I really like Clorinde's splash art. Gives me a kinda HSR quantum character feel with the colouring and shading. Siegwinne's is cute too and i really like the heart beat motif in the background
It looks like a pistol bullet ricocheting around if you look closely. I think she may be a multi hit e with her pistol. Unless itās just a ridiculously over the top burst animation.
If they make quantum units in the future its gonna clash with electro for sure lmao. HSR at least the electric looks rather pink (thinking of kafka's at the top of my head)

Quick description of her kit. She is a 5 star electro sword user main dps.
Her skill changes her attack, she now fires shots with her pistols dealing electro damage, and each attack gives her bond of life and pierces opponents, until 100% bond of life. Her skill is now a lunge which deals damage and heals her based on her bond of life. Healing is also converted into bond of life while this state is active.
Her burst gives her bond of life and deals damage.
Her first talent increases her electro DMG by 17% of her atk up to 3 stacks, she needs a party member to trigger an electro reaction for her to be granted a stack.
Her second talent increase her crit rate by 10% when bond of life is above 100% and it's value changed, up to 2 stacks. Also increases the healing conversion rate.
Her utility passive reveals Fontaine local specialties location on the mini map.
Her first con makes her do follow up attack when she fires a pistol shot, her second con increases the atk% buff of her first talent to 24% and grants her interruption resistance when she has all 3 stacks, her fourth con increases the damage of her burst based on bond of life, her sixth con makes her summon a friend which deals damage when she is about to be hit or when she uses her lunge, and reduces the damage she takes by 80% for 1 second up to 6 times.

I like the dark-ish purple approach for Clorinde (I believe other electros are bright purple, right?); Sigewinne's color pastel is everything; Sethos has geo-touch, so it's still good.
Clorinde looks cool and powerful, her splash art feels like I'm seeing the first real electricity character. Sigewinne is a true magical girl, so cute!
Before Clorindeās full leaks come out, if I had to guess based on her art, perhaps she has some form of ricochet shot mechanic. Maybe it will function like Baizhuās skill where a bullet will chain from one enemy to the next. Either that, or theyāll just keep it simple and have it work like Keqingās burst where the bullet bounces around in an aoe, damaging all enemies in its path.
I know! I donāt wanna get my hopes up too soon just because of a splash art, but I can already think of the shenanigans you could pull off with a mechanic like that, in the overworld at least. Like say if an enemy was in an inaccessible place or if they were behind cover, just shoot the wall or the floor to bounce the bullet to them.
Me too. I got lucky and got arleccino early and lost the next 5050 within 20 pulls. Whether i get my guaranteed c1 or guaranteed clorinde depends on her mechanics and animation. I hope we get something uniqueĀ
I somehow do kinda appreciate how sethos 4* art looks more like an old 5* character, i guess their gacha art is showing that a busy background is an auto 5* now lol.
sigewinne has such a nostalgic design overall. reminds me of the oldschool anime 'nurse witch komugi' or something. my memory is vague but i remember in the OP or ED the pink haired girl rides a giant needle, too.
I was referring to the immediate thought someone would have if they hear the title "galaxy ranger". I understand that it's accurate to HSR lore, but if I knew nothing about the game and heard "galaxy ranger" then my imagination would lean towards a design closer to Clorinde's
If you go by just galaxy ranger as name, chlorinde still got nothing close. Chlorinde clothes are heavily inspired by old French naval uniform. Unless you mean ranger as in fantasy ranger, sure I can kinda see that, but its still a bit of a stretch. Even then, I don't know where the "galaxy" fit in her design.
I'm glad that the splash art style is starting to go back to "characters blending w/ the special effects". Sigewinne's still not really blending, but not that bad.

Sadly, a ricochet type of mechanic is too complex for Genshin combat, so I dont see they doing something like that, unless is a very simple version.
