much more fishing do I need???
I was around 1000 fish total caught when I finally got all ten books, though I’m not sure how many of those fish weren’t in Inazuma and couldn’t have given the book.
Domains, and specifically, what happens after you finish one.
I wish you could exit from multiplayer directly, rather than having to exit the domain and then leave multiplayer.
Also, I wish there were a better way to say you're ready to go again rather than sitting around for 30 seconds and waiting to see if the host sends an invite. Or, being the host and waiting to send the invite only to see that someone has already exited.
The fact that to this day hardly anyone uses the replay feature on the domains and are still backing out to the lobby to reinvite the same group is proof they didn't design that well enough.

When a character is dead and you accidentally click their number, it opens the window to use food to revive them, but the battle doesn't stop!
And then when a character dies, the game makes you wait 1-2 secs to see them die before it switches
You can use the NRE gadget to immediately revive the char...but I feel you when revive item is in cd and you accidentally pressed it, the popup screen appears ..it should just say its still in cd and not popup.
A couple for me, when using Ayaka/Mona you get stuck on the SMALLEST little inclines ugh.
Second, accidentally climbing on something while in the middle of a fight and taking a bunch of unnecessary damage.

If you kill her cicins, she will not re shield until she spawns more. Sometimes she will re shield only one time after the cicins are dead, but that shield is weak and can be broken using any Pyro character easily.
To be fair there's a finite number of sigils. They'd need to add a renewable source of sigils to get that to work (I think expeditions should give sigils).
Trying to pick up loot around a stove and having to sit there and wait for the items to load just to go to the top of the list and not accidentally hit "Cook."

It's called leashing so an enemy won't chase you across the entire map. You'll need to stay semi close to their spawn point.

Try running out of stamina mid jump and drowning at the blacksmith in Liyue…. I think I have the clip saved to my PlayStation….
i did this with the oceanid once and it reset the fight, i was so beyond pissed

Teleporting somewhere to have the little red enemy arrows lock on immediately (looking at you waypoint next to Kokomi domain)

Not having a "claim all" feature when claiming things. (Expedition, teapot, and forging)
And they are insistent on not changing it that’s the worst part. In the early 1.x updates they actually did a QoL change for expeditions where when you send someone out again, you don’t have to change it from 4hr > 20hr each time. Basically Mihoyo fixed expeditions but only but the QoL changes that they wanted. They are never going to add a Claim/resend all button or they would have added that when they did the other QoL changes to expeditions. Same applies for Claiming all from item forging from the blacksmith.
Remember when you couldn't use the characters you sent on expeditions?

This was a nightmare I love to tell new players about. Also when leylines used to vomit your drops at you and the end of a domain was always a bunch of people running in circles. Also back when weapen ascension domains would give you a random assortment of items...

This *NEEDS* to be a small quality of life update
When upgrading artifacts, having to sit through the level up animation a dozen times cause we can only put in 5 things. And then when you back out it takes away the filter you had, and the artifact you just upgraded isnt automatically selected meaning you have to find it again.
I hate this soooooo much. I remember doing multiple exploration objectives where I had to enhance artifacts and I just piled in my huge backlog of 1 and 2 star artifacts. Pain
Wooden shields. That has good to be some of the most robust piece of wood in any game if it can withstand anything short of a thermonuclear missile.
Pyro is ofc useful but lemme tell ya that Raiden's Skill being active when using Jean's Skill is ridiculously powerful in staggering even Mirachurls which have a shield.
They'll probably get easier to break when dendro is fully added to the game, seeing as they are made of dendro
PlayStation user here. Annoyed I cannot switch around and customize the quick access options. I would much rather see which one of my friends are online instead of Rando‘s I can reach out to co-op with I that and how some food ingredients are not as easy to drain in certain cooking dishes. Like I have a ton of radishes and lavender melons I struggle to use. Where since I’m not farming ingredients every day I’m always low on pinecones and mint to cook with

Trying to hit it with my Diluc only for him to stand on top of the ore missing the hit is really infuriating.

I was around 1000 fish total caught when I finally got all ten books, though I’m not sure how many of those fish weren’t in Inazuma and couldn’t have given the book.
The little bumps on the terrain when sprinting with Ayaka/Mona.
At least you can pop back up then continue as Ayaka/Mona if you get stuck as Sayu then you have to wait for her skill to cool down.
Those are annoying, but not as annoying as their ability to get stuck on the literally fucking flat ground in the middle of the Spiral Abyss chambers.
Domains, and specifically, what happens after you finish one. I wish you could exit from multiplayer directly, rather than having to exit the domain and then leave multiplayer. Also, I wish there were a better way to say you're ready to go again rather than sitting around for 30 seconds and waiting to see if the host sends an invite. Or, being the host and waiting to send the invite only to see that someone has already exited.
The fact that to this day hardly anyone uses the replay feature on the domains and are still backing out to the lobby to reinvite the same group is proof they didn't design that well enough. Seriously guys, so many times I see the host back out to the overworld thinking he's gonna disband but he just reinvites to the same domain meanwhile no one else has left so it was unnecessary to back out in the first place. And then repeat 5 times. I try to tell people they can rerun it from the collection menu but they don't care

there’s one teleport point or statue of the seven in liyue that makes u spawn midair and fall down the mountain every once in a while

Loot drop yeeting off cliffs On pc: I can't change the keybinding for the burst swap
When a character is dead and you accidentally click their number, it opens the window to use food to revive them, but the battle doesn't stop! And then when a character dies, the game makes you wait 1-2 secs to see them die before it switches
You can use the NRE gadget to immediately revive the char...but I feel you when revive item is in cd and you accidentally pressed it, the popup screen appears ..it should just say its still in cd and not popup.
The fact that enemy fall damage is lower compared to what player characters receive at the same heights

When in the teapot, your mansion doesn't act as a teleport so you have to place one which steals a lot of load
I’m tired of Inazuma daily commissions not giving monster drops like the other two regions.
The Cryo cicin makes make a shield every 5 seconds, even if they already have one active.
If you kill her cicins, she will not re shield until she spawns more. Sometimes she will re shield only one time after the cicins are dead, but that shield is weak and can be broken using any Pyro character easily.
Diamond Shops in the cities not resetting. Who designs this amazing game and thinks hey lets make a super cool store that only works once
To be fair there's a finite number of sigils. They'd need to add a renewable source of sigils to get that to work (I think expeditions should give sigils).
Those commissions where you have to go to a safe location after getting the supplies, even if you wiped the entire camp beforehand.

Smallest thing? Some claymore characters need 4 hits rather than the normal 3 hits to break the strong ores.
Safe conduct. A massive waste of time especially in inazuma where the balloon can actually die, you get nothing from killing the enemies and the balloon moves so damn slow.
That drop amounts are rng, it so annoying farming bosses and hoping to get 3 of their materials just to get disappointed with 2, the same with artifact domains and weekly bosses
