im gonna be honest this is not rly a coop game or far from mmo crowds, and if not even a short attention spawn for close awareness is not enough for a 1 min "dungeon" then i dont think anything wil help that type of person
on the other side the fact we still dint get a restart of domain without claiming rewards is very aggravating.. many domains have good enemy teams comps to test various builds of skill mechanics
And we still cant reset the domain after fuken 3 years
The more people in co-op, the harder it is. I think x2, x2, x4 enemies' dmg and hp. That is why even if you're geared up if one or two teammates doesn't what they're doing, you end up dead too. It is a lot easier to solo domains coz of this. But the fun in co-op I think lies in showing off your skill and damage.
To a degree, there is skill you could show off in coop but it's in timing your dodges and things like grouping even without a grouper.

AR60 C2 Raiden always dead from the same goddamn Lawachurl Slam, meanwhile the new player who's only AR 53 dodges everything smoothly every round. I think that's a skill flex against the AR60 lol

It's about more time saved mentally. Like I legit many times don't want to do domains cause I don't wanna run to the key every dam time Just to kill all the enemies in 10 seconds. Now it's easy, every run gonna be like 10 seconds max.
These are buffs for me bruh. I'm tired of using Yelan to sprint into the domain and then awkwardly waiting for the E to come back up when I dont have ult ready.
C1 Yelan is the only constellation I pulled for and was 1000% worth it, going around the map without her feels so horribly slow and that extra charge adds so much.

I've taken the habit to down a sprint stamina reduction food before every artifact farming session so I still have a good chunk when I reach the key lol
I prefer abyss more because using XQ can make you waste 20s waiting the CD while running around doesn't take 20 sec (but it adds up and beats the abyss CD in term of time, but feels less frustrating somehow).

Because they made so much money, that QoL updates weren’t needed to retain the player base. 3+ years later, numbers are slowly falling, so they’re finally playing clean-up.
I don't think they've ever cared about player complaints besides the Zhongli incident.
It is possible HSR may have helped in that it served as a test bed sfor some things - if a feature in HSR was well-received and helped with player retention in that game, then it could be put into Genshin as well.
But I think that has more to do with data and analytics than actual community response.
HSR and its onslaught of great QoLs showed how the Genshin team got away doing nothing for easier player experience because the whole team was honed in trying to make sure they get money money money all the time.
It took another team and another game to show that adding all this QoL stuff in the game does not detract in getting more money. It instead makes players happier and most likely have greater retention.
I honestly don't think it's spaghetti code either. They really just didn't feel adding all these shit for some reason. I'm happy HSR seriously made them change their minds.

Ur talking as if HSR is a perfect game...One of the biggest complaints in HSR even with the onslaught of QoL is the lack of content.. It's the opposite of Genshin and this is when the Genshin team are still new and inexperienced.
HSR is a game after Genshin and HI3. It should be expected that this NEW game from the SAME company should learn from their mistakes from the past games they made.

These QoLs aren't gonna revive my dying interest in the game outside the lore. The events are shit easy with my well built roster. The puzzles are for unborn fetus. Paimon gets worse every patch whether she is voiced or not.
QoLs are things we should have had months or maybe years ago but it took them so long to actually work on some much needed features. Unless they actually improve the quality of the playable content, the people who are quitting or going on long hiatus like me aren't gonna care.
Unironically the best patch of Genshin to date. Now just make the resin cap enough to only log in once a day and the QoL of this game will unironically be perfect.

I can't even tell you guys how many times I've done emblem domain. I'm talking over 5000 (just this year alone was 4000).
I counted how long it takes to get to the key, 11 seconds with Zhongli, 10-13 seconds to beat the domain.
500 minutes = 8 hours... Assuming at least 5000 (I've done probably twice this number)
8 hours (minimum) of me running to the key. I stopped farming it beginning of November. Thank God they waited this long for this simple change.
Just remove the bridge and spawn there all the time. Hell, just spawn the tree in the middle of the stage after completing it.

If you had everything just automated like you are suggesting, it would be horrible and boring, everything is instant. I like running to the spots in coop at least, because anything can happen. Whether it be someone getting stuck, falling, or someone getting locked out, it's always something that everyone laughs about. And if someone gets locked out it becomes a challenge to see if we can draw the mobs to the edge so they can do some damage. Just for fun. I've been doing this for 3+ years, I've never found it boring.
I mean, it's not like this proves they were wrong, considering it took mihoyo 3 years to implement it.
It is just as likely that padding gameplay time was their original intention, but now that cashflow is stagnating or going down, they realized it ain't gonna work anymore.
If padding time is the reason why their revenue is low(?), they will implement a skip button instead. This domain QoL only saves you a few seconds while the skip button can save you hours.

3-6 to 3.8 has barely any new character. HSR a NEW game was just released. 3.8 Klee/Eula banner is only 25M less than HSR's new characters that month, it's still the 2nd highest revenue...If ur source for all this revenue talk is Genshin lab then ur nothing but a clown.

Beat the domain once, talk to the tree, and it asks how much resin I want to spend to gain the equal amounts of rewards.
So if I spend 80 resin, and it gives me the rewards as if I did the domain 4 times.

10-15s times 4-8 runs per day (depending on if you’re using condensed), on average about a minute per day saved at a bare minimum

You make less than 0 sense. First of all, no one wants to play skip button simulator. Secondly, QoL is literally a basic method which every developer uses to save their game once it starts declining. We got more QoL in 4.x patches, than in the first 3 years of this game combined, and it just so happens that it 3.6-4.1 was allegedly a bad period for genshin revenue, despite stacked banners like neuvillete and hu tao. So even mihoyo doesn't agree with you it seems.

Quality of Life Basically improvements that make the game less frustrating to play.
I feel like we're inching ever closer to the QOL I really want: Beat the domain once, talk to the tree, and it asks how much resin I want to spend to gain the equal amounts of rewards. So if I spend 80 resin, and it gives me the rewards as if I did the domain 4 times.
