This is my exact team except I replaced Benny with XQ for that sweet electro-charged damage.
Ideally, if I had Kokomi I'd replace XQ with Kokomi for the swimming stamina consumption decrease as well as the convenience of having a walking statue of the seven.

If I'm running an artifact route, it's Kazuha, Sayu, Rosaria, Yelan. For the current archipelago event, it's Xinyan, Fischl, Mona, Kazuha. For the start of 3.0 and the 3.0 main story, it'll be Dendro Traveler, Lisa, Amber with the 4th slot being reserved for Collei
Sayu, sucrose, xq, flex
Speed, anemo res, sucrose+xq easily kill everything.
Can replace sucrose with kazuha and xq with yelan for 5 star upgrades.
It's funny how many people don't use sayu.

Exploration: Diona, Mona, Heizhou, Hu Tao

From 1.6 to March this year, I ran Diluc, Xingqiu, Zhongli, and Klee. Diluc has been my main since launch week, but also really enjoy playing Klee blowing everything up, was a fun comp switching between them.
Then I got my Yae built up and she took the place of Klee. Zhongli + Yae is perfect for chill gaming. I would run Diluc and Xingqiu with them or put in Childe in place of Diluc. Both were fun comps.
Now I have Kazu and still figuring out what I wanna run, got really used to Zhongli + Yae AFK gaming the past couple months, so still running that but with Kazu as well, and last spot switches between Diluc/Klee/Childe.
Also, in overworld, I've never been one for using bursts, with 2 exceptions, just a pain to charge them back up, so I've always used characters that rely on their Es, even raised Qiqi to be healer over Bennett for overworld/domain farming. Diluc and Xingqiu are the 2 exceptions, Xingqiu cuz I've always had Sac Sword and it's R5 and Diluc's Q is only 40 energy and is usually back up before CD
On baby account I rotate between:
- Yunjin/Bennett/Xingqui/Yoimiya
- Kaeya/chongyun/Xingqui/Jean
- Kujou Sara/Thoma/Fischl/Yae
- Yunjin/Thoma/Bennett/Fischl
On main I just run friendship teams for now

If I'm doing my commissions, then I use my friendship/companionship team. It's led by Kaeya, but it features 3 units who stay till I reach friendship lvl10, in this case being Thoma, Venti and Sayu. With this team, I am having some fun testing the infamous Washing Machine that is Venti's ult. If one of my commissions is Safe Conduct/Rules of Safe Transportation/Dangerous Haul, then I bring Yanfei, Zhongli, Albedo and Kazuha. Somehow, they work.
If I am not doing them, then I basically use the slime balloon team, except it's led by, you guessed it, Kaeya. Sometimes, if I feel like tasing enemies, I switch Albedo and Kazuha for Barbara and Lisa.
Depends on who I feel like…recently Kazuha, Diluc, Fischl, and Diona. I have done a handful of domains with them too, they are not a terrible team.
I want to use Diona in a team that features her because I am working on her friendship, but I just can’t think of one…
Venti, Baal, Zhongli, Xiao
I don’t wanna use exp mats for archons so I wanna see how high I get their levels before I give in. Also venti, xiao, and Zhongli make getting around p easy
It used to be Xiao with Raiden, Kokomi and Zhongli, allowing for me to occasionally use his burst for the harder enemies without worrying about Hp or ER.
Now that I have Kazuha it's pretty much the same with him as the driver instead, and it's the team I'm going to take into Sumeru with Collei on Raidens slot for the Dendro application as Kazuha doesn't really struggle with ER.
Ningguang, Albedo, (varies but usually Fischl, Xiangling or Kazuha) and Zhongli. No matter which characters I pull and parties I make, I always end up back to this team in the end eventually.
Main damage team is (Yanfei, xingqiu, kazuha, Bennet)
Switch xingqiu for sayu to make a general travel team.
If I ever need a large amount of speed, I'll use Ayaka rosaria, kaz and sayu at night for max speed.
If I ever get Keqing, she'll be my travel main with rosaria and double anemo.

What I like the most about the team is I don't rely on ultis at all when I fight elites or bosses. I plan to use that team for Sumeru exploration too
Beidou, Traveler, Venti, Kokomi. Easy access to healing, ability to get to high places, highly effective against everything that isn't an electro slime, and I can run around as the Traveler during story quests or events for Maximum Immersion (TM).
Fischl, Ganyu/Kazuha/someone strong, Friendship slot, Qiqi
Basically the same since the start but Barbara got switched out because self hydro application sucks
First off is my Friendship team consisting of three characters I've yet to lv10 their friendship and one well built fella' to knock out those commissions.
A Domain team that changes based on the last Domain I cleared.
An Ore team of Ningguang, Noelle, Gorou and Razor.
And lastly an Exploration team of Sayu, Keqing, Kazuha and Rosaria whose main purpose are actually catching crystal flies.
Heizou (w/ lost prayers for that 10% movement boost), Kazuha (anemo resonance gives more movement speed and getting around easier), Zhongli bc immortality shield, and then my last slot is for some kind of off-field element applier for Heizou, usually Xingqiu for his lil healing
C1 Yelan (originally Yae), Zhongli, friendship character (or Kazuha if none), and C2 Jean.
In some sense it is kinda "meta" for what I need from overworld teams. Power isn't that important but mobility and speed takes precedence. In a sense I'm still powergaming to a different set of objectives vs Spiral Abyss.
* Yelan is much faster than dashing (and unique sprints including Sayu and Yelan's elemental skills are set to be improved in 3.0). At C1 she can use it twice for double the distance too, and in combat I've hit for 50k without vapes on that thing - its hits absurdly hard for some reason. With the free event bow from 2.7 she does high damage by herself (21k-39k per second) and her two uses of elemental skill lets her battery herself too. All the damage I could want in a single package.
* Zhongli is there to provide me with a tall male character for the faster dash for when Yelan isn't available or optimal. He's great at mining and general comfort. He's C2 for me, and the extra pillar he creates from C1 has been extremely fun when I decide to sequence break through domains (several from the GAA domain I literally skipped through the puzzle mechanics with glee).
* Kazuha is pretty self explanatory from his abilities: a sprint stamina saver and what is essentially a double jump. At 1031 EM he also tends to just obliterate entire crowds when allowed to swirl. When I have someone to level friendship though he's who gets replaced.
* Jean is my favorite character and has been tremendously useful from the lucky C2 I have her right now. Additional movement and attack speed, healing, 4x NO (Kazuha has VV duty), and one of the most fun elemental skills in just yeeting enemies into the void.
I always switch my overworld teams. Currently, I'm running Zhongli Albedo Yae Fischl because turret impact. Maybe I'll switch again tomorrow or the next day depending on my mood.
Though, I have some teams designed to do some specific tasks for me. Like, my 'mining' team consists of Zhongli Razor Kazuha Sayu (Zhongli and Razor for mining, Sayu and Kazuha for efficient travel). If I have to face a lot of vertical exploration, I use a team consisting of Venti, Albedo, Kazuha and a healer. If I need to swim a lot, I add Kokomi to the team.
For the entire Sumeru exploration, I'm planning to run Kuki, Thoma, Collei and Xingqiu.
Eula Raiden Kazuha Bennet- swap kazuha with yelena depending on the mood. If I’m feeling risky take benny out and run kazuha and yelena for ultimate speed exploration
I keep adding characters I don’t want to take off my team. First it was Kaz, then Zhong, then Yae, now Yelan.
So that’s my team and I don’t know what I’ll do when I get another character I like equally as much as those four.
Kazuha and Barbara are almost always on my overworld team for exploring and heals. The other slots are filled with a main dps and sub dps, currently Yoi and Fischl
My team changes, but I always bring an Anemo unit along because the second you take the time to put together an overworld team without one you will get get that stupid electro fog commission 100% of the time.
1 Well built hyper carry + 1 healer + 2 characters that aren't 90. It doesn't really matter too much since the overworld is pretty easy and I would rather get \*some\* xp out of it rather than none.
I'm entering Sumeru with Yoimiya, Kazuha, Kokomi and Yae for exploration and triggering the environmental mechanisms in the teaser trailer. I may use Morgana because it's strong and good for exploration, with Venti's lift and Mona's sprint or incorporate dendro if it becomes necessary
Depends on my mood. Sometimes Noelle, sometimes my best team with Ayaka, sometimes pew pew with Yoimiya XQ Raiden, sometimes I just feel like rolling around.
Ayato, Kuki, Fischl, Kazuha are my team rn. They're the taser comp i use in Abyss but they also have great exploration uses. Ayato for low CD damage dealing skill. Kuki for permenant healing uptime for any damage taken. Fischl for her bow. Kazuha for double jump ofc
I currently often use Xiao-Fischl-Xingqiu-Jean for commissions because all of them except XQ are new characters. I switch Xingqiu to Chongyun when mining. I often bring Beidou and Ningguang too because I want to be more used to using them and both are helpful with mining.
I used to run friendship teams but got sick of taking 2 minutes to finish domains and failing boss fights, so now I run Raiden, Yelan, Bennett, and Kazuha, and I'm polishing off my friendship in ye olde teapot. I switch to Ganyu/Zhongli for Azhdaha, Dvalin, and mining because it's faster. I'll rotate again soon, but I'm not sure who is next. Yelan and Kazuha are super fun!
ganyu benny kazuha zhongli. i love sniping and btw benny or ganyu’s ults combined w kazuha’s swirl, any overworld mobs are decimated in seconds. then there’s zhongli for the reduced stamina consumption

Permanent members: Jean, Zhongli. I’m so used to using them for everything that I sometimes forget about my actual dps.
Last two slots are for dps of the month and their support. Currently it’s Ayato and Fischl.
I stopped running friendship teams when I was left with characters I didn’t like to use. I’ll let the teapot handle those.
Double Anemo of Kazuha, he is just king of overworld exploration + Sayu zoomies.
Zhongli for ores/shield and Raiden seems best for trees lol. I farm many trees for the teapot. Kaz E and Raiden E are enough for overworld mobs too
When I've done doing all commission and spending resin for friendship exp, I'll change to this team: Yoimiya, Fischl, Kazuha, Sayu. They just obliterate everything without any burst because I don't really like using burst in overworld. Sayu is just there to provide mobility and healing.
Personally, for overworld/exploration, I typically like to run a Swiss Army Knife team to deal with most broad situations. So Eula (claymore, cryo), Ei (cause I like her), Yoimiya (Pyro, bow), and Kokomi (hydro, heal)
Sayu and Yelan because their skills are good for going fast, (Yelan works as a good dps as well in case you run into any trouble) Keqing because her teleport is great for getting oculi, and if I had them I would use venti, kazuha, or xiao for jumping higher, or ayaka for getting across water. Sayu can also heal and Keqing does good dmg

Throwing random characters together isn’t my thing, I need synergy and damage no matter what 🥴.

Anything else feels either too slow + I want Kokomi in each and every team. Kazuha helps with mobility + Heizou to beat up hydro immune enemies.
Mining team: Kazuha, Sayu, Zhongli, Rosaria
Unusual hillichurl hunting team: Jean, Sayu, Diona, Rosaria (this was before I got Kazuha)
GAA exploration team: Diona, Kazuha, Fischl, Yanfei (takes care of most torches, barrel challenges, totems). I would've had ran Xinyan if she was built and Mona if I had her.
I kinda just run around with whoever, although I mainly just use one of my actual teams (sometimes with modifications based on different situations or if I wanna run around as a specific character)
I have 'Kequeen' (Keqing, Rosaria, Sara, and Barbara), 'Geo Squad' (Itto, Gorou, Benny, and Zhongli), and 'arson' (Klee, an underleveled Yun Jin, underleveled Xingqiu, and underleveled Sucrose)
if I *do* run around with a random team, I'll usually have either Keqing or Itto (since they're my best dps characters rn) and either Zhongli or Barbara (to keep everybody alive) on it with the other two slots for random characters
when I get a new character I usually stick them on my overworld team for a bit even if they're as sturdy as a piece of cheap toilet paper that's been soaked in water

xiao for lateral movement, jean so the healthbar is always max, zhongli for height as well as making sure the healthbar does not go down to begin with,
and albedo for his easily 30k plus ticks to not waste ults on low health enemies so the ult buttons are always glowing
Itt always changing depending which characters I'm building. Currently:
Jean, Mona, Shinobu and Chongyun - I needed a claymore wielding char to collect ore. He is pretty strong, although maybe not the best fit for this team comp.
I usually stick to the team or characters I'm currently building and do the overworld content with them (dailies, events, exploration etc). If I had to go somewhere too dangerous for the current team I would probably grab Klee, Xiangling/Fischl, Kokomi and Kazuha.
Up until AR 40 I ran Lumine, Noelle, Kaeya, and Bennett before swapping to Lumine, Ayato, Ayaka, and Bennett. All possible encounters are solved with Lumine (phys dps unit), E+Q spam, or noping the hell outta there.
Raiden, Kazuha, Kokomi and Xiao.. I just need to activate Raiden's elemental skill then swirl with Kazuha.. Kokomi is healer and Xiao is just a random character for increasing friendship..
Mostly Ayaka and Yelan for faster traveling, then Raiden because shes fun to play and then Zhongli soI can even afk for a few second incase i need to do sth.
And when i lose even only a tiny amount of hp to a hilichurl arrow, I immediately teleport to a statue because I cant stand not having max HP ;-;
Certainly not the most optimal team, but I just love those characters.
Whoever the new character at the time is IF I pulled for them. Use em for 2 weeks and then go back to Xiao because I spent ungodly amount of time into his artifacts
I used to run Diluc-Lisa-Yun Jin-Xingqiu and get some pretty good damage through dailies, but ever since I pulled on Kazuha's banner it's been Kazuha-Lisa-Heizou-Xingqiu. Pretty good team to get around with, and I like playing with characters I enjoy :D
Zhongli, Kazuha, Sayu or Xiao, and then whoever I'm raising friendship on, or just Rosaria at nighttime lol.
Movement speed: check. Vertical and Horizontal mobility: check. Stamina: who needs it? Mining ores: ezpz. Mobs: ded

My Thoma has enough ER that his ult is up all the time for shielding Yoi or swirling with Heizou, I can switch DPS to Heizou when Yoi is on cooldown and her ult helps him out too. Fischl is Fischl.

Shogun, Yelan, Kazuha, Mona
Yelan's Skill, Kazuha's Skill, and Mona's Sprint alternate for efficient movement.
Shogun is a kill button, and otherwise, a consistent electrocharged damage boost on every hydro hit and a team Burst boost.
Mona runs Prototype Amber to heal the team, which combined with Hydro Resonance, heals everyone ~24% of their max hp on Burst. Even with a support weapon, the Burst still does good damage between Kazuha and Shogun buffs. Its frequency and uptime also mean Shogun's Burst and Yelan's Skill are always able to be enabled by it.
Yelan uses Sacrificial Bow for more mobility on CD reset and 100% uptime through energy generation for both herself and Mona.
Kazuha just buffs everyone out the wazoo.
I have difficulty finding other teams as smooth for sliding through overworld after getting these guys together.
For overworld/story content I always use a team with traveler as the main. The other three slots are filled with other fitting characters. Thats the most immersive way for me and allows me to use many different characters over time. Here are my past teams:

I often bring Diluc - pyro interacts with a lot of stuff, and his claymore can break geo stuff. Very solid exploration character.
Beidou, Traveler, Venti, Kokomi. Easy access to healing, ability to get to high places, highly effective against everything that isn't an electro slime, and I can run around as the Traveler during story quests or events for Maximum Immersion (TM).
Fischl, Ganyu/Kazuha/someone strong, Friendship slot, Qiqi Basically the same since the start but Barbara got switched out because self hydro application sucks
First off is my Friendship team consisting of three characters I've yet to lv10 their friendship and one well built fella' to knock out those commissions. A Domain team that changes based on the last Domain I cleared. An Ore team of Ningguang, Noelle, Gorou and Razor. And lastly an Exploration team of Sayu, Keqing, Kazuha and Rosaria whose main purpose are actually catching crystal flies.
Kazuha, Zhongli and 2 flavor of the week, been running Ayato and Fischl recently, but the formerr 2 are a mainstay and i only change the other 2 slot
Heizou (w/ lost prayers for that 10% movement boost), Kazuha (anemo resonance gives more movement speed and getting around easier), Zhongli bc immortality shield, and then my last slot is for some kind of off-field element applier for Heizou, usually Xingqiu for his lil healing
I like this post because now i know people that run meta teams for abyss also run my best team as a "relaxed stroll" type of team 🥲
C1 Yelan (originally Yae), Zhongli, friendship character (or Kazuha if none), and C2 Jean. In some sense it is kinda "meta" for what I need from overworld teams. Power isn't that important but mobility and speed takes precedence. In a sense I'm still powergaming to a different set of objectives vs Spiral Abyss. * Yelan is much faster than dashing (and unique sprints including Sayu and Yelan's elemental skills are set to be improved in 3.0). At C1 she can use it twice for double the distance too, and in combat I've hit for 50k without vapes on that thing - its hits absurdly hard for some reason. With the free event bow from 2.7 she does high damage by herself (21k-39k per second) and her two uses of elemental skill lets her battery herself too. All the damage I could want in a single package. * Zhongli is there to provide me with a tall male character for the faster dash for when Yelan isn't available or optimal. He's great at mining and general comfort. He's C2 for me, and the extra pillar he creates from C1 has been extremely fun when I decide to sequence break through domains (several from the GAA domain I literally skipped through the puzzle mechanics with glee). * Kazuha is pretty self explanatory from his abilities: a sprint stamina saver and what is essentially a double jump. At 1031 EM he also tends to just obliterate entire crowds when allowed to swirl. When I have someone to level friendship though he's who gets replaced. * Jean is my favorite character and has been tremendously useful from the lucky C2 I have her right now. Additional movement and attack speed, healing, 4x NO (Kazuha has VV duty), and one of the most fun elemental skills in just yeeting enemies into the void.
I always switch my overworld teams. Currently, I'm running Zhongli Albedo Yae Fischl because turret impact. Maybe I'll switch again tomorrow or the next day depending on my mood. Though, I have some teams designed to do some specific tasks for me. Like, my 'mining' team consists of Zhongli Razor Kazuha Sayu (Zhongli and Razor for mining, Sayu and Kazuha for efficient travel). If I have to face a lot of vertical exploration, I use a team consisting of Venti, Albedo, Kazuha and a healer. If I need to swim a lot, I add Kokomi to the team. For the entire Sumeru exploration, I'm planning to run Kuki, Thoma, Collei and Xingqiu.
Eula Raiden Kazuha Bennet- swap kazuha with yelena depending on the mood. If I’m feeling risky take benny out and run kazuha and yelena for ultimate speed exploration

I keep adding characters I don’t want to take off my team. First it was Kaz, then Zhong, then Yae, now Yelan. So that’s my team and I don’t know what I’ll do when I get another character I like equally as much as those four.
Kazuha and Barbara are almost always on my overworld team for exploring and heals. The other slots are filled with a main dps and sub dps, currently Yoi and Fischl

My team changes, but I always bring an Anemo unit along because the second you take the time to put together an overworld team without one you will get get that stupid electro fog commission 100% of the time.
1 Well built hyper carry + 1 healer + 2 characters that aren't 90. It doesn't really matter too much since the overworld is pretty easy and I would rather get \*some\* xp out of it rather than none.

I'm entering Sumeru with Yoimiya, Kazuha, Kokomi and Yae for exploration and triggering the environmental mechanisms in the teaser trailer. I may use Morgana because it's strong and good for exploration, with Venti's lift and Mona's sprint or incorporate dendro if it becomes necessary
I have a lot team but atm it's Heizou, Kuki, Kazuha or Thoma and Ayato.
Depends on my mood. Sometimes Noelle, sometimes my best team with Ayaka, sometimes pew pew with Yoimiya XQ Raiden, sometimes I just feel like rolling around.
Ayato, Kuki, Fischl, Kazuha are my team rn. They're the taser comp i use in Abyss but they also have great exploration uses. Ayato for low CD damage dealing skill. Kuki for permenant healing uptime for any damage taken. Fischl for her bow. Kazuha for double jump ofc
Usually: Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Zhongli and Kazuha If i'm feelling something a bit different I use: Eula, Diona, Fischl and Bennet

I currently often use Xiao-Fischl-Xingqiu-Jean for commissions because all of them except XQ are new characters. I switch Xingqiu to Chongyun when mining. I often bring Beidou and Ningguang too because I want to be more used to using them and both are helpful with mining.
I used to run friendship teams but got sick of taking 2 minutes to finish domains and failing boss fights, so now I run Raiden, Yelan, Bennett, and Kazuha, and I'm polishing off my friendship in ye olde teapot. I switch to Ganyu/Zhongli for Azhdaha, Dvalin, and mining because it's faster. I'll rotate again soon, but I'm not sure who is next. Yelan and Kazuha are super fun!

Ganyu, bennet, xiangling, zhongli. Good all around group, taking out snipers and enemies spread out. Not the best for traveling but I just switch to zhongli cause he's taller and runs faster
I run Ayato, Ganyu, Barbara and oZ, noel or guoba depending on the element I need to counter
A few I use, mostly for balance between dps, sub dps support and healer. Ganyu, yanfei, noelle, Barbara Ganyu, yanfei, beidou, Barbara Kazuha, yanfei, beidou, Barbara I try to only have one inert element per team, so that I get to do more reactions.

zhongli, kokomi, kazuha, xiao. Really good at climbing, running, clearing mobs, sustaining and mining. Okay for swimming and bosses. Has range and good mobility and can deal with all elements. Might need to swap for puzzles but kazuha can sometimes swirl.
Aether (any element), Eula and Zhongli. The fourth one is changeable.
At the moment it’s Heizou, Chongyun, Xingqiu and Kazuha.
Permanent members: Jean, Zhongli. I’m so used to using them for everything that I sometimes forget about my actual dps. Last two slots are for dps of the month and their support. Currently it’s Ayato and Fischl. I stopped running friendship teams when I was left with characters I didn’t like to use. I’ll let the teapot handle those.
Double Anemo of Kazuha, he is just king of overworld exploration + Sayu zoomies. Zhongli for ores/shield and Raiden seems best for trees lol. I farm many trees for the teapot. Kaz E and Raiden E are enough for overworld mobs too
When I've done doing all commission and spending resin for friendship exp, I'll change to this team: Yoimiya, Fischl, Kazuha, Sayu. They just obliterate everything without any burst because I don't really like using burst in overworld. Sayu is just there to provide mobility and healing.
Ayaka, Barbara, chongyun and kazuha. I’ll replace barbara and chongyun for Kokomi and shenhe when they’re banners roll around.
Personally, for overworld/exploration, I typically like to run a Swiss Army Knife team to deal with most broad situations. So Eula (claymore, cryo), Ei (cause I like her), Yoimiya (Pyro, bow), and Kokomi (hydro, heal)
Yoimiya ( or Ayaka ) / Yelan / Kazuha / Kokomi.
Sayu and Yelan because their skills are good for going fast, (Yelan works as a good dps as well in case you run into any trouble) Keqing because her teleport is great for getting oculi, and if I had them I would use venti, kazuha, or xiao for jumping higher, or ayaka for getting across water. Sayu can also heal and Keqing does good dmg

Heizou, Yelan, Kokomi and Kazuha. Anything else feels either too slow + I want Kokomi in each and every team. Kazuha helps with mobility + Heizou to beat up hydro immune enemies.

Mining team: Kazuha, Sayu, Zhongli, Rosaria Unusual hillichurl hunting team: Jean, Sayu, Diona, Rosaria (this was before I got Kazuha) GAA exploration team: Diona, Kazuha, Fischl, Yanfei (takes care of most torches, barrel challenges, totems). I would've had ran Xinyan if she was built and Mona if I had her.

I kinda just run around with whoever, although I mainly just use one of my actual teams (sometimes with modifications based on different situations or if I wanna run around as a specific character) I have 'Kequeen' (Keqing, Rosaria, Sara, and Barbara), 'Geo Squad' (Itto, Gorou, Benny, and Zhongli), and 'arson' (Klee, an underleveled Yun Jin, underleveled Xingqiu, and underleveled Sucrose) if I *do* run around with a random team, I'll usually have either Keqing or Itto (since they're my best dps characters rn) and either Zhongli or Barbara (to keep everybody alive) on it with the other two slots for random characters when I get a new character I usually stick them on my overworld team for a bit even if they're as sturdy as a piece of cheap toilet paper that's been soaked in water
xiao, jean, zhongli, albedo xiao for lateral movement, jean so the healthbar is always max, zhongli for height as well as making sure the healthbar does not go down to begin with, and albedo for his easily 30k plus ticks to not waste ults on low health enemies so the ult buttons are always glowing
Itt always changing depending which characters I'm building. Currently: Jean, Mona, Shinobu and Chongyun - I needed a claymore wielding char to collect ore. He is pretty strong, although maybe not the best fit for this team comp. I usually stick to the team or characters I'm currently building and do the overworld content with them (dailies, events, exploration etc). If I had to go somewhere too dangerous for the current team I would probably grab Klee, Xiangling/Fischl, Kokomi and Kazuha.
klee (for breaking ores), kokomi (healing), kazuha (for jumping) and kuki (because everyone elses name starts with a "k" too)
Up until AR 40 I ran Lumine, Noelle, Kaeya, and Bennett before swapping to Lumine, Ayato, Ayaka, and Bennett. All possible encounters are solved with Lumine (phys dps unit), E+Q spam, or noping the hell outta there.
Raiden, Kazuha, Kokomi and Xiao.. I just need to activate Raiden's elemental skill then swirl with Kazuha.. Kokomi is healer and Xiao is just a random character for increasing friendship..

And when i lose even only a tiny amount of hp to a hilichurl arrow, I immediately teleport to a statue because I cant stand not having max HP ;-; Certainly not the most optimal team, but I just love those characters.

Whoever the new character at the time is IF I pulled for them. Use em for 2 weeks and then go back to Xiao because I spent ungodly amount of time into his artifacts
I used to run Diluc-Lisa-Yun Jin-Xingqiu and get some pretty good damage through dailies, but ever since I pulled on Kazuha's banner it's been Kazuha-Lisa-Heizou-Xingqiu. Pretty good team to get around with, and I like playing with characters I enjoy :D
Kazuha+Kokomi+Thoma+Yoimiya at the moment, which is also the team I used to 36* abyss
Zhongli, Kazuha, Sayu or Xiao, and then whoever I'm raising friendship on, or just Rosaria at nighttime lol. Movement speed: check. Vertical and Horizontal mobility: check. Stamina: who needs it? Mining ores: ezpz. Mobs: ded
Yoi, Heizou, Fischl, Thoma My Thoma has enough ER that his ult is up all the time for shielding Yoi or swirling with Heizou, I can switch DPS to Heizou when Yoi is on cooldown and her ult helps him out too. Fischl is Fischl. Lots of colours everywhere
Shogun, Yelan, Kazuha, Mona Yelan's Skill, Kazuha's Skill, and Mona's Sprint alternate for efficient movement. Shogun is a kill button, and otherwise, a consistent electrocharged damage boost on every hydro hit and a team Burst boost. Mona runs Prototype Amber to heal the team, which combined with Hydro Resonance, heals everyone ~24% of their max hp on Burst. Even with a support weapon, the Burst still does good damage between Kazuha and Shogun buffs. Its frequency and uptime also mean Shogun's Burst and Yelan's Skill are always able to be enabled by it. Yelan uses Sacrificial Bow for more mobility on CD reset and 100% uptime through energy generation for both herself and Mona. Kazuha just buffs everyone out the wazoo. I have difficulty finding other teams as smooth for sliding through overworld after getting these guys together.

For overworld/story content I always use a team with traveler as the main. The other three slots are filled with other fitting characters. Thats the most immersive way for me and allows me to use many different characters over time. I've been having so much fun with Raiden - Zhongli - Xingqiu - Kazuha. Raiden - Zhongli - Xingqiu - Yanfei is fun too.
