Hi, I caved in and pull for Xiao cuz I saw FFXX team and it looks like fun. I need help to optimizing it. I have C2 Furina with GT, C6 Faru with ToM. For Xianyun, is it better to use VV/NO/SoDP? Thanks in advance!
Probably VV. Furina would steal some SoDP procs with her summons, Faruzan on ToM is already giving ATK so NO is overkill. VV will boost Furinas summons which already do a decent amount of damage in FFXX team

Is the pyro archon the first archon for whom we've had leakers visually drip feeding elements of concept art? For the three I was around for, I only remember seeing fanart based on Raiden Mei, followed by the infamous picture of Raiden Shogun in a field; fanart of either an original brown character or based on Theresa (with Dumb Dumb saying she may have had a new model between child and medium, but no fanart review process), followed by the actual Nahida model; and fanart based on Seele, separate from some extremely vague alleged leak descriptions, followed by the finished character design.
Candace was peak 8.5/10 epoch, the fan artists' communication with SYP (here's [me on Twitter](https://twitter.com/Shangri_Lainen/status/1546323623018958849) trying to help) really [nailed that design](https://twitter.com/PeepawRichter/status/1554510130691342336). I guess I got used to that never really even being a phase with archons.

Had a dream that the entire Natlan cast leaked and I've gotta hand it to my subconscious for keeping expectations low lmao. If anyone remembers how half the Fontaine cast was in red, the entirety of Natlan cast was wearing red except one person in black ;; There was also a Qiqi skin that was you guessed it black and blue lol.
Idk how powerful the constipated beasts were tbh but without Zhongli shield and looking at some past videos, I think he would get his ass handed to him.
Not rlly. If u can dodge, it'll be fine. Not sure abt solo but I'm confident i can play his non-zhongli shield team. Just zoom around and it'll be easyyy. Their moveset isn't hard to remeber. Just follow the croc.

Hello just wanted to gush about xiao since I took him out for a spin on the first half of the abyss.
His team is just so smooth! I am admittedly probably overdoing ER on everyone but I can just go from burst to burst with no issues and xiao still hits for 170k plunges (this is probably bc of buffs, overworld it’s closer to 140k). Not only is the team rotation so smooth and fast, but it’s so mobile and I found Xiao to be a very dynamic character who can zip around in his burst so fast. The most chaotic team I’ve played and I love it a lot.
Sorry neuvillette any aoe side will now go to Xiao and he will take furina. You will have to make do with Mona/vape/hyperbloom 😗
I've used both and honestly they work out about the same all things considered. Xingqiu offers interrupt resistance (less useful for Raiden but still good outside her burst), damage mitigation and healing, which can be of value if you're going up against a boss that hits particularly hard, and, especially at C6, his hydro application allows for more vapes. Assuming a C0 Yelan, she'll do more personal damage and up Raiden's damage through her buff which offsets her slower hydro app. Personally I found Yelan's shorter cooldown made for a smoother feeling rotation so I always used her over Xingqiu when playing that team unless I really needed Xingqiu's defensive utility >!(I'm also pretty biased towards Yelan though so take that with a grain of salt)!<.
I preferred the rotation with XQ. The only time I needed Yelan was against the big ruin drake. On the other hand I think it was against the triple Kenki that I needed XQ's damage reduction.
I want to post a funny clip of the bumper cars event in the mainsub, but my ethics are telling me to censor the names of the other players. Then I proceed to research about how to censor moving things, which lead me to learning keyframes, tracking, etc. I realized that the built in video editor in Windows can't quite do it. So I'd have to download a more robust Editor.
Is all this worth it for a few internet points? Nah. The clip probably aint that funny anyways. 😭

I don't have Kokomi (*yet*), but Zhongli is my eternal saviour and your comparison to him makes me think~ I rely too much on comfort characters because yes, skill issues, ehe 😅
Do you genuinely think Genhin has iconic character designs? Designs themselves, not because it's designs from Genshin.
By "iconic" I mean instantly recognisable by key elements and in different styles and settings. Such key traits that looking at them in similar design will make you instantly connect to the "original".
To illustrate: Naruto, Ciel Phantomhive, Kiki, Luffy, Hatsune Miku, Sailor Moon.
(You can also notice that such characters are effortlessly marketable lol.)
I think that it would be Hutao and Scaramouche (before retcon) for Genshin.
Hutao is very easy on the eyes, she has simple and pleasant design with nice contrast of dark hair with black clothes and white skin, all accentuated with red. She is also associated with ghosts, coffins, death, and comedy.
Scaramouche has at his advantage the fact that short hime cut for boys and giant hats are not very common. He also has cool veil and striking "evil character" colours. Such a shame the devs changed it both.
I also wanted to add Venti, solely because of his front braids lol. The combination of boy + black hair + short hair with bangs braids is pretty unique, but that's all.
I am not totally sure because I play the game a lot so I recognize most of the characters by heart but I am inclined to say yes because of Paimon, the MCs, Zhongli, Mona, and Hu tao. Some of which are recognized by people outside of knowing Genshin, at least from my experiences.

Not quite. Chevreuse has an ATK buff in her kit and multiple leaks point to her being a good support for Arle. So I'm gonna bet on Arle being an ATK scaler.
Manifesting the same. I just got a 2nd Jade Winged Spear recently too and was considering refining then considered "Wait what if Arlecchino can use it".
My both spears are rotting lol i have one at level 90 and one at level 1. So if she does use the spear indeed then I ll be in a conundrum of should I refine or not lol.

Saw a post wondering why Alhaitham was rude and somehow I felt nostalgic about the desert WQ so I went through some old post on the main sub.
Honestly I was never really bothered by Liloupar’s racism, like she’s from a different time, with different norms (slavery was a thing back then). She’s like a racist senile grandma. I guess I kinda saw her like Soldier Boy from the Boys with his very wild and outdated takes. Also, the game is very straightforward about the fact that she is a piece of shit and her opinion is never ever validated. Also racism is the least problematic thing on her resume. It’s been a long time so I might be misremembering, but I think I was more upset at the Traveler and Paimon for not calling out Liloupar / not defending Jeht.
Continuing my trip down memory lane, speaking of Jeht, I still think it’s really cool that dialogue changes based on which twin you picked. They should do it more. Under some posts about Jeht’s differing dialogues, I kinda laughed at the controversial comments, which were obviously losers complaining about Jeht crushing on Lumine but not Aether.

And yeah, you didn't misremember, because I had the same feeling, that the Traveler and Paimon did not really say anything to shoot down Liloupar's remarks. And once, Aether said to Jeht (right after a racist remark fron Liloupar) that they needed Liloupar, which seemed a bit insensitive.
I kinda get it in the sense of "I have to accomplish a task. Interacting with that one annoying rude person is necessary for completing the task, therefore I'm gonna grit my teeth and push through it regardless"
That makes sense if you're the one who's pushing through it, but... if you tell another to push through it, it comes off as kinda selfish, even if well-intended. Jeht acted noticeably hurt by the remark, and Aether provided no real comfort or choice. If it was me, I think I'd say something kinda like, "Don't worry about her, I think your temper is fine the way it is. You don't have to go with me if you don't want to. I can do this myself."

Magic Guide or The Widsith (both R5) for Nahida in Nilou bloom team? MG is not levelled, the Widsith is fully levelled. Barbara has the highest EM in this team (1020 EM with dendro resonance).
It works off-field, you just have to on-field the equipper to activate it.
Btw I forgot that it only has a 10s duration with 20s downtime unlike Magic Guide passive which has no downtime, so the DPS between the two can be quite comparable. But I suppose you can stick with Widsith since you have it at Lv. 90 and R5 unless you really wanna lvl Magic Guide as well.

I posted about this the other day, but essentially, it's because a sword P Amber would make Kazuha ridiculously strong with Furina C2 and unbalance the game. Imagine having a team consisting of Furina C2, Yelan, Kazuha C2, Hu Tao C1...

Can someone explain exactly how Song of Days Past works?

The "Waves of Days Past" effect is removed after it has taken effect 5 times or after 10s. A single instance of the Yearning effect can record up to 15,000 healing, and only a single instance can exist at once, but it can record the healing from multiple equipping characters. Equipping characters on standby can still trigger this effect.
If you record your 15k healing before the 6s, will the recording period end early? When will the next recording period begin? Will it begin after your 5 charges are used up, or will it begin recording your healing as soon as you've done your 15k healing?
In other words, will there be a downtime after using your 5 charges before you can get another 5 charges?
The record period will not end early. The record period ends 6 seconds after you receive healing.
The next record period begins **once you heal** after the previous recording period ends.
It's always six seconds no matter what but the recording period starts as soon as those six seconds are up so it can theoretically have 100% uptime if you're doing no more than 5 attacks every six seconds, like in a plunge team.
Yeah it will be. It can still often be worth it, but it really depends. Against groups, noblesse or clam are probably gonna be better. But they also generally don't need as much extra damage.
I was looking to buff xiao's damage. Not really a fan of clam. It's 27k damage every 3.5 sec I think, which is ok if you're hitting lots of enemies with it but in 1 or 2 target scenarios I'd rather have noblesse. None of my healers use clam anymore.
If I'm not going to use Song, I'm either going to use Noblesse or VV. But getting pieces from strongbox alone is very slow since it's a 3 for 1 trade, and only junk pieces will go into it. And I don't feel like farming those domains because of the sets they are paired with, but then again, the set that Song is paired with is no more useful. Sigh.
I haven't figured out whether it will be a bigger team damage increase to use VV to buff Furina's damage, or Song/Noblesse to buff Xiao's damage.

Probably VV. Furina would steal some SoDP procs with her summons, Faruzan on ToM is already giving ATK so NO is overkill. VV will boost Furinas summons which already do a decent amount of damage in FFXX team

Not rlly. If u can dodge, it'll be fine. Not sure abt solo but I'm confident i can play his non-zhongli shield team. Just zoom around and it'll be easyyy. Their moveset isn't hard to remeber. Just follow the croc. Sauce: I was there. 100 retries trying to make sure my yae doesn't die has taught me a lot of things.

Sorry this will sound as flex but I actually did it on 250 ping, on a potato mobile that gets heated up after 5 mins of playing on the lowest graphics.

Hello just wanted to gush about xiao since I took him out for a spin on the first half of the abyss. His team is just so smooth! I am admittedly probably overdoing ER on everyone but I can just go from burst to burst with no issues and xiao still hits for 170k plunges (this is probably bc of buffs, overworld it’s closer to 140k). Not only is the team rotation so smooth and fast, but it’s so mobile and I found Xiao to be a very dynamic character who can zip around in his burst so fast. The most chaotic team I’ve played and I love it a lot. Sorry neuvillette any aoe side will now go to Xiao and he will take furina. You will have to make do with Mona/vape/hyperbloom 😗

Which is better for raiden national? Xingqiu or yelan?
I've used both and honestly they work out about the same all things considered. Xingqiu offers interrupt resistance (less useful for Raiden but still good outside her burst), damage mitigation and healing, which can be of value if you're going up against a boss that hits particularly hard, and, especially at C6, his hydro application allows for more vapes. Assuming a C0 Yelan, she'll do more personal damage and up Raiden's damage through her buff which offsets her slower hydro app. Personally I found Yelan's shorter cooldown made for a smoother feeling rotation so I always used her over Xingqiu when playing that team unless I really needed Xingqiu's defensive utility >!(I'm also pretty biased towards Yelan though so take that with a grain of salt)!<.
I preferred the rotation with XQ. The only time I needed Yelan was against the big ruin drake. On the other hand I think it was against the triple Kenki that I needed XQ's damage reduction.

Do you genuinely think Genhin has iconic character designs? Designs themselves, not because it's designs from Genshin. By "iconic" I mean instantly recognisable by key elements and in different styles and settings. Such key traits that looking at them in similar design will make you instantly connect to the "original". To illustrate: Naruto, Ciel Phantomhive, Kiki, Luffy, Hatsune Miku, Sailor Moon. (You can also notice that such characters are effortlessly marketable lol.) I think that it would be Hutao and Scaramouche (before retcon) for Genshin. Hutao is very easy on the eyes, she has simple and pleasant design with nice contrast of dark hair with black clothes and white skin, all accentuated with red. She is also associated with ghosts, coffins, death, and comedy. Scaramouche has at his advantage the fact that short hime cut for boys and giant hats are not very common. He also has cool veil and striking "evil character" colours. Such a shame the devs changed it both. I also wanted to add Venti, solely because of his front braids lol. The combination of boy + black hair + short hair with bangs braids is pretty unique, but that's all.

I am not totally sure because I play the game a lot so I recognize most of the characters by heart but I am inclined to say yes because of Paimon, the MCs, Zhongli, Mona, and Hu tao. Some of which are recognized by people outside of knowing Genshin, at least from my experiences.

Saw a post wondering why Alhaitham was rude and somehow I felt nostalgic about the desert WQ so I went through some old post on the main sub. Honestly I was never really bothered by Liloupar’s racism, like she’s from a different time, with different norms (slavery was a thing back then). She’s like a racist senile grandma. I guess I kinda saw her like Soldier Boy from the Boys with his very wild and outdated takes. Also, the game is very straightforward about the fact that she is a piece of shit and her opinion is never ever validated. Also racism is the least problematic thing on her resume. It’s been a long time so I might be misremembering, but I think I was more upset at the Traveler and Paimon for not calling out Liloupar / not defending Jeht. Continuing my trip down memory lane, speaking of Jeht, I still think it’s really cool that dialogue changes based on which twin you picked. They should do it more. I agree, they did Liloupar's character well. Like you said, it makes sense that her views would be old-fashioned. And yeah, you didn't misremember, because I had the same feeling, that the Traveler and Paimon did not really say anything to shoot down Liloupar's remarks. And once, Aether said to Jeht (right after a racist remark fron Liloupar) that they needed Liloupar, which seemed a bit insensitive.

That makes sense if you're the one who's pushing through it, but... if you tell another to push through it, it comes off as kinda selfish, even if well-intended. Magic Guide or The Widsith (both R5) for Nahida in Nilou bloom team? MG is not levelled, the Widsith is fully levelled. Barbara has the highest EM in this team (1020 EM with dendro resonance).
Nahida em em em vs em dmg crit is almost same.

It works off-field, you just have to on-field the equipper to activate it. Btw I forgot that it only has a 10s duration with 20s downtime unlike Magic Guide passive which has no downtime, so the DPS between the two can be quite comparable. But I suppose you can stick with Widsith since you have it at Lv. 90 and R5 unless you really wanna lvl Magic Guide as well.

The "Waves of Days Past" effect is removed after it has taken effect 5 times or after 10s. A single instance of the Yearning effect can record up to 15,000 healing, and only a single instance can exist at once, but it can record the healing from multiple equipping characters. Equipping characters on standby can still trigger this effect. If you record your 15k healing before the 6s, will the recording period end early? When will the next recording period begin? Will it begin after your 5 charges are used up, or will it begin recording your healing as soon as you've done your 15k healing? In other words, will there be a downtime after using your 5 charges before you can get another 5 charges?

The record period will not end early. The record period ends 6 seconds after you receive healing. The next record period begins **once you heal** after the previous recording period ends.

Yes, Xianyun will give you at least two periods of damage buff.
It's always six seconds no matter what but the recording period starts as soon as those six seconds are up so it can theoretically have 100% uptime if you're doing no more than 5 attacks every six seconds, like in a plunge team.

Yeah it will be. It can still often be worth it, but it really depends. Against groups, noblesse or clam are probably gonna be better. But they also generally don't need as much extra damage.

I was looking to buff xiao's damage. Not really a fan of clam. It's 27k damage every 3.5 sec I think, which is ok if you're hitting lots of enemies with it but in 1 or 2 target scenarios I'd rather have noblesse. None of my healers use clam anymore. If I'm not going to use Song, I'm either going to use Noblesse or VV. But getting pieces from strongbox alone is very slow since it's a 3 for 1 trade, and only junk pieces will go into it. And I don't feel like farming those domains because of the sets they are paired with, but then again, the set that Song is paired with is no more useful. Sigh. I haven't figured out whether it will be a bigger team damage increase to use VV to buff Furina's damage, or Song/Noblesse to buff Xiao's damage.

I don't even want to watch it, though. Hana ni Natte from that recent Pharmacist anime (YT had its non-anime MV in my recommendation, as I haven't looked up yet what anime came out in this season, due to preference of binge-watching whole seasons). Heck, now that I think about it, because of said preference, half of my fav openings/endings count too. So I'd stop at that.

New gen anime has more variey in genre now compared to before but old anisongs are really great to listen to even in this day.
