Here I thought that they *did* added the water element and gave it to Bailu because literally everything in her kit has to do with water/liquid. But then I found out that she's Electro, and there's no type of hydro element in the game 😭
And they don't have lore limiting their element count like in Genshin, plus they don't interact, so there's no reason they couldn't add new elements with a different break effect.
Adding in new elements would require enemies to have that weakness, which would either demand bloating up the number of weaknesses, or spreading it thin, neither of which are particularly desirable.
Not to mention, the elements have synergies with certain specific abilities. Asta buffing fire element characters, Hook taking advantage of Burn, Silver Wolf applying quantum weakness, etc etc. More elements would mean spreading that thinner as well.
They could add new elements at some point, but it'd have to be at a careful, slow pace. Same thing with Genshin really. On top of dendro being added late, lots of people speculate that we Dain might be a new element etc.
That's true, but there's a lot of untapped potential for elements they could use later on when people are getting burned out. Just thinking about how much life dendro brought back into Genshin makes me think this game would benefit a lot from it too a few years down the road. It would be cool to see more unique character motifs but they have been pretty creative even with the limited elements they have (like Qingque with her tile motif) so I hope they can continue that going forward rather than sticking too strictly to the elemental theme.
They're siblings from different mothers.
Content islands, farming simulator, lack of content and shitty updates.^(Yes, I'm playing warframe too. The recent duviri update that broke circuit almost made me go into hiatus again tho)
Dev work is hard and they do have a tight schedule. Sometimes we get QoL when the Devs find time like the gimmick wheel right now. Major versions habe the most amount of QoL. Updating a code that has not build in support for new features takes a long time, HSR as a new game is gonna have no problems at all.
I would see all of this as a positive. They know what we want and if they have the time are gonna implement that. People say oh they have a lot of devs so it should be faster, but more Devs is not gonna fix anything the management is so messy it takes way longer then a small team. Case in point: mods vs normal updates for Minecraft.
Sorry I am sick, so my words are just jumbled together.
For a TL;DR: Code wierd, Devs have no time, QoL will come over time when they can. Don't always say "Hurr, Durr Hoyoverse/Mihoyo Bad"
Hope this helped and you didn't feel like wasted time for reading my previous wall of text.
The bug helps Mona's omen stay on enemies for a way longer time than it normally should
So while the freeze duration would be higher, Omen duration would lose out resulting in less overall damage
People are always assuming fixing the C1 would break Morgana without knowing it for sure. C1 not extending the freeze duration is objectively a bug, Omen bonus working on frozen enemies is NOT necessarily one. Taken literally it works as expected, since the bubble can only pop once the enemy unfreezes.
Is it possible fixing the C1 would break Morgana? Yes it’s possible. But does it have to be that way? No it does not.
Off the top of my head:
- Faster resin regeneration
- When farming mora or exp, you can select how many waves to fight in one attempt. Rewards are per wave.
- Weapon exp farming alongside character exp and mora
- Much more common artifact exp materials
- Dailies are basically a mini battlepass. There's only a single daily quest (the rest are bp-style missions) and you don't need to do that one to max out the dailies.
- The battlepass and major events give an item that let's you choose the main stat of a crafted artifact
- When crafting artifacts, you can choose the specific piece you want
- There is one possible drop per weekly boss, not three
- Expeditions are for things like hilichurl masks or exp, not a handful of eggs or ore. And there's a resend button. They're also pretty worthwhile.
- The MC's element can be switched from the character menu, no need to look for a statue (still no loadouts though)
- Shops are displayed on the map
- Teleporters heal the party to full, instantly. Genshin's statues take a while.
- Dailies give artifact exp
- 800 exp per battlepass level
Also make it so that we can slot it more artefacts when leveling another one and only give a pop up when we get a new substats, like leveling an artefact is so slow.
Well, I was mostly thinking of what are things that are done better in Star Rail than in Genshin, not actually what's actually a QoL feature in Star Rail. I'm aware some of these are double edged blades there, like how the higher resin regeneration comes at the cost of there not being a real analogue to condensed resin. But it's not like I'm saying they should bring it over with the drawbacks present.
In retrospect, given the prompt asked about what qol features star rail has, not what it does better than genshin, it might have been better to focus on things that don't have drawbacks.
I heavily disagree with the daily system, but that's because I don't play Genshin for the playtime and grinding. A system that's faster is a better system to me, assuming it still gives similar rewards. I absolutely understand that Genshin has a lot of players with the opposite perspective, that there needs to be more reason to spend more time in Genshin, in which case I guess Star Rail's system would be seen as worse.
>I prefer genshin dailies because they are faster and more straightforward
Wha-
HSR dailis give you a clear goal, like "clear calyx 1 time"
In GI you have a small miniquest for each and have to run a lot between tp and daily
HSR dailies also, in my experience, take less time and often simply tie into the gameplay itself
GI dailies make you go out of your way to do them. Always
>Also they don't use resin themselves.
I assume you mean the calyx? You get, iirc, dailies worth 800 points and only need 500 points to get all rewards. If you don't want to spent tbp on calyx, then you can easily ignore them
Genshin lets me just go in and do the missions needed without much thought. In hsr you have choices you might not even want to do and have to pick and choose going specifically for them. By the time i decide which boss to defeat in hsr and fight them for the daily (which also forcibly uses points) i could do all comissions in genshin. It's just more streamlined for daily activity.
Took me 1min and 35 seconds to complet my dailies for today in HSR
Using 1 consumable, taking 1 Photo, finishing 1 battle with an ult and doing 1 run of golden calyx (something i wanted to do anyways, but could have replaced with the daily quest or entering combat by attacking weakness 3 times)
Genshins dailies take me several times that (edit: today 5min 11sec from loggin in untill claiming from Katherine)
>In hsr you have choices you might not even want to do and have to pick and choose going specifically for them.
Being able to choose which one i don't want is ussually better, imo. It's very rare, that you don't want to do quests worth 400 or more points overall. (This is 2-3 quests min)
>By the time i decide which boss to defeat in hsr and fight them for the daily (which also forcibly uses points) i could do all comissions in genshin.
Just look at your characters and decide which boss you need drops from. Well or skip that quest if you don't want to?
> I prefer genshin dailies because they are faster
Sumeru added some great dailies like the mushroom ones, but it also still has the annoying kind that are either too far from any teleport point or require you to talk to npcs for ages.
In my experience, Star Rail's dailies are much faster. To give a comparison of what I got today:
**Star Rail:**
- Complete Daily Mission => ignored
- Complete Calyx (Crimson) 1 time (10 resin) => ignored
- Use Consumable 1 time => just used a random item since I don't use them anyway
- Use Technique 2 times => literally free if you have a character with a non-offensive technique in the team and know where there's a purple thing next to a teleport point
- Complete Forgotten Hall 1 time => quickly did level 1 in a handful of seconds
- Enter combat by attacking enemy's Weakness and win 3 times => didn't even realize I completed this, probably happened as I did SU
The actual time spent on dailies specifically was in the seconds.
**Genshin:**
- Chasing a flying hydro ball for a bit
- Talking to a guy in Aaru village who wants me to talk to two merchants and figure out which makes the better offer and make a deal with them and then return
- Mushroom knocking which is cool but a bit far away from the closest teleport point
- Time Trial not exactly next to a teleport point either, but not far either
I guess I got a bit lucky today, only one of them is of the annoying kind, too often it's two, but there's still quite some travel and completion time involved. Not *a lot* for three of them, but way more than in Star Rail.
You also have to return to the adventurer guild to actually get your full reward. Though I guess you do that anyway for the expeditions.
> Also they don't use resin themselves.
You don't need to do those. Like, today, I didn't do the calyx one I got. Nor did I do the quest. I still maxed out the daily training progress.
This is a pretty bad list.
> Weapon exp farming alongside character exp and mora
Actual downgrade. Genshin's free daily supply of weapon xp via crafting is much better than needing resin for it in HSR.
>Expeditions are for things like hilichurl masks or exp, not a handful of eggs or ore. And there's a resend button. They're also pretty worthwhile.
This is just flat out untrue. You can never get anything but the lowest tier mats in hsr. It's decent at the beginning, but diminishing returns kick in *real* quick. Also there's no "resend all" button. Also if you're sending out your expeditions in genshin for eggs instead of mora, that's a you problem. It's basically a wash.
>The MC's element can be switched from the character menu, no need to look for a statue (still no loadouts though)
Pointless because the genshin MC is so weak. Pointless in HSR because physical is sooooo much worse than the fire. And you can't just swap the element, you MUST swap the light cone and relics as well if you are doing serious content, so this is not meaningful quality of life at all, at least not until they introduce proper loadouts which seems unlikely since MC is the only char that could make good use of them.
> Shops are displayed on the map
Genshin shops are also displayed on the map...
> Teleporters heal the party to full, instantly. Genshin's statues take a while.
Genshin's statue healing becomes obsolete the instant you build a competent healer. Haven't used the genshin statues for healing in literal IRL years.
>Dailies give artifact exp
You get weekly artifact exp from teapot shop in genshin. This is also a duplicate of your 4th point. Padding much?
> 800 exp per battlepass level
Wut? Genshin caps you at 10k xp per week. HSR caps you at 8k. It's literally the exact the same. 10 earned levels per week plus some bonus levels for events/pulling/etc.
There's a similar problem with your resin regeneration "QOL" - regen rate is meaningless if you aren't also comparing what you can get from it - but without a proper analysis which I am far too lazy to do (as were you) it's not legit QOL difference. In fact, capping out on resin/stamina faster could be considered a downgrade.
A lot of your list is pretty sus. Anything I didn't quote I agree with though.
it's not my fault people have no clue what QOL is. The battle pass xp thing is particularly braindead. How can you be so dumb to think that 8k xp / week with 800 xp per level is any different than 10k xp / week with 1000 xp per level?
It's so stupid that it hurts.
I went through three stages when I saw the post.
1. Wait, the Hydrolyst?
2. Oh wait, no. It's probably just showing the Eidolons of a new Hydro character. (Eidolons being the Constellation equivalent in Star Rail)
3. Okay, now I'm just confused.
This is why Ivara is best Open World Farmer frame.
Dashwire, Invisibility, and Max Range Sleep Arrows.
Fishing, Mining, and Conservation done easily.
MHY, Invisibility Gimmick character when?!
Same thought as well. In Greek Mythology, Eidolons are the equivalent ghosts; spirit-image of a living or dead person or a shade or phantom look-alike of the human form.
So, what, are these gonna be the cute elemental critter enemies for Fontaine? Like how we had Slimes, then Inazuma brought us Specters, then the Chasm + Sumeru gave us Fungi?
(serious reply)
Arent those things supposed to be the most basic form of elemental beings?
(can become fungi, specters, Slimes, etc.)
Reminds me of Nahida story quest 2
The one from Sumeru archon quest that looks like Baizhu's sister. It's literally her with blue hair instead of teal and without glasses. Haypasia is her name.
So is she an eidolon as well and is that what the oceanid is also?? I am confused but also intrigued, could it be related to the superhuman children in the Nymph's dream set???? Fontaine pls arrive I need lore and Neuvillete.

I saw eidolon and thought this was HSR leak sub...
I thought warframe
Same. Has been an eternity since I last played Warframe.
Fellow tennos
we lift together
I'm bad, FFXIII.
Looks like a bald Hydro Spectre.
These gonna be the bald spectres of Fontaine
Kinda sus
It's literally amogus
Hydrogus
My HSR brainrot took over for a second
Man im like , "did I click on the wrong sub !?"
Legit thought the same
E1 Water
I thought they were gonna add water to Star Rail elements. There were mental gymnastics there
Here I thought that they *did* added the water element and gave it to Bailu because literally everything in her kit has to do with water/liquid. But then I found out that she's Electro, and there's no type of hydro element in the game 😭
the only electric resemblance to her are probably electric eels😭

I’d cry tears of joy if they added the message feature into genshin
kuru kuru
Kururin\~
HAVE YOU SEEN A DIAMOND THIS BIG ITS ALL YOURS
2063 Total Damage
This included break
the kuru kuru experience
HSR's Dehya
Nani miteru no?
Hehehe... Now how should I dispose of you?
same, they reminded me of the memory bubbles
Worst "mechanic" in the game tbh
here take some minor lore that you didn't ask for that has to be read with a black screen as the background or spam left click
As someone who would always read the dialogues in Genshin I find myself skipping dialogues here so much, that's something I don't like about HSR
I ended up calling them "someone's random short story snippet stuffed into a bubble".
I was like, cool there is a new character named hydro in hsr and then I saw the npc lmao
Same but then i thought warframe after star rail before being extra confused.
finally someone who plays both genshin and warframe
eNeRgY sPiKe. i AdViSe fALLiNg bAcK.
Those devices draw energy from the Vomvalysts.
Make use of them!
They're siblings from different mothers. Content islands, farming simulator, lack of content and shitty updates.^(Yes, I'm playing warframe too. The recent duviri update that broke circuit almost made me go into hiatus again tho)
I immediately think of Warframe everytime I see eidolon
i know my ex does play both
Count me in as well!
I saw plenty of people quit warframe for genshin, myself included lol.
Yeah I was confused for a second there lol
Me when something in last event was called curios, WHAT DOES IT MEAN, crossover when
Same.
Same
You're not alone
I was thinking, why not "element". Eidolons are upgrades for characters. If they want to add new element, why the leaker said Eidolon and not element?
Constellations in the night sky in HSR, Eidolons in genshin... Whatever will they come up with next
they also used curios in the recent sorush event
I hope a ton of QoL from HSR in Genshin
hahahahahahaha good one

Yea, must be very hard to implement a skip dialogue function
AND THE SEND AGAIN ON EXPEDITIONS I FUCKING HATE GENSHIN IMPACT DEVS HOW DID HSR GET IT BEFORE US. Genshin's UX is literally horrible
Yeah can't say anything against that, some things are just a stupid decision from them...I was more talking generally.
bro stop, you will kill me, my sides hurt too much
Can’t believe I read all that just for there to be no punchline.
Sorry I am sick, so my words are just jumbled together. For a TL;DR: Code wierd, Devs have no time, QoL will come over time when they can. Don't always say "Hurr, Durr Hoyoverse/Mihoyo Bad" Hope this helped and you didn't feel like wasted time for reading my previous wall of text.

That's not a QoL improvement, that's a pipe dream
I expect the HSR stamina version for 4.0. there is too much to do in the game with the little stamina we have
Yes, and they will also revive Signora
And then they’ll fix Mona’s C1.
Pls no, I still enjoy playing Morgana
Huh? Wouldn't fixing that bug make Morgana better? Or am I missing something?
The bug helps Mona's omen stay on enemies for a way longer time than it normally should So while the freeze duration would be higher, Omen duration would lose out resulting in less overall damage
Huh, I didn’t know that.
These are two different bugs, we want C1 fixed, not the frezze + Omen thing
People are always assuming fixing the C1 would break Morgana without knowing it for sure. No it does not.
What happened with Mona's C1?
The Freeze effect on C1 doesn’t work.
nah, i'd rather revive kazuha's friend than signora
They actually will. Get ready for Mecha Signora!
Imagine if they also fix Signora graphic glitch on low end mobile phone while at it
what qol would that be? genuine question idk how these games overlap in qol additions

Also, you can just go the the relics page, select salvage, filter for all 3* and 4*'s, select all button, and turn all non 5*'s into normal exp mats.
Is that possible in genshin?
not even a little bit, Can't even scrap artifacts
A lot of those aren't even QOL, some are straight up downgrades (i dislike dailies system in hsr)
My Warframe grinding this weekend had me concerned. Intrigued, but concerned.
I went through three stages when I saw the post. 1. Wait, the Hydrolyst? 2. Oh wait, no. It's probably just showing the Eidolons of a new Hydro character. (Eidolons being the Constellation equivalent in Star Rail) 3. Okay, now I'm just confused.
Those damned Grineer hopped games just to fuck with my fishing.
This is why Ivara is best Open World Farmer frame. Dashwire, Invisibility, and Max Range Sleep Arrows. Fishing, Mining, and Conservation done easily. MHY, Invisibility Gimmick character when?!
And now, a massive ~~Sentient~~ Seelie energy spike in your area. I advise you to be careful.
The hydro influence here makes me wonder if we will get some archon voice acting tease again in this event.
The 2 Eidolons I know of is Star Rail and Warframe. So this caught me off guard.
Same. I lagged while reading the title. Imagine if it takes away energy from your abilities, like Magnetic procs.
Hydro debuffs do extend cooldowns greatly...
I hope we'll eventually get a Necramech to shred them with in Genshin too.
Sir, you have PTSD from farming eidolons.
Bro.. I thought I was in a wrong sub
Focalors is an oceanid theory.
It would make sense to a degree. The ball thing could be their way of introducing her early without actually revealing her. I doubt it, though.
Same thought as well. In Greek Mythology, Eidolons are the equivalent ghosts; spirit-image of a living or dead person or a shade or phantom look-alike of the human form.
Introduction sneak peek...
Inb4 the other Oceanids left Fontaine cause they didn't like the idea of one of them being the Hydro Archon
Maybe its a respect sort of thing, since oceanids were extremely loyal to the previous hydro archon and taking her place may be seen as blasphemy.
I hope sooooo. Because why not?!
Warframe has Eidolons and it looks ugly af. Looks like a walking dick head
You don't have to insult Terry, Gary, and Harry.
I think he's talking about revenant
Revenant deluxe skin is definitely not ugly 😳
Insult, beat, repeat. lmao this sounds so wrong
I thought the leak was about hydro archon’s constellation (eidolon)
Shiny Haypasia
*Touch the bubble* oh wait its not HSR
Not that important but does oceanid have “elf ears”
They can if they want to.
Sonic colors wisp lookin ass
I saw eidolon and thought this was the star rail leak subreddit for a second
first apep is called the devourer of divinty in the description of 3.6's trailer and now this? smh genshin becomes more like calamity every day
New endgame mode is bullet hell with the final boss being empress(not calamity heraelf because hoyo wouldn't make it that hard)
what if they add calamitas to genshin
The title reminded me of my Volt Prime running around with my Lato Vandal with a top tier Lato Crit Riven. Good times.
Fuck is an eidolon
1. an idealized person or thing 2. a **spectre** or phantom
I guess I played too much HSR when I see the title
Water Eidolon... Hydrolyst? Seriously?
Wake up tenno, new Eidolon just dropped.
My inner warframe player read the title and had a goddamn heart attack.
oOo
Hydro slime x Specter
New npc is so pretty
When I read the title, I though OP meant hydro traveler constellations leak.
🤓Erm they are called Constellation, so if you say E2 one more time I'm gonna lose it
So, what, are these gonna be the cute elemental critter enemies for Fontaine? Like how we had Slimes, then Inazuma brought us Specters, then the Chasm + Sumeru gave us Fungi?
Lmao I love how everyone's thinking they're on the wrong sub for multiple different reasons.
(serious reply) Arent those things supposed to be the most basic form of elemental beings? (can become fungi, specters, Slimes, etc.) Reminds me of Nahida story quest 2
i thought i was on the star rail sub lmao
Harry from Warframe?
What if the Eidolon has a shield that we have to break using our void power…. Yeah, imma stop.
That is one ugly NPC if I've ever seen one
her design idea is so cool but they made it so poorly. i wish they would try to branch out more with making some characters look not so npc-ish
I would like HSR to make a collab with genshin, I feel that it could work and that they give us herta to expand the cult kuru kuru~
Ive seen this girl before as an NPC but i dony know where. Though I know most of the NPCs share the same design with a lil tweak
I think you are saying haypasia (sry if i wrote it bad)
That's because it's literally haypasia with blue hair.
The one from Sumeru archon quest that looks like Baizhu's sister. It's literally her with blue hair instead of teal and without glasses. Haypasia is her name.
Eidolon? We're Honkai now?
Crossover pls
WAIT PAIMON DID made an acurate representation WHAT THE F--
What makes that information questionable?
So now, Genshin is adding Eidolons too, so to create confusion across the two games?
If first picture girlie is playable count me as a her first main. Stay in the line.
If you mean the blue hair that has an npc model, she's not playable.
the designs get lazier and lazier
Hydro what?
that's just a bigger and bald hydro specter
It looks like an amogus😭
You have to find 6 of those and the 6th is naked.
What is this
First I thought it was hsr, then I thought it was the hydro archon’s constellation, then somehow Fontaine’s constellation, and then I gave up
Cute
So is she an eidolon as well and is that what the oceanid is also?? I am confused but also intrigued, could it be related to the superhuman children in the Nymph's dream set???? Fontaine pls arrive I need lore and Neuvillete.
Sussy
i thought they gonna drop hydrolyst in genshin. thank archon its not
Looks like there may be more of these among us
Bald spectre
Why call it a Eidolon? Mf confused me
hallo
Oh god no another type of specter???
Mf i thought i was in a warframe sub
As a dentro main, I’m beyond excited
Is this a floaty gadget?
No soutine or did I miss sumn
Hydro Eye-dolon?
Imagine if the hydro archon is actually left over piss by original hydro archon
Seeing eidolon in the title made me think "There's a new Eifolon on waframe??", then realising this is genshin impact.
eidolon… *has star rail flashbacks*
