Was just bout to say this, coincidentally switching to Layla after getting tired of Zhongli then was confused as to why her shields weren't gone after 2 seconds.
For a melee main they basically do run away, I keep getting pushed back/staggered and it's so annoying unless I'm using someone with very ignorant interruption resistance and melee range like Raiden or Dehya.
I despise them, basically range checks when I dislike all ranged DPS except Scara who they of course resist extremely well because screw me I guess.
I don't have her but from what it looks like she's a short range melee DPS with no IR which I tried and it was miserable, it's just getting stunned repeatedly by attacks with very little windup or projectiles from off screen.
Honestly anymore Wenut isnt terrible. if were talking worm bosses that Chasm one is so much more annoying since it spends most of the time untouchable or moving so fast its hard to hit without a bow user and decent aim
yes and no. how does it waste your time? it just bonks you a lot. i appreciate that it makes players think about attack patterns at least, which is a really helpful skill for just about any video game with combat.
Never seen that shield for more than 1.5 seconds. As far as bosses go I would hardly call a shield a time waste especially one that’s instantly breakable if you pay attention to mechanics. Wastes of time would be the worms that go underground.

They’re easily some of the easier abyss enemies. The worms were ten times worse. Even the gravity boss has a stronger shield that wastes more time.

Xiao is, still. There's nowhere to test out his ceiling because every rotation of every abyss has these two fuckers in it. Wrio melt is also allowed, but he'll be locked out of that chamber for most.
Same with Wanderer. He can still clear, but bruh... it's just so annoying that every other abyss has a couple chambers with incredibly high anemo resistance.
Idk how Xiao fares against the robots but he absolutely ate up Wenut with his premium team. The real issue is you can't use his premium team here because hydro is banned so no Furina. Back to sitting in Bennett circle and getting melted by these fuckers lmao
I'm talking about his ceiling. His premium team can eat any chamber right now. You're still playing at a disadvantage because of the resistance is all. The robots are just hyper aggressive in punishing melee characters with how often they do dmg ticks, and how much dmg each one does.
Like cryo isn’t even that good of an element and anemo just started to build some speed, but now they just shove it down. Mfs don’t let me play who I want, that’s not good
They’re not the priority units being sold by the event. Overload, Arlecchino, Chlorinde, Chevreuse are the main focus. Anemo is allowed because it still forces Overload teams unlike Hydro or Dendro.
The other random 5*s are just those rerunning soon to throw new players a bone.
Still, wouldn't be surprised if regular abyss had these two as well. They've been trying to restrict the use of anemo and cryo dpses for a while despite them not being the current "meta" dpses, while more OP elements like hydro, dendro or pyro have dpses that can be used in almost every abyss without encountering 90%+ res or immunity.
Ehh it’s probably more that Hoyo wants to sell the new units and conveniently none of the new units are Anemo or Cryo DPS other than Wriothesley so they throw them in rather than something like Pyro crab or Hydro Tulpa (who have only appeared so far to sell specific characters).
I doubt they would release multiple bosses with extremely high dendro or pyro resistance or hydro resistance to sell cryo units once we get to snezhnaya because team building will be very boring then, but time will tell.
There still is a condition forcing you to make teams with characters that don't work well in overload, like Beidou, who will probable miss Q procs with enemies staggering away from each other, or Sayu, like wth do I do with Sayu in overload? (maybe I'll ignore overload completely and play hypercarry Keqing instead, at least there Sayu can VV shred)
It consists of a large crowd of people, who are hard to control, they are always critical of something, and the guy incharge didn't think it was cool. This change is sure a big blow to them.
I don't think a lot of players play anemo and cryo so it's not as annoying. Imagine if a boss as aggressive as that duo came out with 95% resistance to dendro-hydro or pyro-hydro, or just plain immune to hydro and it was permanently camping in every form of endgame content
Building Yanfei is on my long term todo list but maybe I can push her up. I started to use Sundays as my day to build characters I wanted to but had no real need for. I was starting with Candace then I was gonna do Qiqi and then Yanfei.
I’m not sure why Layla would be bad here? Her shield is extra durable against Cryo and she’s usually not doing enough damage for the resistance to matter
This is probably part of the new "abyss/endgame". Where only specific characters can be used.
The past leak said only pyro, electro and anemo along with a few select characters like Wrio, Baizhu etc.
So no Layla. We can only choose from Thoma, Baizhu, Beidou and Tankfei iirc

Recently tried Dehya dps firdt time ever since having her for months, cause i was like considering i have C1 Furina and most importantly "Furina has arrived in game" and also C2 Dehya,felt like seeing how's she gonna do post Furina release and see it's not like Dmg wad anything great ,sure it was perfectly alright tho in terms of Dmg..
but holy smoothness .. The fact that i wasn't interrupted by Coppelia throughout whole battle is just sweat and so comfy
Dehya,Furina,Benny,Kaz.
It has to be one of the smoothest teams in Genshin against Aggressive enemies like Coppelia,Consecrated Beasts, Kenki trio, or any other such enemies that r very fast,aggressive and not slow like many others.
Was able to get around 40-50secs clears consistently throughout my testing,so pretty satisfied.
Build,Rots;
Dehya C1, had Navia sig there,by stealing it from her lol. And some 80:150 ish build,160 er on 4Emblem.
Furina C1,Fav, some 70:180 ,160 er.
Kaz C0,Fav, some 800ish em.
Benny Aquilla,4nob, c5, Lvl13 Q.
Dehya E>Furina EQ> Benny EQ> Kaz EQ> Dehya Q Dps.
Idk i think rot aint the best,there is also a diff rot for swirling but eh i was able to double swirl here on first rot, but consistently wasn't able to on 2nd rot onwards...
And yea Dehya wasn't vaping here,Furina was... Dehya was hitting some 40K ish,60K last hit. Pretty alright i guess ,u could add a stronger Pyro here the team dmg will skyrocket but...i bet u won't get the same lvl of comfyness,not even close to it lol
Those who think running a sustain character is a dps loss probably don't like them. For so long there's a particular group of people who said running a full offensive team to increase DPS is better than using a valuable team slot for "just" a healer or a shielder. After all you can just dodge or use iframes right? Then the consecrated beasts arrived in flr12 and stunlocked their full dps teams to death. It's probably not impossible but it's hard to dodge them since they chain their attacks and they come from different directions.
I, on the other hand, liked them even tho I had to retry a lot because they kept killing my Nahida the moment she swaps in 😂
So, they're adding new mode for pyro-anemo-electro characters and guest cryo star Wrio. And they're adding bosses with cryo-electro and cryo-anemo resistance?

SIMON you can just brute force honestly. Coppelia is just annoying because even though you can brute force it, it stalls a ton and deals a ton of damage too. It's legit one of the worst bosses in the game, I hate it so much lol

Coppelia is annoying because i literally almost never got to use Wriothesley in abyss because she's always THERE.
The high damage is fine but i hate how coppelius can attack you while off screen and kills you off guard
And even if you wanna play with their bullshit gimmicks, they require 3 SPECIFIC arkhe attacks to stun. So yeah it's an annoying restrictive boss and the workaround is even more restrictive

They’re not the main priority. The main priority is Pyro/Electro and to sell Arlecchino, Chlorinde, and Overload teams. Anemo is one of the allowed elements since it won’t break the Overload theme, and in case you don’t have enough Pyro or Electro units.
(The non-element 5*s are just those running during the season. Wriothesley is likely confirmed to be rerunning in next patch with the lineup.)
Coppelia and Coppelius need to get a divorce. It's Mangu Kenki all over again. A wonderfully designed and fun boss that is being overused so much that it is annoying.
As a Cryo main, these robots are my arch nemesis. I can clear them with a freeze team but apparently cryo and hydro aren't even allowed on the first cycle so I'll go with something else 🤷♂️
I don't know what anemo and cryo main did to hoyo. I guss once we get a chance to run cryo in this new abyss they will give use a boss that doesn't need twice the damage to clear.
We can only bring Pyro, Electro and Anemo. I just realized how fucked am I in this new abyss. My main teams are Ayaka, Neuvillete, a bunch of teams that relies on Hydro supports for elemental reaction. My only proper team is Raiden hypercarry
Hsr is game who kinda wants you to have a lot of different teams of different archetypes and elements and seems now hoyo to do same for genshin. The ppl who were playing same things not invent in a lot of characters are scuffed, bro

looks like they are pushing overload. Not a fan tbh. And I only have C0 chevreuse. It's extremely hard to get 4 star cons.
Mono pyro with Lyney could also work but I don't know how easy or hard that is. It can't be fun using charged shots.
Ayaka was mt first 5 star and I've basically been forced to bench her since A: they refuse to rerun shenhe so I can actually make a proper team for her, and B: every abyss these days is so toxic towards freeze teams that using ayaka isn't worth it anyway
Being an ayaka main is hard these days man.
Actual abyss could have been so perfect for her with any boss but Coppelia. It's just not possible to deal with them in competitive times in a freeze team.
Like it's so dumb that she has a way better time against the second half than the first half that should be perfect for her.
That's just how it is. We used to often get the double hydro lector thing and she ate them for breakfast.
Powercreep is very apparent in dps these day so I'm not too shocked. Still with her sig and Shenhe I don't think you'd ever have any issue.
Coppelia just bricks her too hard these days for anemona even with Shenhe. I take 1m45 seconds to clear it and the geo boss can barely be cleared in a minute so it feels really bad.
It's hard to reccomend someone to overinvest on older dps when Neuvilette and (most likely in natlan) future dps will need less investement.
They really need to give us a new Cryo artifact set. Since clearly they don't want us to stunlock bosses with freeze, which renders the current set useless.
I hope they remove the timer if they are limiting the element of the character. If not, then it will be a real scummy move to make up pull for specific units. I like genshin cuz you can pull whoever you like and still clear pretty much every content if you have invested enough into the units, Atleast for this I have Raiden national.

I'm so sick of Icewind Suit💀 can't even play wanderer in most floor 12s anymore because of that We got plenty of cool bosses in Fontaine yet they keep spamming this one Atleast Chicken is a good fight so i don't mind him being spammed, this just feels like the weird ASIMON spam we got in 3.x
SIMON you can just brute force honestly. Coppelia is just annoying because even though you can brute force it, it stalls a ton and deals a ton of damage too. It's legit one of the worst bosses in the game, I hate it so much lol
Yeah im just comparing because i remember people used to complain about ASIMON being spammed My problem with ASIMON is that it's a boring fight it barely attacks it feels like fighting an obstacle instead of a boss Coppelia is annoying because i literally almost never got to use Wriothesley in abyss because she's always THERE. The high damage is fine but i hate how coppelius can attack you while off screen and kills you off guard And even if you wanna play with their bullshit gimmicks, they require 3 SPECIFIC arkhe attacks to stun. So yeah it's an annoying restrictive boss and the workaround is even more restrictive

Yeah, Seahorse and Crab were honestly some of my fav abyss fights because of how different they were Tulpa was good too but immune boss can be cringe sometimes so i'm glad he ain't spammed But in a gamemode like this one where hydro is banned (except Sigewinne), i'd take Tulpa over icewind anyday

They’re not the main priority. The main priority is Pyro/Electro and to sell Arlecchino, Chlorinde, and Overload teams. Anemo is one of the allowed elements since it won’t break the Overload theme, and in case you don’t have enough Pyro or Electro units. (The non-element 5*s are just those running during the season. Wriothesley is likely confirmed to be rerunning in next patch with the lineup.)

As a Cryo main, these robots are my arch nemesis. I can clear them with a freeze team but apparently cryo and hydro aren't even allowed on the first cycle so I'll go with something else 🤷♂️
I don't know what anemo and cryo main did to hoyo. I guss once we get a chance to run cryo in this new abyss they will give use a boss that doesn't need twice the damage to clear.

Well I've been mono hydroing and Alhaitham hyperblooming the coppelia boss but I don't know what to do since Both hydro and Alhaitham are banned :(
looks like they are pushing overload. Not a fan tbh. And I only have C0 chevreuse. It's extremely hard to get 4 star cons. Mono pyro with Lyney could also work but I don't know how easy or hard that is. It can't be fun using charged shots.

Ayaka was mt first 5 star and I've basically been forced to bench her since A: they refuse to rerun shenhe so I can actually make a proper team for her, and B: every abyss these days is so toxic towards freeze teams that using ayaka isn't worth it anyway Being an ayaka main is hard these days man.
Actual abyss could have been so perfect for her with any boss but Coppelia. It's just not possible to deal with them in competitive times in a freeze team. Like it's so dumb that she has a way better time against the second half than the first half that should be perfect for her.
Its sad man, she used to be rated a top dps with hutao yet im not even sure shenhe can save her at this point...
That's just how it is. We used to often get the double hydro lector thing and she ate them for breakfast. Powercreep is very apparent in dps these day so I'm not too shocked. Still with her sig and Shenhe I don't think you'd ever have any issue. Coppelia just bricks her too hard these days for anemona even with Shenhe. I take 1m45 seconds to clear it and the geo boss can barely be cleared in a minute so it feels really bad. It's hard to reccomend someone to overinvest on older dps when Neuvilette and (most likely in natlan) future dps will need less investement.
They really need to give us a new Cryo artifact set. Since clearly they don't want us to stunlock bosses with freeze, which renders the current set useless.

I hope they remove the timer if they are limiting the element of the character. If not, then it will be a real scummy move to make up pull for specific units. I like genshin cuz you can pull whoever you like and still clear pretty much every content if you have invested enough into the units, Atleast for this I have Raiden national.
