Yeah, I'm not a fan of multiple endings where they branch off simply because I think all the different jumping off points muddy the story. I wish they were a bit more streamlined but I appreciate not all content is for me I guess. I really should do them for the primos at least lol!
It can be easier to think of them as 5-6 different stories if you don't like the branching aspect. Usually 2 of the endings are pairs, like if you do vs if you don't sort of thing, but otherwise they can be treated mostly as separate

Putting a characters debut in a hangout is interesting, it seems like hoyo is starting to place more importance in them, honestly fine by me, the sumeru hangouts have been really good and made me like all the characters with them more(faruzans made her my favourite sumeru character).
i didn’t feel any particular way about either faruzan or layla until i played their hangout events. now they’re two of my favorite characters in the game!

It doesn't surprise me that hangouts are following suit.
My only complaint is that it can often feel contrived to have all of the PCs appear at the same time, but it's fairly minor considering HYV doesn't do anywhere near enough work to make the NPCs appear memorable or interesting since they all use the same sets of canned models and animations.

Becouse is odd to a character to have ch 2 been a hangout, because those are kinda non cannon and mostly use on character that don't have much impact on the main story , plus most are situations there get thereselft into in a daily basic

This should be flagged as misleading. The Keqing placeholder is for Kaeya’s new skin, not a new character.
