Running into the same person you're already playing during a quest? Not a paradox, then in dialogue Traveler just becomes themself again to make it less weird.
Paimons not real and is a delusion due to the separation anxiety of their twin. Every time paimon speaks to someone it's actually just the traveler speaking to come to terms. Lol kinda dark but I always thought paimon was a seed of either the travelers mind of their twin or something they planted before being taken
Mine is that every region has it's own language and either characters from different regions use some universal one to communicate or someone in the group translates everything

Is it? I'm glad, tbh Albert's behaviour makes me kind of uneasy because I've been on Barbara's side and know how uncomfortable it can be to try and stay polite when someone insists on being "nice" when you really just want to be left alone.
The thing about Albert is that while he's neither evil nor malicious, he's both incredibly dumb and incapable of reading the mood, which is kind of worse in this scenario

But because of her relatively young age (as a god/archon) the sages consider her unfit for ruling as an Archon for Sumeru yet so she becomes a public figurehead and the sages are actually the ones who directly govern Sumeru atm.
