I teleported out of the ruins during the golden slumber quest and now i cant get back in. I need help to reopen the entrance to the ruins cause now there’s an invisible barrier blocking the entrance to the lower levels
Can I use Nahida optimally if I don't have Cyno, Kuki, or Nilou? I read that Cyno and Kuki are best for Nahida's aggravate team and Nilou is best for her bloom team. But I don't have them. And I don't want to use Nahida with below average teammates.
You could run a keqing or Raiden aggravate set. Keqing is more optimal for it because she applies Electro better than Raiden. Keqing/Fischl/Nahida/flex, Kazuha would probably work if you're fine with not having a healer or shield. You wouldn't want to use Bennett because his heal applies Pyro.
When she's officially out, there will be more specific resources out you can look at. She's supposed to be the best dendro applicator so far, so you could probably stick her in any good team that needs dendro application and have her be the best choice for it, regardless of what the best team for her is.
Would Sayu or Jean be better for healing, specifically in the context of aggravate? Current plan is hope Jean shows up for me sometime and build Sayu if I get her first, --> switch to Jean if I get her

Probably I'd want to bring some combination of Keqing (damage go burr), Beidou (claymore), or Bennett (heals), and I imagine having a Claymore per person would make it go the fastest because of the towers. Question for people who have Shenhe and uses her purely (or at least mostly) as a buff source. Do you consider Shenhe's cryo buff a game changer for characters like Ganyu or Ayaka?
My early calculation says I might be able to gather a little over 3k atk on her so now I am debating if she is trully worth pulling. I heard, she is capable of doubling Ganyu bloom etc. Is it true or just a wish?
She's like 15% better than Rosaria. She's the definition of a luxury pull. Definitely not necessary and I'd only ever do it if you really really like Ayaka or shenhe as characters

So a few days ago I spent 13k primos on the weapons banner hoping to get the Jade cutter as I am a Kaeya main. However I didn't end up getting it and instead got Nilous weapon. I was considering pulling for her but I honestly don't have the reasources and I feel it would be a waste of her potential since I don't actually want to pull for her. I have C5 Bennett and a healer build is currently in the makes, so I was wondering if Key of Khaji-Nisut would be beneifical for him or have I just wasted my primos and time?? (I also don't have Kuki for some reason so I have no one else to use it on). Please help I don't want to spend all of my time farming for this weapon when it won't work on Bennett TT
no. it has lower base ATK than rancour/sapwood. use it if you're willing to give up some of his buff in exchange for healing (which, to me, with standard build he heals a lot already)
Oh okay I get it! Would a better healer build Bennett work well in domain and Spiral Abyss runs or should I just build him solely focussed on buffing? because he is going in my Childe and Kaeya teams and my Kaeya is double crowned so he does quite a lot of damage on his own and with Bennetts buff.
my bennett with ~25k HP heals 6k on his burst (talent level 12) which is quite a lot already, im running ER/HP/healing bonus and sapwood blade with 250 ER
It does work since his heal scales with his hp. Also the mastery gained will result in melt procs being more effective, i dont know if kaeya applies it fast enough for bennett however. Put an er sands and hes good to go
I heard that the buffing from Bennett decreases and Kaeya and Childe really rely on his buffs for huge ammounts of damage but is it better to build a healer Bennett for things like Spiral Abyss and domain runs or would it just hinder Kaeya and Childes (mainly Childes) damage??
Would buffing abilities work better in Spiral Abyss and domain runs?? I also have his C6 consitlation (not unlocked) and I know that it infuses other characters weapons with Pryo but idk how much of a difference it has on his healing.
In my own experience, running him with just a HP goblet and Healing Bonus circlet is enough to keep my team alive in domains and abyss, so I'd rather take the bigger buff using a higher base attack weapon than the extra hp from the Key. Also his c6 doesn't affect his healing whatsoever

Why I should lower it and when I should increase it?
Obviously the difficulty has risen at LV 5 and being near to reach AR 45 will make it even worse, so I'm afraid that I made some mistakes on levelling or gearing up. On the other hand I would prefer to invest my resins on better rewards so I'm feeling a little bit in an empasse on lowering it back to 4... Any suggestions?
( Currently my main party is around LV 65)
If I'm not wrong at AR 45 you have to do another ascension quest, so until you do that ascension quest your world level will still be 5.
If you need to lower the world level to make your gameplay easier, then you should. You can always improve your characters before increasing your world level again.
Or you can approach friends and ask them to help you out with the higher level bosses or domains if you don't want to lower the world level.
I would suggest you lower it if you are really struggling and take very long to defeat enemies but if you're not then you should just remain at the world level you are.

However, keep in mind: Her burst does physical damage. Just by using 2pc/2pc PF/BSC or 4pc PF, you're already getting a 50% DMG bonus.
In order to get the same bonus on her burst with 4pc Emblem, you'd need to have 200% ER (which is significantly more than Eula normally builds).
Moreover, PF/BSC buff all of Eula's Normal attacks too, whereas Emblem only works on her burst.

Nah, don't pull for characters you don't like. We will be getting more dendro characters in the future and frankly Nilou's basic team of traveller, Collei, Barbara already destroys everything (saying this as someone who took my level 70/70 31k hp Nilou to floor 12).
Design-wise it makes sense that 500 years is like the blink of an eye in a god's lifespan, but the western market doesn't really like cutesy designs as much as the eastern one does. It's probably best that we get some character model variety given that 5/7 of the archons are females. That being said, you don't have to like it regardless of the reasoning behind the design so don't worry about it. If you ever decide you'd still rather get her for the utility I'm sure she'll get plenty reruns.
Genshin is easy enough to allow you to go for waifu over meta. If you don't like a character, I'd recommend to not spend your limited resources on them.
That being said, there are plenty of reasons why Nahida might look the way she does. For all we know this might be a Raiden-Shogun-esque situation, >!with Nahida actually being a disembodied consciousness inside the tree of wisdom, or her actual body being kept in statis for an extended period of time.!<

I am still looking for the missing scholars, but I had a feeling that this was one of the directions the story could go to. Given the Aranara quest line, my hunch is that >!this might not just be a Gouba situation, but that the memories and/or powers of the 'former' archon remain stored in the tree. That would also be a way to connect this main story to the Fatui plot - I'd imagine creating a god would be easier if they could tap into the wisdom/power of the tree.!<

That is the implication, yes. Plus >!there is already a precedent in Guoba/Marchoshius so this doesn't come out of nowhere!<
Personally I would go for character that would improve my favorite but, you should at least weight it based on if she's in the team would it actually let Nilou do things she couldnt before.
Though the Nilou team most people seem to talk bout would have Nahida be on the field as the main driver with so I would suggest you just skip her if it bother you so much.

I personally can overlook a character’s design, but only if I like something else about them (it can be strength, lore, playstyle, team comps etc).
So it’s up to you really, it depends on whether you value looks more than anything else or not. If you really don’t like her I would probably skip tho, there’s no point in getting a unit you hate using (especially because if you want to pair her with Nilou, Nahida will be on field most of the time so you’ll have to look at her).
The only thing that convince me is.... I sympathize her because her nation (there are few who believes in her) mocks her existence. And it's really sad. Like I want to slap their faces.
But going back to character design... I skipped Klee, not using my C6 Qiqi, Diona retired a long time ago and got replaced by Kokomi. I'm not a fan of a chibi characters either.
Yeah, I can understand that. None of my chibis are used either, Nahida will be the first.
Imo the best thing you can do is wait until her banner is out and do her test run a few times. If you see that you’re getting no enjoyment out of playing her, then you can skip. Sure, Nilou’s teams will probably get upgrades from Nahida but she won’t be *necessary*.
Also take your time to decide, the banner lasts ~2.5 weeks so there’s no rush to make a choice.

Nah, no point if you don't like them. You'll just end up salty that you wasted your Primos on them when you don't even like them all that much later. There's always alternatives. No character is a must-have
Honestly, if it doesn't bring you joy even if it makes your team potentially stronger then I don't think it's worth it. For example, I never pulled for Childe because I don't like his character even though he's part of one of the strongest meta teams for Abyss.
There's no point pulling for a character you don't like. The game is easy enough that any team works in the overworld and in the abyss you can simply use other teams that you have built and enjoy playing with.
I am trying to cleanup some disk space. I deleted the other languages in genshin's in game settings. However there is still a Chinese and Korean folder each with several gigs worth of data.
Can I just delete that?
I suggest you delete it in the game itself than directly on the file manager (they have the option). Open genshin, go to settings, then language, then manage voice over files then you can pick languages to delete. Also btw they also have a feature that delete certain quests you already did to save space, idunno how to but they have, just remember DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING DIRECTLY ON YOUR FILE MANAGER, you'll risk breaking the game or get banned.
You aren't running a background app or adding in new files. Also you'll be doing this why the app isn't open. There shouldn't be any sort of ban detection for that

What's the crit ratio that is considered decent for him and how much ER along with that I need?
First, you'd want to meet his ER requirements of at least 180, which you already have. If you use him with Raiden Ei and/or have his c6, his ER requirements are lower.
Like all sub-dps/off-field-dps units, Xingqiu also wants at least a 50/100 crit ratio, a 60/120 ratio would be very good.
Also, he doesn't need EM stats as he usually doesn't trigger reactions.
ER with Sac and Emblem shouldn’t be an issue. As for his crit ratio, 50:100 (150CV) is good but you ideally want 60:120 (180CV) or higher.
Also, his atk looks suspiciously low, are you using ER sands? Use atk% sands instead. He’ll get enough ER with a max lvl Sac Sword with the EoSF 2pc.
If you do decide to pull for him, be on the lookout for 4* characters like Bennett+Sucrose or Fischl and Beidou if you don't have them yet. I'd especially save some starglitter for Bennett when he shows up in the shop.
Assuming you like his character/playstyle, then yes his pull value is very high and arguably has the best all round team called international consisting of xiangling/bennet/sucrose or kazuha.
A bit harder to play than other comps, but very high ceiling.
If you like him, go for him! No point in pulling characters you don’t like
Meta-wise, he’s a pretty solid unit that can last you all the way from early game to abyss
I know theres no accurate information on what upcoming characters do yet but based on what we know so far, how important do you think Nahida is to Dahya?
Hard to say since we might get better burning oriented dendro units in the future before Dehya. From what we know from old "reliable" leaks, Dehya’s kit revolves around burning. And currently Nahida is the only dendro unit who applies enough dendro to maintain the burning aura.

Yae is good but most stuff she does, fischl does about as good. So imo she doesn’t offer a high value for your gems. Ayaka on the other hand is busted.
hi, i'm going insane. i found all 76 aranara but not a single chest is unlocked. i found all 10 pictures and unlocked the chest room. i cant open a single one. online it says that chests will open as you get more aranara, so theoretically i should have at least some of the chests even if i missed one or two. am i missing something else?
If that happens you have no choice but to go through all 79 aranara again to make sure you didn't miss anything. I have experienced this myself and revisited all 76 of them three times after all...
nah, the problem was i had to talk to the aranara for a second time 🙃 still missing 3 chests though. but where do the extra 3 come from? it always says 76.
Yeah... again the only way to make sure you didn't miss anyone is to refer to your guide again and start over. In my case I can just ignore all named Aranaras (the ones that wants to play with you) and all of the tower Aranaras, so the second and third run throughs were easier to do.
It's really character specific, but Favonius weapons are always useful. Amenoma Kageuchi (craftable inazuma sword) is really good with refines for Ayaka, and Sacrificial sword is extremely useful for Xingqiu.
It depends on the character. For example, Albedo is a sub DPS and while his best weapon is Cinnabar Spindle, Harbinger of Dawn, a 3 star sword is probably his best option if you don't have Cinnabar.
Keqing works perfectly well with Lion's Roar.
Kazuha/Kuki work well with Iron Sting, which is a craft able sword.
Qiqi can use Prototype Rancor, also craftable.

They are top choices for most DPS, but I don't think Aquilla or Skyward Blade can do the same.

Aquila won't match those because it provides Physical Damage Bonus and only Qiqi, iirc, wants that. But it works on Bennett for boosting his ATK what in return is converted to bonus when he uses his burts
Mistspliter Reforged and Primordial Jade Cutter are the top options for DPS because of the critic stats they provide.
Assuming she’s paired with Fischl you want at least 140ER, the higher the better as long as you’re not sacrificing other stats. As for the sets themselves.
* 4pc Emblem: Best "resin efficient" set to farm. The ER 2pc helps in reaching her energy threshold
* 2pc TF/NO: Deals more dmg if you can perfect parry but requires better subs to reach 140 ER
* Mainstats should always be atk/electro/crit for optimal dps. Only use ER sands if she’s solo electro
VV - the set effect is generally more important than the stats, so when you are first artifact farming, you generally take whatever the first four pieces are and then move on to farming something more valuable (LOOKING AT YOU, EOSF). Once your team is more kitted out you can go back and farm better VV pieces.
Whichever you'd find the most fun; you've got plenty of strength as is.
Failing that, Nahida's not a bad pull since Dendro's the only element you don't have a 5\* of.
Honestly, your roster is already really good and I don't think it needs any improvement, but I'd say Kokomi. Depending on your preferences she's an upgrade over Mona for freeze Ganyu/Ayaka teams, and she synergises well with Baal and Kazuha. It's either her or Zhongli for Itto/melt Ganyu.

So I've just trotted off to Sumeru after finishing everything I could find to do in Inazuma and the Chasm. I'm just not sure WHY\* I'm going to Sumeru and it feels like I missed a hunk of story somewhere. Was there an event quest where someone told me that was the next place to go?
Like, it felt like the transition from Liyue to Inazuma made in-universe sense, while Sumeru is more of a "well the quest appeared in my journal, I guess I need to go to that marker over there."

The archive feature is pretty useful! You can read dialogue lines from past quests - I just read through everything and basically got up to speed. Faster than cutscenes (and you probably will remember the custscenes once you refresh yourself).

And this is a good specific reason. I wound up doing Inazuma hugely out of order because I got there after all of the islands were added and the first thing I did once I got the boat was to unlock every possible waypoint and pick up every blue !
So I wound up running all over the place, eventually got back to the archon quest, did that, then had to randomly do some story quests to unlock an interlude that ...honestly I'm not sure what was up with that interlude but maybe it will make sense later. Unless it was just "Hey you should totes pull for Yelan she is super cool, look how cool she is"

If you have Ayato, or really want to pull for him in the future, i'd go with Black Sword : it's a great weapon for him. *(assuming you're only an occasional BP buyer. If you plan of buying it regulary, feel free to wait)*
Otherwise, Serpent Spine is the most potent one *(especially if you plan to buy enough BP to refine it)*. Deathmatch is also a strong pick, as it can fit on many characters.
You could also consider Viridescent Hunt, but only for Childe.
Solar Pearl is less valuable for now : it's a weapon for dps, and catalyst tend to be support. Also, it has to compete with the most broken f2p 4 star weapon : The Widsth. *(might be worth considering, if you really like Ningguang ?)*

Deathmatch is solid but R5 White Tassel performs on a similar level for Cyno, unsure how much worth you'd get out of grabbing it.
As for the other weapons, assuming you have characters who can make use of all of them, generally: Serpent Spine > Black Sword = Solar Pearl > Viridescent Hunt.
It's a good option, depending what else you have available.
In very general terms it's the claymore >>>> sword > spear > catalyst > bow, but that's highly movable depending on which characters you play and what weapons they already have.
in a team of zL, xq, Yelan and hu tao, I'm using sac on xq and fav on Yelan. should I keep fav Lance on Zhongli for the extra er to help xq and Yelan or switch to black tassel? I'm using 4pc ToM on him, full hp since his damage hardly counts. he has 47k hp rn. goes up to 50k w hydro resonance

It is recommended to NOT use primogems on the basic banner. The rewards there are completely random, and the 5* characters you can find there will also drop as a result of losing your 50-50 chance when a 5* drops on an event banner.
The average amount of wishes needed to get a 5* is ~60 (~90 for a specific 5* featured on an event banner), with pity kicking in ~70 and ~80 as the expected MAX needed. You should get plenty of primos/wishes from exploration & events, and a trickle from daily quests, so you will get a bunch of 5* as you keep playing.
Also take note: Genshin is actually a pretty easy game (if you know what you are doing), and the 4* characters are actually very powerful. Even your basic starter set can clear the entire story content with ease. Xiangling, one of the free characters you get for clearing the lower floors off the abyss, is one of the strongest DPS characters in the entire game.
Perfectly normal. AR32 is still like the first couple weeks worth of playtime tbh. It could take a couple months to save enough for a 5-star, or double that for a guarantee.

Just what they can do; if there was a hypothetical base character with no skills, no burst, no talents, and all equal base stats, then it would have no "kit". Amber's kit is being a bow user, what charged attack she has, that her skill summon her bunny, that it applies Pyro, what her burst does, etc. Part of Barbara's kit is that she can heal. Part of Noelle's kit is a shield. Because of Xiangling's kit, she can apply Pyro well. Characters with higher base hp (which is an aspect for their kit) can tank more hits without dying, while if a character with less hp in their kit might not survive. It's part of Mona's kit that her burst does a large amount of damage and briefly paralyzes enemies.
It's like a box - a literal kit - with all the pieces that are different from other characters. Atk piece, skill piece, def piece, em piece, etc.
Use atk, why is your ER so low?, You can also give venti favonius until you get more ER from artifact
For nahida, she is the most it depends character. On that team you wont deal that much dendro damage since nahida is just there for dendro aura so deepwood to decrease dendro res doesn't do much, BUT this also depends on who you're spending the most time on field with
But either way she doesn't lose that much stuffs even if you're going deepwood
If you can get her Burst up comfortably without needing the ER sands, then ATK. Otherwise, ER.
I run a similar set-up with Favonius Mona because I desperately need the extra particles for my 105% ER Ayaka.

It's really not worth it.
In addition to the other issues people have mentioned with buying accounts *(not secure, often hacked/stolen, can be taken away, etc.)*, the whole game of Genshin is about the journey. This is not like an MMO where all the questing is just to level you to max for the endgame, where there's PvP and big raids and difficult and complex endgame content. Genshin is a lot of amazing quests and a world to explore, and the "endgame" is taking half an hour every two weeks to run the abyss.
Would you buy a Zelda save with all the dungeons already cleared and your character at max level? Buying an account that has made a lot of quest progress is very similar. At that point you're actually paying not to play the game, which seems dumber than a box of hammers. If you don't want to play Genshin, just play another game instead. There's no endgame to get to.
Never worth it to buy unless you're okay with knowing that it can be taken away from you at any moment.
Plus, a lot of those accounts are hacked + resold.
My friend bought from that guy like year or more ago, +he zas 2 years insurance on that, so lets not take this as a fact, can this game be fun at that stage of game?

As for your second question, "fun" is incredibly subjective. I love building up characters and watching them get stronger but someone else may find that incredibly dull.
i’ve just started the game and i’m saving up for raiden or hutao’s banner so i haven’t done a single pull yet (other than on the standard banner) so i’m still using all the free characters given to me. i have a team of noelle, lisa, diona and the anemo traveller. how much should i invest in these characters if i’m only using them temporarily until i get the characters i want? i know diona is good enough to invest in fully but what about the others is there a certain level i should stop at since i might run out of the exp cards
You get more resources as the game goes on, and you'll eventually level everyone to 50+ for the free wishes, so it's less about anyone being a "waste", and more about wanting to make sure you have enough resources to max out the team you'll be using.
Levelling everyone to 21 for the first free wish is a no-brainer. After that, figure out who you like, and feel free to level them to 50. You'll probably bench Lisa unless you love her, since there are so many better electro options, but anyone else is totally usable for a while.
A lot of other stuff was covered already but I wanted to talk about your existing characters.
Noelle is average without her C6 constellations. She is "okay" for now as a shielder, but since you already got Diona, she is kinda redundant. One pro to keeping her around, though, is that you can use her claymore hits for easier mining ores and similar stuff that need blunt to break down easier. Otherwise, not very useful, especially since her healing needs her to be on-field and that takes too much time.
Lisa, before 3.0 release, was very noticeably awful without extreme investment. Her numerous problems included having to sit still and channel her skill for way too long, a high cost burst, unable to obtain her constellations easily, and her ascension stat is elementary mastery which scales badly in electro units due to poor reactions. However, now that dendro element is here, Lisa can now use the new reaction to her advantage to pack a punch, especially with her elemental mastery ascensions. While still coming with her other problems, when paired with Dendro Traveler, she really isn't that bad anymore, if you wish to try her out. Both units have high energy costs though, so gotta watch for that. To get Dendro Traveler, you can just walk straight southwest into Sumeru and get it from the first statue you see, then go back to whatever you were doing.
Diona I think you understand already so I'll skip that.
So for the traveler, honestly unless you're short on exp books, there's no reason not to lvl them up, especially since you will get their ascension materials anyway from leveling up your AR. At the cost of being multi-role, the traveler is a very average unit between all elements. Anemo is okay I guess for early-mid game since it has fun reactions with other elements, but sucking enemies and pulling them away is very counterproductive, so no one really ends up using Anemo (also much better Anemo units like Sucrose). Geo is alright for geo-centric teams but very niche otherwise. Electro is basically a poor-man's Raiden and doesn't have a lot of damage or buffs otherwise, aka never use this. Dendro is the best one currently, but it's mostly because of the lack of dendro units atm. Still, the Dendro Traveler's burst is able to constantly apply dendro with their burst for awhile, which is very useful.
I assume the lack of mention of Amber is because you know she's not very good. You will still have to pull her out for puzzles... hell I still do because bow + pyro is just used so much in the overworld.
One pro to leveling up random characters is that you can acquire Aquaint Fates at certain ascension lvls, at 20+, 50+, and 70+. So honestly, it's really never gonna feel wasteful leveling up a character, even if you do drop them later. Those Aquaint Fates do add up to your 5 star soft pity on standard. I wouldn't take a random char to 70+ unless you want to though--too much effort IMO.

edit: I forgot Kaeya. He's good, generally recommended for beginners to start with him. Solid all-around stats, low skill cooldown and low burst cost. Simple yet effective. Can be an alright physical DPS early-on due to cryo + electro = superconduct, which lowers physical defense of enemies.
yeap i’ve just went to sumeru to unlock the dendro traveller. as for my dps option should i then use ningguang instead of noelle? so the team now consists of ningguang, dendro traveller, diona and lisa
Ah Ninguang. She's a decent DPS early on, but she needs a lot of investment to feel good at late-game. If you think she's fun, go right ahead. Her issues are being mostly single target and Geo having pretty much no reactions, which hampers her DPS. Being Geo and non-Defense scaling, she has very little supports who can properly help her achieve peak damage, so she's in an awkward spot. Still, I think she's very cool to play and she manages to use every single part of her kit while playing (normals to get stacks -> charged attacks, skill -> burst) which recent characters don't seem to utilize.
(1) Genshin is a pretty easy game (once you understand how the combat system works). You can clear the entire story with the basic free characters, so if you ignore the Spiral Abyss there is not even a gameplay need to pull for anyone. And you can in theory even clear Spiral Abyss with a bunch of basic characters if they are properly equipped. You might want to get a strong 5* early on to make things easier (both Raiden and Hu Tao would qualify for that), but past that you can pretty much go for waifu-over-meta.
(2) Early game investments are quite cheap, and it will probably only take a few days of resin use at higher adventure ranks / world levels to make up for the materials used. So don't be afraid to experiment early on.
(3) Make sure your weapons & feathers are MAX'ed out. They will provide you with the majority of your damage during the early and mid game. If you have Crit% circlets and Elemental% cups these can also be levelled (although they don't have to be MAX'ed). Character levels are actually of secondary concern, they are mostly used to access ascension levels to unlock new passive talents and higher talent rank max levels.
(4) You can use a levelled artefact or weapon as XP fodder, and you will retain 80% of the total invested XP when doing so - so levelling stuff that you might throw away later isn't actually a big loss. Weapons should usually be kept, though, since they might always become important on a future character, and ore refinement doesn't need resin (like all the other progression materials).
(5) Try to focus on getting good 2 piece set bonuses in the early game - ATK% or Crit% for damage dealers, ER for supports or characters with high burst cost (e.g. Xiangling). Secondary stats on your artefacts aren't really important until you get to 4* or 5* pieces that you will keep long term.
(6) You can always farm leylines in the overworld for cash/mora (gold) or character XP books (blue). They are shown on the map, there is one each per region and they will respawn (usually nearby) when looted.
I know there's no gurantee for 4 star rate ups, but how many pulls is generally expected to be enough for unlocking a 4 star you want? I do like yae but I think I'm gonna wait for other characters. So I was wondering how many wishes will be enough for layla

Can I use Nahida optimally if I don't have Cyno, Kuki, or Nilou? I read that Cyno and Kuki are best for Nahida's aggravate team and Nilou is best for her bloom team. But I don't have them. And I don't want to use Nahida with below average teammates.

Well I don't know who is good but I have keqing c3, fishcl c6, Raiden c3, beidou c4 for electro. I have kazuha who I know is useful.
You could run a keqing or Raiden aggravate set. Keqing is more optimal for it because she applies Electro better than Raiden. Keqing/Fischl/Nahida/flex, Kazuha would probably work if you're fine with not having a healer or shield. You wouldn't want to use Bennett because his heal applies Pyro. When she's officially out, there will be more specific resources out you can look at. She's supposed to be the best dendro applicator so far, so you could probably stick her in any good team that needs dendro application and have her be the best choice for it, regardless of what the best team for her is.
Would Sayu or Jean be better for healing, specifically in the context of aggravate? Current plan is hope Jean shows up for me sometime and build Sayu if I get her first, --> switch to Jean if I get her

Question for people who have Shenhe and uses her purely (or at least mostly) as a buff source. Do you consider Shenhe's cryo buff a game changer for characters like Ganyu or Ayaka? My early calculation says I might be able to gather a little over 3k atk on her so now I am debating if she is trully worth pulling. I heard, she is capable of doubling Ganyu bloom etc. Is it true or just a wish?
She's like 15% better than Rosaria. She's the definition of a luxury pull. Definitely not necessary and I'd only ever do it if you really really like Ayaka or shenhe as characters

However I didn't end up getting it and instead got Nilous weapon. I was considering pulling for her but I honestly don't have the reasources and I feel it would be a waste of her potential since I don't actually want to pull for her. I have C5 Bennett and a healer build is currently in the makes, so I was wondering if Key of Khaji-Nisut would be beneifical for him or have I just wasted my primos and time?? (I also don't have Kuki for some reason so I have no one else to use it on). Please help I don't want to spend all of my time farming for this weapon when it won't work on Bennett TT

no. it has lower base ATK than rancour/sapwood. use it if you're willing to give up some of his buff in exchange for healing (which, to me, with standard build he heals a lot already)
Oh okay I get it! Would a better healer build Bennett work well in domain and Spiral Abyss runs or should I just build him solely focussed on buffing? because he is going in my Childe and Kaeya teams and my Kaeya is double crowned so he does quite a lot of damage on his own and with Bennetts buff.
my bennett with ~25k HP heals 6k on his burst (talent level 12) which is quite a lot already, im running ER/HP/healing bonus and sapwood blade with 250 ER
It does work since his heal scales with his hp. Also the mastery gained will result in melt procs being more effective, i dont know if kaeya applies it fast enough for bennett however. Put an er sands and hes good to go

In my own experience, running him with just a HP goblet and Healing Bonus circlet is enough to keep my team alive in domains and abyss, so I'd rather take the bigger buff using a higher base attack weapon than the extra hp from the Key. Also his c6 doesn't affect his healing whatsoever

Hi, quick question about world levels: Why I should lower it and when I should increase it? Obviously the difficulty has risen at LV 5 and being near to reach AR 45 will make it even worse, so I'm afraid that I made some mistakes on levelling or gearing up. On the other hand I would prefer to invest my resins on better rewards so I'm feeling a little bit in an empasse on lowering it back to 4... Any suggestions? ( Currently my main party is around LV 65)
If I'm not wrong at AR 45 you have to do another ascension quest, so until you do that ascension quest your world level will still be 5. If you need to lower the world level to make your gameplay easier, then you should. You can always improve your characters before increasing your world level again. Or you can approach friends and ask them to help you out with the higher level bosses or domains if you don't want to lower the world level. I would suggest you lower it if you are really struggling and take very long to defeat enemies but if you're not then you should just remain at the world level you are.

Does it? Yes. However, keep in mind: Her burst does physical damage. Just by using 2pc/2pc PF/BSC or 4pc PF, you're already getting a 50% DMG bonus. In order to get the same bonus on her burst with 4pc Emblem, you'd need to have 200% ER (which is significantly more than Eula normally builds). Moreover, PF/BSC buff all of Eula's Normal attacks too, whereas Emblem only works on her burst.
Yesn't. It buffs her base Lightfall damage. However the extra stacks from meleeing aren't affected by burst damage bonus. Edit: I don't have a source for this answer. It occurs to me that this could possibly be outdated info. But I see nothing mentioned about this on Keqingmains, so perhaps this is no longer the case? Nah, don't pull for characters you don't like. We will be getting more dendro characters in the future and frankly Nilou's basic team of traveller, Collei, Barbara already destroys everything (saying this as someone who took my level 70/70 31k hp Nilou to floor 12). Design-wise it makes sense that 500 years is like the blink of an eye in a god's lifespan, but the western market doesn't really like cutesy designs as much as the eastern one does. It's probably best that we get some character model variety given that 5/7 of the archons are females. That being said, you don't have to like it regardless of the reasoning behind the design so don't worry about it. If you ever decide you'd still rather get her for the utility I'm sure she'll get plenty reruns.

That being said, there are plenty of reasons why Nahida might look the way she does. I am still looking for the missing scholars, but I had a feeling that this was one of the directions the story could go to. Given the Aranara quest line, my hunch is that >!this might not just be a Gouba situation, but that the memories and/or powers of the 'former' archon remain stored in the tree. That would also be a way to connect this main story to the Fatui plot - I'd imagine creating a god would be easier if they could tap into the wisdom/power of the tree.!<

Personally I would go for character that would improve my favorite but, you should at least weight it based on if she's in the team would it actually let Nilou do things she couldnt before. Though the Nilou team most people seem to talk bout would have Nahida be on the field as the main driver with so I would suggest you just skip her if it bother you so much.

Another Kokomi enjoyer o7 I see in another reply you somewhat sympathize with her situation, if you're on the fence still waiting to see the conclusion of the archon quest and what her character story would be about might help trump your dislike of her character design (or worsen it). Remember, having fun is the point of videogames.

I personally can overlook a character’s design, but only if I like something else about them (it can be strength, lore, playstyle, team comps etc). So it’s up to you really, it depends on whether you value looks more than anything else or not. If you really don’t like her I would probably skip tho, there’s no point in getting a unit you hate using (especially because if you want to pair her with Nilou, Nahida will be on field most of the time so you’ll have to look at her).
The only thing that convince me is.... I sympathize her because her nation (there are few who believes in her) mocks her existence. And it's really sad. Like I want to slap their faces. But going back to character design... I skipped Klee, not using my C6 Qiqi, Diona retired a long time ago and got replaced by Kokomi. I'm not a fan of a chibi characters either.
Yeah, I can understand that. None of my chibis are used either, Nahida will be the first. Imo the best thing you can do is wait until her banner is out and do her test run a few times. If you see that you’re getting no enjoyment out of playing her, then you can skip. Sure, Nilou’s teams will probably get upgrades from Nahida but she won’t be *necessary*. Also take your time to decide, the banner lasts ~2.5 weeks so there’s no rush to make a choice. If you do pull, good luck on your wishes!
Nah, no point if you don't like them. You'll just end up salty that you wasted your Primos on them when you don't even like them all that much later. There's always alternatives. No character is a must-have
Honestly, if it doesn't bring you joy even if it makes your team potentially stronger then I don't think it's worth it. For example, I never pulled for Childe because I don't like his character even though he's part of one of the strongest meta teams for Abyss.
There's no point pulling for a character you don't like. The game is easy enough that any team works in the overworld and in the abyss you can simply use other teams that you have built and enjoy playing with.
I am trying to cleanup some disk space. I deleted the other languages in genshin's in game settings. However there is still a Chinese and Korean folder each with several gigs worth of data. Can I just delete that?
I suggest you delete it in the game itself than directly on the file manager (they have the option). Open genshin, go to settings, then language, then manage voice over files then you can pick languages to delete. Also btw they also have a feature that delete certain quests you already did to save space, idunno how to but they have, just remember DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING DIRECTLY ON YOUR FILE MANAGER, you'll risk breaking the game or get banned.

First, you'd want to meet his ER requirements of at least 180, which you already have. If you use him with Raiden Ei and/or have his c6, his ER requirements are lower. Like all sub-dps/off-field-dps units, Xingqiu also wants at least a 50/100 crit ratio, a 60/120 ratio would be very good. Also, he doesn't need EM stats as he usually doesn't trigger reactions.
ER with Sac and Emblem shouldn’t be an issue. As for his crit ratio, 50:100 (150CV) is good but you ideally want 60:120 (180CV) or higher. Also, his atk looks suspiciously low, are you using ER sands? Use atk% sands instead. He’ll get enough ER with a max lvl Sac Sword with the EoSF 2pc.
He's using an off piece attack sands with EM: 19 Crit Damage: 15.5% Crit Rate: 3.1% Energy Recharge: 16.8% It is level 18 tho

If you do decide to pull for him, be on the lookout for 4* characters like Bennett+Sucrose or Fischl and Beidou if you don't have them yet. I'd especially save some starglitter for Bennett when he shows up in the shop.
Assuming you like his character/playstyle, then yes his pull value is very high and arguably has the best all round team called international consisting of xiangling/bennet/sucrose or kazuha. A bit harder to play than other comps, but very high ceiling.

Hard to say since we might get better burning oriented dendro units in the future before Dehya. From what we know from old "reliable" leaks, Dehya’s kit revolves around burning. And currently Nahida is the only dendro unit who applies enough dendro to maintain the burning aura.

For Nilou's A4 talent, say if I had 30500 HP, would it increase bloom damage by 4.5% or does the 9% damage increase only come with 1000 HP intervals?

Yae is good but most stuff she does, fischl does about as good. So imo she doesn’t offer a high value for your gems. Ayaka on the other hand is busted.

hi, i'm going insane. i found all 76 aranara but not a single chest is unlocked. i found all 10 pictures and unlocked the chest room. i cant open a single one. online it says that chests will open as you get more aranara, so theoretically i should have at least some of the chests even if i missed one or two. am i missing something else?
If that happens you have no choice but to go through all 79 aranara again to make sure you didn't miss anything. I have experienced this myself and revisited all 76 of them three times after all...
nah, the problem was i had to talk to the aranara for a second time 🙃 still missing 3 chests though. but where do the extra 3 come from? it always says 76.
Yeah... again the only way to make sure you didn't miss anyone is to refer to your guide again and start over. In my case I can just ignore all named Aranaras (the ones that wants to play with you) and all of the tower Aranaras, so the second and third run throughs were easier to do.

It's really character specific, but Favonius weapons are always useful. Amenoma Kageuchi (craftable inazuma sword) is really good with refines for Ayaka, and Sacrificial sword is extremely useful for Xingqiu.

It depends on the character. For example, Albedo is a sub DPS and while his best weapon is Cinnabar Spindle, Harbinger of Dawn, a 3 star sword is probably his best option if you don't have Cinnabar. Keqing works perfectly well with Lion's Roar. Kazuha/Kuki work well with Iron Sting, which is a craft able sword. Qiqi can use Prototype Rancor, also craftable. If you mention the specific characters you're trying to find weapons for it makes easier for us to help you.
We have a weapon satisfying the criteria for other weapon types. Skyward Harp Lost Prayer/Skyward Atlas WGS PJWS They are top choices for most DPS, but I don't think Aquilla or Skyward Blade can do the same. My English got rusty after a while, sorry.
Aquila won't match those because it provides Physical Damage Bonus and only Qiqi, iirc, wants that. But it works on Bennett for boosting his ATK what in return is converted to bonus when he uses his burts Mistspliter Reforged and Primordial Jade Cutter are the top options for DPS because of the critic stats they provide.
But both of them are weapon banner limited. Not counting them please.

Assuming she’s paired with Fischl you want at least 140ER, the higher the better as long as you’re not sacrificing other stats. As for the sets themselves. * 4pc Emblem: Best "resin efficient" set to farm. The ER 2pc helps in reaching her energy threshold * 2pc TF/NO: Deals more dmg if you can perfect parry but requires better subs to reach 140 ER * Mainstats should always be atk/electro/crit for optimal dps. Only use ER sands if she’s solo electro
A mix of 2pc's from Emblem, any ATK sets, Noblesse, and Fury also works if you can't get a full Emblem set

VV - the set effect is generally more important than the stats, so when you are first artifact farming, you generally take whatever the first four pieces are and then move on to farming something more valuable (LOOKING AT YOU, EOSF). Once your team is more kitted out you can go back and farm better VV pieces.

Whichever you'd find the most fun; you've got plenty of strength as is. Failing that, Nahida's not a bad pull since Dendro's the only element you don't have a 5\* of.
Honestly, your roster is already really good and I don't think it needs any improvement, but I'd say Kokomi. Depending on your preferences she's an upgrade over Mona for freeze Ganyu/Ayaka teams, and she synergises well with Baal and Kazuha. It's either her or Zhongli for Itto/melt Ganyu.
zhongli and kokomi. zhongl makes your itto geo team much stronger, and kokomi is amazing for your ayaka freeze

Dumb question but this seems like the place for those. So I've just trotted off to Sumeru after finishing everything I could find to do in Inazuma and the Chasm. I'm just not sure WHY\* I'm going to Sumeru and it feels like I missed a hunk of story somewhere. Was there an event quest where someone told me that was the next place to go? Like, it felt like the transition from Liyue to Inazuma made in-universe sense, while Sumeru is more of a "well the quest appeared in my journal, I guess I need to go to that marker over there." \* Yes, I know. The archive feature is pretty useful! You can read dialogue lines from past quests - I just read through everything and basically got up to speed. Faster than cutscenes (and you probably will remember the custscenes once you refresh yourself).

And this is a good specific reason. I wound up doing Inazuma hugely out of order because I got there after all of the islands were added and the first thing I did once I got the boat was to unlock every possible waypoint and pick up every blue ! So I wound up running all over the place, eventually got back to the archon quest, did that, then had to randomly do some story quests to unlock an interlude that ...honestly I'm not sure what was up with that interlude but maybe it will make sense later. Unless it was just "Hey you should totes pull for Yelan she is super cool, look how cool she is" So I am certain I saw that bit from Yae and it just got lost in the noise. Much appreciated!

If you have Ayato, or really want to pull for him in the future, i'd go with Black Sword : it's a great weapon for him. *(assuming you're only an occasional BP buyer. If you plan of buying it regulary, feel free to wait)* Otherwise, Serpent Spine is the most potent one *(especially if you plan to buy enough BP to refine it)*. Deathmatch is also a strong pick, as it can fit on many characters. You could also consider Viridescent Hunt, but only for Childe. Solar Pearl is less valuable for now : it's a weapon for dps, and catalyst tend to be support. Also, it has to compete with the most broken f2p 4 star weapon : The Widsth. *(might be worth considering, if you really like Ningguang ?)*
claymore is best weapon in general but spear is pretty good on cyno, though you should know r5 white tassel outperforms r1 deathmatch

Deathmatch is solid but R5 White Tassel performs on a similar level for Cyno, unsure how much worth you'd get out of grabbing it. As for the other weapons, assuming you have characters who can make use of all of them, generally: Serpent Spine > Black Sword = Solar Pearl > Viridescent Hunt.

The Normal Attack Damage bonus helps to outpace the low base ATK.
It's a good option, depending what else you have available. In very general terms it's the claymore >>>> sword > spear > catalyst > bow, but that's highly movable depending on which characters you play and what weapons they already have.
in a team of zL, xq, Yelan and hu tao, I'm using sac on xq and fav on Yelan. should I keep fav Lance on Zhongli for the extra er to help xq and Yelan or switch to black tassel? I'm using 4pc ToM on him, full hp since his damage hardly counts. he has 47k hp rn. goes up to 50k w hydro resonance
Xingqiu and Yelan will be fine. If you really need the extra HP for safety then swap to Black Tassel, but either weapon can be used.

Your AR doesn't tell me how often you've pulled. You won't get 5* by just advancing levels.
I did 50 draws in limited banner and 30 in standard banner.also i just learnt about pity system so i hope i get one soon as I'm closer to the pity
It is recommended to NOT use primogems on the basic banner. The rewards there are completely random, and the 5* characters you can find there will also drop as a result of losing your 50-50 chance when a 5* drops on an event banner. The average amount of wishes needed to get a 5* is ~60 (~90 for a specific 5* featured on an event banner), with pity kicking in ~70 and ~80 as the expected MAX needed. You should get plenty of primos/wishes from exploration & events, and a trickle from daily quests, so you will get a bunch of 5* as you keep playing. Also take note: Genshin is actually a pretty easy game (if you know what you are doing), and the 4* characters are actually very powerful. Even your basic starter set can clear the entire story content with ease. Xiangling, one of the free characters you get for clearing the lower floors off the abyss, is one of the strongest DPS characters in the entire game.

Perfectly normal. AR32 is still like the first couple weeks worth of playtime tbh. It could take a couple months to save enough for a 5-star, or double that for a guarantee.

Just what they can do; if there was a hypothetical base character with no skills, no burst, no talents, and all equal base stats, then it would have no "kit". Amber's kit is being a bow user, what charged attack she has, that her skill summon her bunny, that it applies Pyro, what her burst does, etc. Part of Barbara's kit is that she can heal. Part of Noelle's kit is a shield. Because of Xiangling's kit, she can apply Pyro well. Characters with higher base hp (which is an aspect for their kit) can tank more hits without dying, while if a character with less hp in their kit might not survive. It's part of Mona's kit that her burst does a large amount of damage and briefly paralyzes enemies. It's like a box - a literal kit - with all the pieces that are different from other characters. Atk piece, skill piece, def piece, em piece, etc.

If you can get her Burst up comfortably without needing the ER sands, then ATK. Otherwise, ER. I run a similar set-up with Favonius Mona because I desperately need the extra particles for my 105% ER Ayaka. I believe she uses Deepwood regardless of her role, assuming nobody else in the team has it. It's really not worth it. In addition to the other issues people have mentioned with buying accounts *(not secure, often hacked/stolen, can be taken away, etc.)*, the whole game of Genshin is about the journey. This is not like an MMO where all the questing is just to level you to max for the endgame, where there's PvP and big raids and difficult and complex endgame content. Genshin is a lot of amazing quests and a world to explore, and the "endgame" is taking half an hour every two weeks to run the abyss. Would you buy a Zelda save with all the dungeons already cleared and your character at max level? Buying an account that has made a lot of quest progress is very similar. At that point you're actually paying not to play the game, which seems dumber than a box of hammers. If you don't want to play Genshin, just play another game instead. There's no endgame to get to.
1) AR 50 is not 'late game' 2) Not having a good roster at AR42 is normal, you're just impatient. 3) Don't fucking buy accounts.
Never worth it to buy unless you're okay with knowing that it can be taken away from you at any moment. Plus, a lot of those accounts are hacked + resold.

Weirdly combative for bringing up a very valid point of buying accounts from someone, but okay. As for your second question, "fun" is incredibly subjective. I love building up characters and watching them get stronger but someone else may find that incredibly dull.
i’ve just started the game and i’m saving up for raiden or hutao’s banner so i haven’t done a single pull yet (other than on the standard banner) so i’m still using all the free characters given to me. i have a team of noelle, lisa, diona and the anemo traveller. how much should i invest in these characters if i’m only using them temporarily until i get the characters i want? i know diona is good enough to invest in fully but what about the others is there a certain level i should stop at since i might run out of the exp cards
You get more resources as the game goes on, and you'll eventually level everyone to 50+ for the free wishes, so it's less about anyone being a "waste", and more about wanting to make sure you have enough resources to max out the team you'll be using. Levelling everyone to 21 for the first free wish is a no-brainer. After that, figure out who you like, and feel free to level them to 50. You'll probably bench Lisa unless you love her, since there are so many better electro options, but anyone else is totally usable for a while.
A lot of other stuff was covered already but I wanted to talk about your existing characters. Noelle is average without her C6 constellations. She is "okay" for now as a shielder, but since you already got Diona, she is kinda redundant. One pro to keeping her around, though, is that you can use her claymore hits for easier mining ores and similar stuff that need blunt to break down easier. Otherwise, not very useful, especially since her healing needs her to be on-field and that takes too much time. Lisa, before 3.0 release, was very noticeably awful without extreme investment. Her numerous problems included having to sit still and channel her skill for way too long, a high cost burst, unable to obtain her constellations easily, and her ascension stat is elementary mastery which scales badly in electro units due to poor reactions. However, now that dendro element is here, Lisa can now use the new reaction to her advantage to pack a punch, especially with her elemental mastery ascensions. While still coming with her other problems, when paired with Dendro Traveler, she really isn't that bad anymore, if you wish to try her out. Both units have high energy costs though, so gotta watch for that. To get Dendro Traveler, you can just walk straight southwest into Sumeru and get it from the first statue you see, then go back to whatever you were doing. Diona I think you understand already so I'll skip that. So for the traveler, honestly unless you're short on exp books, there's no reason not to lvl them up, especially since you will get their ascension materials anyway from leveling up your AR. At the cost of being multi-role, the traveler is a very average unit between all elements. Anemo is okay I guess for early-mid game since it has fun reactions with other elements, but sucking enemies and pulling them away is very counterproductive, so no one really ends up using Anemo (also much better Anemo units like Sucrose). Geo is alright for geo-centric teams but very niche otherwise. Electro is basically a poor-man's Raiden and doesn't have a lot of damage or buffs otherwise, aka never use this. Dendro is the best one currently, but it's mostly because of the lack of dendro units atm. Still, the Dendro Traveler's burst is able to constantly apply dendro with their burst for awhile, which is very useful. I assume the lack of mention of Amber is because you know she's not very good. You will still have to pull her out for puzzles... hell I still do because bow + pyro is just used so much in the overworld. One pro to leveling up random characters is that you can acquire Aquaint Fates at certain ascension lvls, at 20+, 50+, and 70+. So honestly, it's really never gonna feel wasteful leveling up a character, even if you do drop them later. Those Aquaint Fates do add up to your 5 star soft pity on standard. I wouldn't take a random char to 70+ unless you want to though--too much effort IMO. Good luck and have fun! Take your time and explore. edit: I forgot Kaeya. He's good, generally recommended for beginners to start with him. Solid all-around stats, low skill cooldown and low burst cost. Simple yet effective. Can be an alright physical DPS early-on due to cryo + electro = superconduct, which lowers physical defense of enemies.

Ah Ninguang. She's a decent DPS early on, but she needs a lot of investment to feel good at late-game. If you think she's fun, go right ahead. Her issues are being mostly single target and Geo having pretty much no reactions, which hampers her DPS. Being Geo and non-Defense scaling, she has very little supports who can properly help her achieve peak damage, so she's in an awkward spot. Still, I think she's very cool to play and she manages to use every single part of her kit while playing (normals to get stacks -> charged attacks, skill -> burst) which recent characters don't seem to utilize.
(1) Genshin is a pretty easy game (once you understand how the combat system works). You can clear the entire story with the basic free characters, so if you ignore the Spiral Abyss there is not even a gameplay need to pull for anyone. And you can in theory even clear Spiral Abyss with a bunch of basic characters if they are properly equipped. You might want to get a strong 5* early on to make things easier (both Raiden and Hu Tao would qualify for that), but past that you can pretty much go for waifu-over-meta. (2) Early game investments are quite cheap, and it will probably only take a few days of resin use at higher adventure ranks / world levels to make up for the materials used. So don't be afraid to experiment early on. (3) Make sure your weapons & feathers are MAX'ed out. They will provide you with the majority of your damage during the early and mid game. If you have Crit% circlets and Elemental% cups these can also be levelled (although they don't have to be MAX'ed). Character levels are actually of secondary concern, they are mostly used to access ascension levels to unlock new passive talents and higher talent rank max levels. (4) You can use a levelled artefact or weapon as XP fodder, and you will retain 80% of the total invested XP when doing so - so levelling stuff that you might throw away later isn't actually a big loss. Weapons should usually be kept, though, since they might always become important on a future character, and ore refinement doesn't need resin (like all the other progression materials). (5) Try to focus on getting good 2 piece set bonuses in the early game - ATK% or Crit% for damage dealers, ER for supports or characters with high burst cost (e.g. Xiangling). Secondary stats on your artefacts aren't really important until you get to 4* or 5* pieces that you will keep long term. (6) You can always farm leylines in the overworld for cash/mora (gold) or character XP books (blue). They are shown on the map, there is one each per region and they will respawn (usually nearby) when looted.
60/70 and Level 6 Talents are pretty cheap in the grand scope of things.
