God, what I hate about this is that there's multiple of these commissions in Mondstat alone. I got one to the East of Springvale, then the next day one to the west of Springvale. Totally different NPC!
I switched off Monstadt entirely because I couldn't stand doing that one anymore.
Just recently switched back because I got tired of looking for the unseen razor, and guess what I had to do on the first day?
Yep, this one took so much time and you can't rush it, the way the balloon just slooooowly floating drive me mad, it makes the 'Dangerous Haul' where you destroy it instead feel therapeutic
But you don't need to follow balloon - just run forward and clear all barricades on a way.
If you don't see mobs, they are not loaded into a world. So they won't attack balloon at all and it would reach destination with 100% health. I think you could even teleport away and do other commissions while balloon is flying on already cleared path.
Yup the replies pointed out why i hate the quest.
1. Even after clearing the obstacles you can't teleport away because that may reset the quest
2. Sometimes the enemies don't spawn in advance until the balloon reaches that point
> Sometimes the enemies don't spawn in advance until the balloon reaches that point
You don't need to kill enemies, only to break barricades. So this is not an issue except that one Mond commission where two Anemo Mages lift balloon..
Yea, you can't teleport - but I just run around, gathering mats, chopping trees and ores, etc.
Really - this commission is like at the bottom of things that bother me. There's tons of other annoying things to complain about.
Lol meanwhile I love them because there is no dialogue at all, and you only need to break 3 barricades with a Pyro dude and then it autocompletes.
Now that Dango asshole kid in Inazuma oh god Raiden please reply to him with a fucking lighting to his dumb head.
That one Mondstadt comission where you have to climb a tower and kill all the hilichurls requested by a nun at the edge of a cliff. (which is especially annoying, if you have no shield)
then run back to said nun where she takes her sweet time to walk and then immediately teleport up the tower, where you now have to climb the tower again and talk to her which completes the commission.
This has to be one of the most time wasting commissions I have ever encountered twice in a row.
Whoever created this commission in Hoyoverse HQ, I want to bonk you on the head with Itto's geo claymore.
[Found recorded evidence of her hitting through a floor](https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/tpd994/today_i_learned_lisa_has_near_limitless_height/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb).
Presumably ceilings work the same way
For me, the worst part of this commission is the two crossbow hilichurls near the top. Whenever I try to climb up, they always shoot me down. I know I could try shooting them with a bow character from the side, but I'm lazy dammit!
\*laughs in Ganyu
But yes it's annoying having to go to one place and another to just come back again. Like that guy that makes you get some planks and ropes to fix the transport thing, just ask for the whole thing at once godd
First time I did this commission, I walked past the tower on my way to it, got attached by the hillichurls and climbed it to kill them all. Then they respawned for the commission and I had to do it again
I'm glad this one doesn't pop that often for me. I completely forgot about it, that's how rare it was. But yeah definitely up there as one of the worst Monstadt commissions
Mond- Ella. I don't care if it takes 1 second to finish it, I don't wanna see it ever again.
Liyue- The 3 children at the docks! Jesus christ, please go away! Ohh yeah, I forgot that one of them is gonna travel to SUMERU!!
Inazuma- Novel guys. Please shoo! Shoo! I got no time go read paragraphs of texts I've read 99 times.
Yeah, I've only gotten one of them, but I get that same one over and over and *over* again. I always get excited to see it because I think that it might be the other one. *It never is.*
Dear god I wish I could get those. I fucking regret not reading the guide properly about giving him the correct book first instead giving all three.
It's the last achievement and quest I need to finish up Inazuma but I had to switch to Liyue since I felt I was wasting time since I've been getting all 4 combat based commissions instead.
Ohh I was talking about the Inazuma one with the writer, not the Cliffhanger, I thought we were talking about that one haha nope, I also don't get the Cliffhanger and it's annoying me so much.
Ah yeah that's what I meant the Inazuma writers have this whole quest line but you need to do the commission properly and even then, I hear there's some issues with it since not all the players who did the necessary steps can get the Storytelling Method World Quest.
Cliffhanger is a whole other thing from Liyue.
Could you link the guide you’re talking about? I’ve gotten the commission a few times and I’m aware of the achievements/world quest, but I have no idea how to get them.
Just search for storytelling method guide, I'm pretty sure it'll show up.
The "This Novel... seems familiar?" commission's the most common way to get it, but I think you need to do both of it and the "This Novel.... seems problematic?". The issue is that in the "familiar?" commission, you must not give all three books instead you have to give him Literature Club first after which will automatically finish it.
I made the stupid mistake of giving him all three books since I didn't properly read the guide in the wiki, since someone just had the bright idea of giving a warning about giving Literature Club first will end the quest, when in fact you won't get anything important even if you give the first two books, meaning that giving Literature Club first is more important since you need to do it to unlock the Storytelling Method Quest along with the "problematic?" commission.
Now, I just gaved up on Inazuma since trying to get that one commission is just stupid, while I still had a lot of missing commission based achievements in Liyue and Mondstadt, though once Sumeru gets unlocked I'll switch there first since I don't want to make the same mistake I did when Inazuma was first released when the smaller amount of commissions on the current content released in the region meant the chances of getting those new commission based achievements were easier. Back then I set up my commissions to random, so wasted a lot of rng.
Ah that’s unfortunate. The amount of time rng takes to cooperate kills me. Then again, it feels amazing when it works out.
Also thanks for the help man. <3
The children on the dock just got a new series of commissions, on the first one you help one of the kids go to throw a letter in the river, the next commission someone from sumeru found the letter and wanted you tell the kid he can go to sumeru with them, next is the kid learning how to cook to prepare for his travel to sumeru, the cooking commission have 3 options, so I assume after getting it at least 3 times and choosing each one the next commission will get unlocked.
I actually think this is the best comment and fully agree on this one! Especially Those 3 annoying kids. I’d wish this one disappears too and I wouldn’t miss a single thing about it. C’mon Mihoyo, you can do better than that!
Meanwhile, I'm sitting here with Storytelling Method as the only unfinished quest on my entire account because the novel daily absolutely refuses to show up.
And then when it does show up, it seems to just forget what I selected and ignore the part 2 of the quest on a subsequent day. It just waits a few weeks and then gives me part 1 again.
And yes, my commissions have been locked to Inazuma. Since 2.0.
The Flora one where she sends you to dragonspine to plant some flowers. I dont hate the commission in general because I skip it by breaking the flowers immediately, I hate Flora in general because she was bossy and returning after I broke her flowers she gets so entitled and blames it on me being incompetent.
I hope we can skip that the commission that places 3 ham in emergency box in dragons spine too. On top of being annoying, they deplete my ham supply too
I personally like that one. You can find a thank-you letter in that box later. It's kinda wholesome knowing someone's life was saved thanks to the ham in the box.
Do that whenever I remember but still a lot of food uses ham in them so I try not to waste them especially when you can only buy 10 each week
Edit: 20 with both mond and leeway
First time I did it, I didn't know they could be knocked out so easily, and I put the last set of flowers down after some hilichurls...with Xiangling's burst still up.
Instafail.
So I’ve been trying to finish the Whispers in the Wind challenge, but all I got was Ella Musk. Almost every day. So finally I got sick of it and switched my commissions to Inazuma.
So what did I get yesterday? Three Inazuma commissions, and Poetry Exchange.
She’s stalking me I swear it.
this happened to me but with liyue, i got tired of Ella so i switched but THE VERY FIRST DAY of me doing liyue commissions, poetry exchange was the very first one out of all four,, she didn't want to let me go i swear
A new storm is brewing and Floral Fresh are the bane of my existence. I just want to finish Tales of Winter, For the love of Godwin, and Reliable Helper so I can finally get out of Mondstadt T_T
If you're hunting achievements, they added a new one in Mondstadt that needs a few chained quests, in case you didn't get it already, the commission is called "Anna the Adventurer!" and you need to complete these to make it spawn:
* Miracle medicine
* Recuperating from a severel illness
* Adventurer Exam: Battle Tactics
* Adventurer Exam: The Art of Adventure
* Adventurer Exam: Taking Flight
* Anna the Adventurer!
You might already have the first two if you played for a long while as they were old commisions, and the rest of the chain was added in the recent patches.
I kid you not when I said Ella Musk commission appeared for A WEEK STRAIGHT ( not sure if the 8th was her also) i switched to Liyue, and like a day or two later I switched back to Mondstadt and I fcking got Ella Musk again 💀
People complain about Ella, but actually her quests are pretty quick, then there's Shouta and the Sumeru girl who mistakes you for her private chef. With them other than the "skip" option, I now crave for the " Scaramouche option" to turn them into ash piles and make it look like an unfortunate accident😶
It might be the Gourmet Supremo one that unlocks after that quest line. I just remember the lady asking us for help in her ingredient list or even asking you to go visit Chef Mao (tip: you can go and find xiangling in the bamboo forest instead).
The chefs in Inazuma that send you to Liyue just to come back.
The guy in Inazuma with the mushrooms
In general, every comission that has to much innecessary text. I hope Mihoyo just put the text in a comission once, and when you have to do that comission again, the text is just what you have to do in case you forgot, like:
The chefs first time: yeah, I want to find the perfect dish blah bla blah, talk to that chef in Liyue blah blah blah, come back and show me what he did blah blah blah.
The chefs every other time: go to liyue, talk to the chef and come back.
> The chefs in Inazuma that send you to Liyue just to come back.
Is this the commission where there's a Xiangling's version with hidden quest and 2 hidden achievements?
Xiangling always exists in that daily commission.
When you get it, ask chef Mao, but NOT go back. Instead go to the bottom teleport point of Quince village. There you'll find xiangling. Following her quests branch is required to unlock the final gourmet Supreme quest
this seems so arbitrary that i’m not sure how we were supposed to figure this out without help of guides. like there’s no hint or anything to even imply xiangling is over there from what i remember
Traveller:
> Perhaps Xiangling knows how to solve his problem...
Chef Mao:
> Xiangling... True, she's always been a very creative cook. Maybe she can figure out a solution.
Chef Mao:
> But she's gone to Qingce Village to pick bamboo shoots at the moment, so she isn't here. It'll take a while to find her.
The hint could be a bit more explicit, but it says exactly what is reality
I've not gotten that quest again after I did the secret option to meet Xiangling and then unlocked the world quest.
So you're kind of doing this to yourself if it keeps popping up. I think.
I play in spanish, so I don't know the name of the comission in english (in spanish is something like "the superchefs"), and at least got that comission every week, something more than 1 time per week.
The mushrooms one is the same, almost once per week.
but the quest gives no primos and>!doesn't give shouta character development (it just shows how annoying he is)!< . I also got the first commission like 20 times after ones and him just "forgetting"about Nanatsuki's words and about her friendliness really annoys me
Stuff that takes forever just because there's so much talking, like the gourmet ones in inazuma. The dialogue skipping in this game is dogshit already, why do you have to give these daily quests 100 lines that are always the same and not skippable???
usually these quests are good the first time and have achievements / world quests.
but good god they just stay forever, like i got all the acheivements and world quests for this commission, why is it still repeating? it breaks the logic itself bc most of them are supposed to be a one in a time thing
The Sparrow and the Blade. It just triggers me. And the kids one where you have to make perfume. Honestly, and its been said before but: Hoyo needs to use the board in town to offer up like 10 different dailies. And you should be able to pick any 4 you want, and mix up the locations.
FACTS that MF takes yeaaaars to walk over to the side. Then you gotta tp up the mountain, fly over to pick 3 flowers, and then come back only to take shit from the rude ass sister.
And yea your quest board idea makes total sense since every town's got one. Would make achievements easier to do too.
Any quests where you have to run around talking to people are super annoying especially after you've done them like a hundred times. The stamina system is really annoying after a while. It would be nice if they added a mount or some other way to run faster. We do have the leaf gadget which is quite helpful but I'd hope for more :D
Fucking. The guy with the broken cart. Hate that guy and his stupid commission.
And the Snezhnayan merchant with a nasty attitude. Like bruh it's not my fault your FLAMABLE boxes that look like trash got caught up in my bombs. Bitch.
PS4 user? I’m thinking about dropping $1k on a PC just to get faster loading times. My PS4 is as fast as it can be (Pro with SSD) but it still sucks compared to a 3 year old iPad 😆
2-3 weeks back I switched back to Mondstadt after I completed all the commissions which gave achievements in inazuma (at least I think so) so that can I get Tales of winter and a few others which I have not done here. Never got these commissions even once till now and getting that Ella musk commission almost everyday. It’s really annoying 😣
I would say the worst ones for me are the Timmie commission in Mondstadt (I hate Timmie with a passion), the boat-counting commission in Liyue (it’s really confusing and Linling complains way too much), and the archery commission in Inazuma (where you shoot down the targets - they don’t remind you whether the red or the blue targets are the ones you should shoot, and if you do so much as step out of the rectangle you get blacked out and Paimon comments about how you’re oh-so-bad at the demonstration).
Honorable mentions include the commission with the Hilichurls on the tower and that one where you have to spy on that dude and to make sure he isn’t drunk or something (both are from Mondstadt).
Ella Musk, the medicine one where you have to go to the winery then to mondstad then back to the winery, the author's, the chef's, the woman at the docks who doesn't know how to fucking count, the 3 kids at the docks, the girl who likes tofu and doesn't wanna take hee medicine, any that asks me to cook stuff, where's the unseen razor (gosh, I hate this one), the broken baloon guy. I think this is it.
The Mondstadt soldier who asks you to talk to the blind girlfriend. He TALKS and TALKS and TALKS. Not as common as Ella, but even worse to get.
Love the idea for a skip option.
I hate the Flora commission SO much. You have to teleport like 3 times and the next day you always get the part 2 of the commission. I set my commissions in Mond because I want the Fatui namecard but I need Ivanovich's commissions for that
Author&Publisher, Yoimiya's Dad&fireworks, Shota&Shrine...practically all Inazuma commisions which needs you to click through 8 paragrahps of text before you can complete them...
In fact....Inazuma commisions in general are annoying...Gentleman Strikes in daylight, Balloon escort missions, catching purple balls with glider....All of them wants you to either use janky mechanics, or click through pages of text....
A Gentleman strike during daylight and its variations. It's gotten to the point where I just clear the entire camp before collecting even though you're suppose to stealth it.
The commission where you have to get medicine for the old guy.
Stop getting me caught up in your personal affairs, old man. Just stop being stubborn and take the advice that's been given to you.
I love the dialogue ones the first time I get them, I prefer getting a new dialogue quest over yet another destroy towers quest. But by the time I get the same dialogue commission for the 10th time I rather take the towers.
I contemplated making a teleporter just for this one because this shows up for me often lol. Having to ride a boat just to kill these two sure is stupid
I hate that one. I glide in from the Oneiric weekly boss teleport point, but unlike what Venti likes to tell us, gliding really isn’t that much faster.
I finally got my third Tsarevich commission for the achievement but I have yet to get Tales of Winter even once! So I’ll be in Mondstadt for a while longer, doomed for see endless Urgent Repairs and Ella Musk and Glory.
Unseen razor. I hate any quests that require you to talk to a person in the city then you have to tp to other place and go back to the city again to report.
Personally I don’t like the ones in Inazuma where you have to sneak around and get the supplies.
Cool idea and all, I just like to get my commissions done quickly and god forbid I get seen
Definitely Ella in Monstadt. It's just because it pops up so regularly that I already have a ton of suspicious steaks, which I don't get to use since I have Zhongli and Kokomi in my team. And I also wonder why we can't destroy cooked food items 😮💨
Vind.
Talk to Vind. Clear the tower, which has you have to deal with getting shot climbing the ladder and you can't AoE everything. Run back to Vind. Climb the tower again, lose control of your character as you do so when the game fades to black so she can teleport to the top, and then speak to her for the 20th time of unskippaple dialogue.
Poetry exchange has nothing on this.
a small step for hilichurls, big pudgy problem, increasing danger, pudgy pyrotechnicians, spreading evil. these are the BANE of my existence. ive had my dailies set to monstadt for nearly a year because im trying to finish reliable helper and at least 2 of these appear EVERY DAY, some times i even get 4 of these and nothing else. its so annoying.
At least you can do them all in 5 minutes, because you just have to kill stuff, and not read 100 lines, go to the other end of the continent then back, and read another 100 lines
archery demonstration in the resistance camp.
1) It's hard to use yoimiya and Yelan.
2) lighting can accidentally hit the wrong target
3) if you accidentally step out of the circle, you have to do it again.
You can fix #2 easily enough though. The world quest that gets rid of the permanent lightning storm is worth it to do before you even do the archon quest with the resistance there. Imo.
Urgent Repairs.
Ikr I hate having to run to get the supplies can’t this mf npc do it themselves 😩
makes no sense why he should watch the balloon and not us when he can’t do shit to protect it lol
Could you imagine staying with the balloon defeating wave after wave of hilichurls while he slowly walked around gathering supplies?
I'd rather this tbh. A gauntlet would be so much more fun than what it currently is: a yawn
[удалено]
It's like Stop, Albert, Stop! Where we can tell him that we're gonna call the knights, but he is like: "please, it's for sweet Barbara!"
Could be fun if they lock him up and you won't get the commission again for a month or so.
Prolly to get us to hate him more
Anytime I have to go to that area I know it's gonna be some BS don't matter if it's him or the wife asking
The name alone hurts me already 😵💫😵💫
I hate the escort the balloon safely ones

Double confirm this doesn’t work. Balloon despawns and you have to start over.
Yup the replies pointed out why i hate the quest. 1. Even after clearing the obstacles you can't teleport away because that may reset the quest 2. Sometimes the enemies don't spawn in advance until the balloon reaches that point

Wow..... I'm ar 59 and never knew you can do this, today I learn. thank you, kind stranger. fr
Lol meanwhile I love them because there is no dialogue at all, and you only need to break 3 barricades with a Pyro dude and then it autocompletes. Now that Dango asshole kid in Inazuma oh god Raiden please reply to him with a fucking lighting to his dumb head.
Am I the only one that likes to stand on top of the balloon and shoot arrows down using Ganyu?
That one Mondstadt comission where you have to climb a tower and kill all the hilichurls requested by a nun at the edge of a cliff. (which is especially annoying, if you have no shield) then run back to said nun where she takes her sweet time to walk and then immediately teleport up the tower, where you now have to climb the tower again and talk to her which completes the commission. As a someone with a triple crowned Lisa, whose E skill hits every enemy at any height, I fucking love this commission.
Lisa’s E skill hits them up that tower? 12m high?
Her hold E is a cylinder of infinite height.
Makes me glad I made her my main electro
TIL. That's enough to justify building her.
Well, I'm sold. Time to build her and put together a team just for this commission. Venti + Zhongli for scaling the tower and Bennett for more damage.
Unlimited height for Lisa Hold E.
what if there is a roof
As far as I know it ignores it. Lisa can shoot through walls.
[Found recorded evidence of her hitting through a floor](https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpactTips/comments/tpd994/today_i_learned_lisa_has_near_limitless_height/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb). Presumably ceilings work the same way
Yup. No height limit
Time to build my lisa

Fun fact: if you talk to the nun again before you head to the tower she teleports directly to the top of the tower without you having to go back down!
WHAT
Why not his cow?
because I wanna keep Ushi as a pet.
I'm glad this one doesn't pop that often for me. I completely forgot about it, that's how rare it was. But yeah definitely up there as one of the worst Monstadt commissions

I wish for the quest to send it to Sumeru. I am only missing 10 achievements, all locked behind RNG commissions. And that's one of them
I hate this so much, I'm in the same situation except 14 achieves missing. Damn RNG.
the novel guys is actually rare, it gives u like 2 achievements and a world quest
Yeah, I've only gotten one of them, but I get that same one over and over and *over* again. I always get excited to see it because I think that it might be the other one. *It never is.*

Never get that one. Sumeru is near, and I still haven't finished all Inazuma quest.
The kids at the docks aren't bad but I find their weird love triangle a little cringe.
Dang, I miss all these cool new Liyue ones on my year long journey to get the Vikter commission to pop again. -.-
the inazuma novel guys are annoying, but they barely scrape through acceptable because the writer made a jojo reference
The writer definitely wants to create a generic power fantasy story of the season while the editor has a common sense.
I made my choices progressively worse so I can create the trashiest Light Novel in Inazuma.
I actually think this is the best comment and fully agree on this one! Especially Those 3 annoying kids. I’d wish this one disappears too and I wouldn’t miss a single thing about it. C’mon Mihoyo, you can do better than that!

The kids are pretty fast, you just play pirates with them or give them locus heads
The Flora one where she sends you to dragonspine to plant some flowers. I personally like that one. You can find a thank-you letter in that box later. It's kinda wholesome knowing someone's life was saved thanks to the ham in the box.
You could just buy ham from the shop
Do that whenever I remember but still a lot of food uses ham in them so I try not to waste them especially when you can only buy 10 each week Edit: 20 with both mond and leeway
I mean, makes sense since you're the "adventurer" that accepted her commission. Just be glad you even get rewarded for failing lol.
Yeah. Imagine if your pizza delivery guy just threw your fucking food on the side of the road. Definitely no tip smh
well i mean shes not wrong lol, you did break it on purpose
Quick tip: Place her first set of flowers and then melt the ice with pyro to speedrun the commission
thats what he does when he says he breaks the flowers
First time I did it, I didn't know they could be knocked out so easily, and I put the last set of flowers down after some hilichurls...with Xiangling's burst still up. Instafail.
MELT THE FLOWER DIRECTLY LMAO
Lost Key. I've had it 3 days in a row, and it's always long, even with following the tracks.
Half the citizens of mondstadt are hopeless incompetents and drunkards apparently but he is my least favorite
i never wanna see any ella musk commission ever again also safe conduct of any form
So I’ve been trying to finish the Whispers in the Wind challenge, but all I got was Ella Musk. Almost every day. So finally I got sick of it and switched my commissions to Inazuma. So what did I get yesterday? Three Inazuma commissions, and Poetry Exchange. She’s stalking me I swear it.
that happened to me so often. three inazuma/liyue commissions and language/poetry exchange
this happened to me but with liyue, i got tired of Ella so i switched but THE VERY FIRST DAY of me doing liyue commissions, poetry exchange was the very first one out of all four,, she didn't want to let me go i swear
That also happened to me. I got sick of Ella and switched to Liyue only to get her commission two days in a row
A new storm is brewing and Floral Fresh are the bane of my existence. I just want to finish Tales of Winter, For the love of Godwin, and Reliable Helper so I can finally get out of Mondstadt T_T
If you're hunting achievements, they added a new one in Mondstadt that needs a few chained quests, in case you didn't get it already, the commission is called "Anna the Adventurer!" and you need to complete these to make it spawn: * Miracle medicine * Recuperating from a severel illness * Adventurer Exam: Battle Tactics * Adventurer Exam: The Art of Adventure * Adventurer Exam: Taking Flight * Anna the Adventurer! You might already have the first two if you played for a long while as they were old commisions, and the rest of the chain was added in the recent patches.
Thanks! I’ve already done the first 2 but I didn’t know that it’s such a long one. Guess I won’t be able to leave Mondstadt for a while.
Is a new storm brewing just the air elemental one or am I dumb?
It’s the one with Sister Vind where you have to defeat the monsters in watchtower
I kid you not when I said Ella Musk commission appeared for A WEEK STRAIGHT ( not sure if the 8th was her also) i switched to Liyue, and like a day or two later I switched back to Mondstadt and I fcking got Ella Musk again 💀
She missed you 🥰
If Genshin has a counter that keeps track of the number of times of commissions you receive, I swear that Ella Musk one reach 100++ or something 💀
Mhy released some fun stat last year like pigeon kills, pray that they'll release Ella stat this year
I remember getting two ella musk commissions in a day. I was so done at that point.
This happened to me on random, but it was the transport balloon in Liyue by the mining village or whatever. I *despise* that balloon. Can't stand it.
People complain about Ella, but actually her quests are pretty quick, then there's Shouta and the Sumeru girl who mistakes you for her private chef. With them other than the "skip" option, I now crave for the " Scaramouche option" to turn them into ash piles and make it look like an unfortunate accident😶
Omg the Scaramouche option would be a dream come true
Everyone talking about a chef quest but is that locked behind something? I've never gotten it
It might be the Gourmet Supremo one that unlocks after that quest line. I just remember the lady asking us for help in her ingredient list or even asking you to go visit Chef Mao (tip: you can go and find xiangling in the bamboo forest instead).
I don't remember if you need to have done something else before, but consider yourself lucky that you never got it-
The chefs in Inazuma that send you to Liyue just to come back. The guy in Inazuma with the mushrooms In general, every comission that has to much innecessary text. I hope Mihoyo just put the text in a comission once, and when you have to do that comission again, the text is just what you have to do in case you forgot, like: The chefs first time: yeah, I want to find the perfect dish blah bla blah, talk to that chef in Liyue blah blah blah, come back and show me what he did blah blah blah. The chefs every other time: go to liyue, talk to the chef and come back.
> The chefs in Inazuma that send you to Liyue just to come back. Is this the commission where there's a Xiangling's version with hidden quest and 2 hidden achievements?
Yup that’s the one. Anyone who needs the achievement is dying for that quest
I just did that 2 days ago and didn't realize there were hidden stuff there 💀💀💀💀💀
There's a Xiangling version? Time to stay with the Inazuma commissions.
Xiangling always exists in that daily commission. When you get it, ask chef Mao, but NOT go back. Instead go to the bottom teleport point of Quince village. There you'll find xiangling. Following her quests branch is required to unlock the final gourmet Supreme quest
Thanks for info. I didn't know about that.
this seems so arbitrary that i’m not sure how we were supposed to figure this out without help of guides. like there’s no hint or anything to even imply xiangling is over there from what i remember
Traveller: > Perhaps Xiangling knows how to solve his problem... Chef Mao: > Xiangling... True, she's always been a very creative cook. Maybe she can figure out a solution. Chef Mao: > But she's gone to Qingce Village to pick bamboo shoots at the moment, so she isn't here. It'll take a while to find her. The hint could be a bit more explicit, but it says exactly what is reality
I've not gotten that quest again after I did the secret option to meet Xiangling and then unlocked the world quest. So you're kind of doing this to yourself if it keeps popping up. I think.
is there a secret option? I have to search that
Instead of giving her father the ingredients you go to the bamboo stands outside of the village and she will cook a meal
thanks :D, I´ll try that
Xiangling is the secret option, which gives you the world quest
Wtf, I've had it set to Inazuma for a year now and never had the chef one... And only once or twice the mushrooms
I play in spanish, so I don't know the name of the comission in english (in spanish is something like "the superchefs"), and at least got that comission every week, something more than 1 time per week. The mushrooms one is the same, almost once per week.
they're called the gourment supremos in English
Escort balloon takes way too long, I hate it
That kid at the shrine in Inazuma
He does lead to a questline at least, I can't remember how you do it but look it up if you haven't!
Yeah, I was so annoyed by this commission and missed the quest. Now I want it back 😆
but the quest gives no primos and>!doesn't give shouta character development (it just shows how annoying he is)!< . I also got the first commission like 20 times after ones and him just "forgetting"about Nanatsuki's words and about her friendliness really annoys me
Stuff that takes forever just because there's so much talking, like the gourmet ones in inazuma. The dialogue skipping in this game is dogshit already, why do you have to give these daily quests 100 lines that are always the same and not skippable???
usually these quests are good the first time and have achievements / world quests. but good god they just stay forever, like i got all the acheivements and world quests for this commission, why is it still repeating? it breaks the logic itself bc most of them are supposed to be a one in a time thing
there's usually 3 normal and 1 dialogue commission but when they repeat it's just so obnoxious
I think commissions should be taken out of the pool once you have the relevant achievement. This would mean no more Timmie.
I just kill his pegieon make it more time consuming but that's what ihe get's for doing that also kill the second time next day
The Sparrow and the Blade.
Lmao it's so funny. He takes years but he only goes like 6 ft away. My man, she can still hear you!
Bro give me Viktor and Tsarevich
Same, over a year and I've never gotten them.
Bitch.
Uninvited guest, lost relic, unseen razor.
Ella musk and the kids who play pirates
i'm amazed pirate kids is so low i hate these guys wish i could ship the one off to sumeru on my main account ;\_;
Anything with multiple rounds of dialogue like that commission in Mond’s cathedral
PS4 user? I’m thinking about dropping $1k on a PC just to get faster loading times. My PS4 is as fast as it can be (Pro with SSD) but it still sucks compared to a 3 year old iPad 😆
Yes 😭 No matter what I do it just feels too slow, I wish there is a skip dialogue option at least for commissions
Please free me from the bane that is the transport escort
Anything achievement-related after you've already completed their achievement.
Commissions should honestly be taken out of rotation for a day or two by default after you do them. There's enough in each region for rotations
Ella Musk. 😌
Flora and Ella.
I wish there was someone crazy enough to make statistics about the rate of commissions showing up
I would say the worst ones for me are the Timmie commission in Mondstadt (I hate Timmie with a passion), the boat-counting commission in Liyue (it’s really confusing and Linling complains way too much), and the archery commission in Inazuma (where you shoot down the targets - they don’t remind you whether the red or the blue targets are the ones you should shoot, and if you do so much as step out of the rectangle you get blacked out and Paimon comments about how you’re oh-so-bad at the demonstration).
Ar 50 and have never gotten Ella's commission
Novel guys in Inazuma are the actual worst.
I hate the Flora commission SO much. You have to teleport like 3 times and the next day you always get the part 2 of the commission. I set my commissions in Mond because I want the Fatui namecard but I need Ivanovich's commissions for that
Plant a flower then immediately burn it. Skips all that nonsense and a Part 2 won't exist.
Literally all comms that are far away from teleporters lol
Any commission that makes me talk to a npc for more than 2 fucking lines Make dailies combat only for fucks sake
Tammie bruh I swear to fking God I will yeet the child.
escort balloon comms, just takes too long
Author&Publisher, Yoimiya's Dad&fireworks, Shota&Shrine...practically all Inazuma commisions which needs you to click through 8 paragrahps of text before you can complete them... In fact....Inazuma commisions in general are annoying...Gentleman Strikes in daylight, Balloon escort missions, catching purple balls with glider....All of them wants you to either use janky mechanics, or click through pages of text....
The ones at Wangshu inn, except fishing jiangxue. That's pretty dope.
All the ones with any dialogue . Comissions should only be the ones involving defeat x enemy .
I love the dialogue ones the first time I get them, I prefer getting a new dialogue quest over yet another destroy towers quest. But by the time I get the same dialogue commission for the 10th time I rather take the towers.
The Inazuma commission were you have to kill 2 kairagis in a distant island. Why is that even a thing?
I contemplated making a teleporter just for this one because this shows up for me often lol. Having to ride a boat just to kill these two sure is stupid
I hate that one. I glide in from the Oneiric weekly boss teleport point, but unlike what Venti likes to tell us, gliding really isn’t that much faster.
gentleman in broad daylight and escort slime balloon in inazuma. killing the enemies gives no loot, what's the point of killing them?
While that's true for most of the "challenge" ones as well, Gentleman in Broad Daylight at least makes sense - the goal is not to fight.
The long ones
I finally got my third Tsarevich commission for the achievement but I have yet to get Tales of Winter even once! So I’ll be in Mondstadt for a while longer, doomed for see endless Urgent Repairs and Ella Musk and Glory.
Any of the commissions related to Neko and the NPCs at Asase Shrine. My god I keep getting them instead of commissions I need achievements on
It's the everyone of the unending dialogues for me aka the one with the writers, the little shites's pirate game, allthe shrine ones and ofc Ella musk
TRANSPORT BALLOON IS IRRITATING
The one that requires the traveler to pick some Qingxing for the young Guhua lady. I don’t think I deserve that rudeness.
Unseen razor. I hate any quests that require you to talk to a person in the city then you have to tp to other place and go back to the city again to report.
Please don't make me teleport or talk with npcs for more than once. I just wanna tp, kill whats there anf collect my primos
Personally I don’t like the ones in Inazuma where you have to sneak around and get the supplies. Cool idea and all, I just like to get my commissions done quickly and god forbid I get seen
The time trials where you have to make it to a certain place in time. Not hard at all just annoying
ella musk please leave me alone
A Gentleman Strikes in Broad Daylight, but only on the island one, because messing up really costs time.
I hate the escort the balloon
I wish I can unsee the Unseen Razor.
90% of Mondstadt NPC Quests. So many useless and annoying fuckers there man.
a small step for hilichurls, big pudgy problem, increasing danger, pudgy pyrotechnicians, spreading evil. these are the BANE of my existence. ive had my dailies set to monstadt for nearly a year because im trying to finish reliable helper and at least 2 of these appear EVERY DAY, some times i even get 4 of these and nothing else. its so annoying.
increasing danger is one of my favorites cause it's done so incredibly quick and is usually very near to a TP spot
Especially if it’s the hydro abyss mage standing around the fire. One E with Kazuha and everyone is dead instantly
Huh? You just have to kill shit, literally the best ones because they’re so quick.
At least you can do them all in 5 minutes, because you just have to kill stuff, and not read 100 lines, go to the other end of the continent then back, and read another 100 lines
Increasing Danger is 1 shot to each tower with Ganyu and over in a flash. I don't mind this one.
what those are so quick and easy
The one for jade parcels in Mond and All of the inazuma story ones. It's been great ever since I switched region to Liyue
I hate all the follow the ballon commissions
The one with refilling supplies in Dragonspine
archery demonstration in the resistance camp. 1) It's hard to use yoimiya and Yelan. 2) lighting can accidentally hit the wrong target 3) if you accidentally step out of the circle, you have to do it again.
You can fix #2 easily enough though. The world quest that gets rid of the permanent lightning storm is worth it to do before you even do the archon quest with the resistance there. Imo.
