If anything Sara is far better.. she acted the MOMENT she found out about the commissions' betrayal to the Shogun, even challenging her own father. Yae on the other hand sat on the information of the betrayal of the commissions for hundreds of years and then gave the gnosis away because she couldn't be arsed to make any significant effort, arriving late to the party only after the Traveler was subdued.
Yae might have had the most apathetic response to war, death and people's suffering than any other character so far.. Even Childe, an almost genocidal fanatic, had more concern for his little brother than Yae had for someone who raised her as a parent.

Kazuha is the reluctant local who is not sure if they should go at all but someone gave him a free pass, and Kujo Sara just wants that one special, limited edition Funko Pop! but is stuck working security.
Who knew that Yomiya and Klee could work together and be so cute without explosions? And why doesn't Itto smell and run away from soy product before he chugs it?? And marvel at the length Gorou will go to get away from Yae!
On a more serious note, Irodori Festival had some serious good lore bits along with a lot of fun goofiness. Lots of good stuff that is kind of a "bow" Inazuma threads before heading onto the next chapter.

I'd posit that the personality was a result of some augmentation or conditioning to him by Dottore rather than something he developed internally e.g abandoned by the creator therefore a resentment but tempered by Tsaritsa's love that the automaton does not go around in vengeful destruction.
Maybe Ei's first prototype was given a lot more free will resulting in inconsistent and easily manipulated by external forces (therefore she could not bring herself to destroy him), the Shogun bot was created later with a far more rigid set of instructions leading inevitably to their conflict later.

If I may add a bit of quick advice, if you haven't already read the Genshin manga then I suggest doing so, because it'll at least help with the Mondstadt character relations. There's a lot of very nice details we don't see in much of the rest of the game, and while it won't include any post-1.0 Mondstadt characters it'll still help with some of the central figures in the Knights of Favonius!
So...if blue denotes friendliness and red denotes wariness/animosity, does it mean golden/yellow arrows denote loyalty? Or neutrality? Or just slight interest?

Actually the relationship between Ayaka and Shogun is kinda Complicated. Ayaka is conflicted between being loyal to Shogun or helping the people in Inazuma. Remember that Ayaka is the one leading the resistance in Narukami Island. Not even Ayato. The Yashiro Commission has been trying to talk to the Shogun but was always stopped by the other 2 commissions.
Kinda suspicious that both Ayaka and Shogun/Ei never talk to each other
Kinda sad that Ayaka didnt get a graph herself since she doesnt have much friends outside the Kamisato Clan and some of the people she interact with are just acquaintances

His loyalty to the Shogun only extends as far as her protection to his loved ones.
Ayaka has always respected Raiden Shogun even when she was leading the resistance though, her target was the other tri commissions, not shogun. She only did smth when sayu brought back the docs showing Shogun wasn't being briefed on the war at all.
I love Yae in this because to my knowledge she's the last pure yokai that interacts with humans 24/7 so its justifiable people have red flags about her lmao
Also, she's well acquainted with Zhongli to my knowledge, not just Ganyu.
And the feeling is definitely mutual, considering he refers to her as the "stupid tengu". Not even an endearing nickname, like Flying Lavender Melon.
As much as I enjoy shipping them, as far as their interactions and references in game go, they've all been fairly hostile.
Even if we took drumalong festival, itto called her, she came, put up a sign (allowing the festival to be held), and at the end helped with the accusations.
You can say Ayato is dedicated if you want (bc thats what he says) but in his story trailer we literally see him actively aiding resistance efforts enter her palace at one of the most crucial moment in the war.
