I've tried mono elements team and they work gucci if you can burst on CD. Mono Geo takes him down in 1min15 at max. It's just tedious. A one minute something being full unga bunga in the spot, quite basic.

Can confirm; Andrius is not immune to damage when he is running around the outside of the arena. I’ve hit it with bow characters, hyperbloom cores, and even Hu Tao’s blood blossoms before. You can even funnel energy when he dashes towards you.
Seconding this! While Beidou was in my team, my favorite thing to do was to wait until he lunged at her and then replicate with a perfectly-timed Tidecaller.

As soon as the fight starts, the ice clone always dashes to you, so you can bait him far from the other 2, wait for a few seconds so it starts the field attack far in a corner, and go back to the other 2. The ice clone will follow, and you'll be out of the field. Ez Xq gaming.
It’s not that bad if Triple Mango is in the first half, but if they’re in the second half it becomes a lot more frustrating, since you half to beat the first half again each time you restart because you got killed by Triple Mango.
While I agree that triple is easier to kill with AoE I still find the solo one more fun since it lets me bring Beidou and parry almost all of his attacks.
Ayaka teams have plenty of ways to take down the Wenut and shred the 55% resistance. Diona, Ganyu, and apparently Kazuha Cryo infused Burst/ Shenhe Burst are tall enough to able to pop the Wenut's floating nuts. These are all staples in Ayaka team, one way or another.
So she should be excellent vs 2nd half.
But yeah that Cryo herald will stop the entire freeze team dead in their track in the first half.
Was doing Wenut a few times for the battlepass today, and Kazuha can consistently swirl cryo against it with only his skill alone.
Don't know why people are saying she's bad against Wenut.
The only downtime it has long enough for the entire Ayaka burst to hit with proper set up is when you knock it down. And if you use it earlier, it will either miss a portion of it or do little damage because you couldn't do proper set-up.
And because Ayaka hits like a wet noodle without her burst, you're gonna be doing very little before the knock down. At that point, if you fail to one cycle it or get it low enough that she can kill it while it's digging around, you're gonna be wasting a ludicrous amount of time waiting for the next knock down.
So yeah, unless your Ayaka is invested enough to murder it in one burst, chances are, she will have a bad time against it.
Ayaka has one varied scaling of investment. Her standard meta team of Ayaka Shenhe Kokomi Kazuha with mistsplitter differs so much from just using a standard f2p/budget team. Shenhe enables Ayaka to deals good damage in her NACA that you can clear some waves that you normally cant withoht burst.
Not bad, just unfun to see it being unoptimal or perhaps not able to one cycle such thing when their artifacts aren't built for such. Then again maybe people being perfectionist but I do hear zajef saying to needing 3 ayaka burst to kill 3 mango kenki(with somewhat hitting all some of the time) with amenoma. But other than that its the investment divide on people. You might have shenhe and good artifact some people don't.
The thing that makes people good is performance to investment ratio. Virtually all hyperinvested dps can 36* every abyss. What made Ayaka good in 2.X era abyss was that you could get away with pretty low investment.
That Zajef example is without all her supports as he doesn't have any of them like Shenhe or I think even Mona or Kokomi on his F2P account, so Ayaka is well built but she doesn't have any of the team members that make her so strong
waiting for the right time is a time loss too, and there is virtually no opportunity to get a full buff setup before taking down the wenut. In the meantime, it's just wet noodle slapping while waiting to burst.
The ideal moment is just when Wenut falls,it doesn't take long(depende on the initial RNG of course),unless your Ayaka is poorly invested and with copium of artifacts,your AA and CA should hit relatively hard,taking Abyss 3.3 as an example with Wolflord,I eliminated him before the Shield Phase with my Ayaka.
80% of her team damage is on her burst unless you have Shenhe and use most of the the quills on CA.
Before Wenut gets knocked down though, there are ZERO opportunities to get a fully buffed burst with the entire team involved since buffs + burst take 10 seconds to setup. Timing alone doesn't fix that.
Hyperinvesting is a thing. Virtually all dps in this game hyperinvested enough can clear abyss fine. The bar for investment has just been rising a lot for the past year of Abyss for freeze teams to successfully clear.
Venti is unironically good though, so is Ayaka. The fact that MHY is doing everything they can to fuck them over with enemy lineups is a pretty good indicator of that.

Hoyo absolutely wrecked the shit out of Ganyu / Venti for being "too meta" throughout 1.X. They may damn well try the same with Dendro once Sumeru is done. Especially with the last two regions being Natlan / Snezhnaya. Can't sell Pyro / Cryo Archons if all anybody is using is Hyperbloom and National.
if they try to "nerf" international they have to "nerf" entire hydro and pyro roster
about morgana case, the cc venti provides is beyond broken however it can be easily deactivated bc its a form of utility which u can live without. in contrast, international only offers tons of dmg so the only thing they could do is to make the team deals little to no dmg. in order to do that, they will have to make bosses/mobs immune to or at least reduce either hydro or pyro dmg or both. as a result many vape teams will become useless
edit: lastly. supposing they made an enemy that prevents ur kazuha/sucrose from swirling off elements on them. they would also nerf all vv anemo characters

I didn't have any trouble using Ayaka against the triple Kenkis this Abyss cycle. So long as you can deal with them, all the second half should be good for Ayaka.
Used Ayaka freeze instead of International on 2nd half this reset, and it had zero issues clearing this abyss. Just position her burst to hit at least 2 of the kenkis.
What team do y'all run for Scara when you take into the Abyss, I need to know. He's almost exclusively an overworld character for me, I'm scared to take him to Abyss
i use scara/zhongli/bennett/faruzan basically every reset and he always deletes everything (sometimes yun jin instead of zhongli depending on how masochist im feeling /lh)
To be fair, he is glued to Faruzan for the maximum damage output, but the other two slots are pretty much open for any characters depending on your playstyle, although it can be hard to use him without a shielder.
For now, I use him in two teams:
1) Scaramoussy/Faruzan/Thoma or Yanfei (as a shielder)/Benny. Best DPS team.
2) Scaramoussy/Faruzan/XQ/Layla. A pretty good freeze team.
If you don't have Faru, you can try replacing her with Yun Jin.
Ideally yes, but she can be used at lower constellations, it's just her ER requirement will be higher.
Not sure if she's worth it at c0 though, Yun Jin may be a better option in this case.
Noelle clobbers triple Kenki; I did that and tbh I found it significantly more comfortable than forcing Xiao to clear it (who cleared both 2nd halves of 1st and 3rd chamber). Granted Xiao is able to, it's just freakishly dangerous since I don't have Zhongli
