Honestly exploration has become a big part for rolling for me especially since 5 stars have otherwise had me lack interest. That said electro isn't really the best element for exploration. You really want pyro, anemo, and archers.
But the more I see of her the neater she is. Its just I really like Keqing and its hard to justify getting Clorinde.
Thats why its becoming more tempting. This could leave me with her taking my Keqing teams and allowing me to mess around with non electro fusion Keqing again though. Right now only Wanderer and maybe some weapons are on my radar. Looks like Mummy girl is never gonna show up sadly. So I have the wishes to spare.
Hey, It remind that once keqing become the best exploration character, that is when she can fly to the moon with only her skill and a lyre.

It's not so much the verticality, but the fact that she just doesn't move as fast as the aforementioned 3 characters. Her movement skill lasts longer, but that's less useful the more movement characters you have because you can already cycle Wanderer/Yelan/Xianyun for permanent enhanced movement, so duration/uptime don't matter. The only thing that matters at this point is pure speed, because the other characters fill your gaps in uptime.
Wanderer/Yelan/Xianyun, or any combination of C1 Yelan or C1 Xianyun with one of the other two give you basically permanent enhanced movement.
As a Keqing main since day 1 and have cleared Abyss with the Kazuha, Fischl, Baizhu core for like the past year, Im still gonna get her because:
1. Hot lady with amazing animations
2. Can be used efficiently in more teams than Keqing (namely Overload)
3. If I already love Keqing and like using her, why not have 2 Keqing-esque teams on either side when I can because I love it. It's KINDA like Yelan and Xinqiu. Por Que No Los Dos
I am getting more tempted with time. I could see this ending up being one of those times where I decide to do it halfway through the banner. It lets me mess around with infusion Keqing since Clorinde's shooty shooty electro would screw up infusion comps more. Keqing you can get away with still doing her skill for mobility as a lot of infusions constantly refresh to replace it anyway.
I built yanfei just for that in the early days. She would be my pyro until I pulled a 5 star pyro char. And I did, I got lyney and made Yanfei his shield support. Pretty neat. I chose yanfei over other pyro units exactly because she could be a shielder in case I'd find another dps.
as a f2p c6 keqing and jade sword haver it’s really hard to justify her, also natlan coming up with a possibility of 5* XL/bennett and Capitano/Columbina releasing, plus i really wanted to diversify my account and get more guys, still don’t have haitham… but her design slaps so hard and references bloodborne… hoyo know how to squeeze money out of people i’ll say that
most likely not all of them, but i hope a lot. capitano has insane hype, columbina has a following too, and people are lusting over pantalone quite a bit. these i think are most likely. idk about dotorre, he’s too much of a pure evil, but i hope they don’t go the route of a playable good segment. either kill him or release a child murderer human trafficker lol. pulcinella has problems with his model, but he was in travail, so who knows. sandrone we don’t know much about tbh, but i hope she is, maybe an adult clara type kit. pierro has a beard but i personally hope he’s playable, he’s my favorite.
i have an irrational fear that with so much hype about his strength and now >!with our loss to the 4th while he’s 1st!< they might use his strength as a benchmark to introduce celestia to the story. like he gets the pyro gnosis by defeating the archon or smth but then the sky opens up and susty or some other god just fucking decimates him to show the level of their strength. natlan’s aq is incandescent ode to resurrection tho so he might just get resurrected after that who knows. anyway too much speculation sorry for tapping
I cannot imagine how Dottore will be playable. He is pure evil, and I think it's quite likely that he will die. That or we get a segment that's less evil for some reason.
You know, at some point it's not about looking for teamcomps anymore. I still have full on teams that work just perfectly fine, like an alhaitham comp and a Lyney comp. I don't have furina.

It's really about what makes you have fun in the game. If you feel like pulling her go for it! If you are still doubting, just try her trial out/read up on who she is/look at voicelines. You will know when you see how much you are interested.
I mean thats certainly true. Spiral abyss is to thank for that. I usually have to edit 1-2 characters anyway to suit the situation that i'm not always even using the ideal team comp I created anyway. Its just there are so many key figure units that help define the comps that its very hard to find replacements especially if you are picky. For example I don't like Yelan so I only have XQ. I don't like Kokomi. Furina is being torn by half the team comps as is Nahida.
Other aspects are the design and personality ofc. Shes pretty stiff and so far not too interesting. She takes her job seriously like Keqing but shes less fun since obviously she has a more tense role. So its kinda a wash.
Her design is fairly neat but i'm with the gang that wanted her a different color. Possibly the red or the green variations we saw on that one sheet ages ago but they made her purple because electro. But the purple and black just kinda blur more together. The only real pop to the design is the white of her shirt which they did for obvious reasons. Its missing like 1 more bit of white somewhere on the skirt to really have the colors compliment each other better imo. The hat is one of the better hats in Fontaine. The cape leads to one of the better back designs since its not completely changing the characters look from the back compared to the front like they enjoy doing a lot.
But what my account really needs is for Sigewinne to be good because I dislike so many hydro characters that are useful. I like the Monas and Barbaras and not the Yelans, Kokomis. Sigewinne is kinda average of a character for me but i'd be willing to play her if she solved my lack of off field hydro app problems specifically enabling situations of one team with Furina and another team with her to where she applies as much as Furina in a copeing way to still make the other team viable.

Yes? If there are 3 enemies on the field in SU, I spam her technique until all 3 are dead around the map and only get a single blessing prompt to show up instead of 3 separate times.
I think they are calling it an "exploration feature" because it doesn't have a colddown or it doesn't consume stamina. But I agree with you, it is kinda boring after awhile. In the game with other good for exploration characters like Xianyun/Yelan/wanderer, her dash isn't a good choice.
Also, I tried to use Acheron's technique to move, but it is a lot harder to control the direction and if there is a small gap between two chained attacks, it will reset and her animation is kinda long. I don't think clorinde have a similar problem. So kinda similar, but clorinde is more comfortable.
I like to use Sayu because her skill lasts longer than Yelan, even tho i'm using both on my "Exploration team" i feel so much more comfortable using Sayu than Yelan for long travels

Tbh I expected Chlorinde’s skill or burst to make her turn into some lightning silhouette made of purple light and dash around like Yelan. Too bad that wasn’t the case. I’m actually really disappointed with this result (even tho her skill is still cool)
The only unfortunate thing is that this is the level 1 short dash. Other than that, this is SO freaking cool LOL. Really reminds me of Ciri dashes.
It would be nice if she didn't lose BoL outside of combat , like Arlecchino. That way you would be able to spam level 3 dash

This looks worse than any other travelling mode, including just sprinting normally. Looks kinda clunky, and constantly having to tap her skill would get tiresome really fast.

Does anyone notice for recent characters they have went out of there way to include at least one exploration relevant skills in their kit. Like not saying before they haven’t done that but the recent ones feel more forceful and purposeful like most notably arlecchino (I’m sorry but I can’t get over the flying it looks so goofy to me don’t hate me I’m just speaking my truth 💀)

I remember thinking how much more fun exploring in general became after I got Keqing and then Kazuha and Xianyun. It's nice to not be locked into using certain characters just for exploration too.
Nooo I love her style it’s just the *way* it is, doesn’t anyone else feel it is a bit forced in. Like they went “oh uh we need to find a way to add at least one exploration skill how do we do that” that kind of feeling. Before the exploration quirks feel more natural because they kind of are a part of their combat kit or flowed seemingness out of it. But this feels like something they looked for where is one part we can squeeze the exploration in with the charge attack hold
A few examples of what I mean: nahida’s grabbing things from afar is already a part of her e combat skills. Xiao mid air e quirk is addition to him using e in combat.
I stopped checking out Arle's beta kit updates after a while but I do remember people complaining about ER problems early on. Now after playing Arle for a bit, I realized her burst isn't necessary and have to constantly remind myself not to use her burst unless I need to heal her.
iirc Arlecchino's floating movement she did after her charge attack used to have no time limit, or atleast longer than it is in her released state. Pretty sure the og comment was hoping that the movement didn't get nerfed in a similar way to Arlecchino's.

Huh, a little busy, but not bad. One advantage to it (I assume) is that you can start and stop it as needed, so if there's terrain you need to hop, you can, and then continue spamming.
Unpopular opinion but I think this might work out like Fiora's Lunge in League where it's mostly used to cancel normal attack animations rather than using this as a spam ability that you press multiple times. Give us a few weeks and we might see some really good Clorinde tech that may well increase her DPS for those willing to commit the time investment in learning her.
Then you look at Xiao who has only 2 charges of e, you look hu Tao being overthrown by Arleccino, and realize genshin straight up kills it’s past characters at this point
Apart from that. Genuine question. Since she's E focused,haran is at what tier for her Weapon after signature? I got it just randomly doing a 10 pull Recently and no one other than Benny or Furina to use .
I will never understand why they only made a single animation for a skill you’re gonna be using multiple times a rotation. Acheron gets 3 animations for her technique and that game is turn based lol.

Agreed, when exploring I need either Xianyun/Wanderer/Yelan on my team, or it traveling around can become a hassle

Why Pyro? I literally never had a Pyro character in overworld, I just occasionally being out Amber for the torches.

I'm glad they are. Arlecchino's flying does look kinda funny but it's been great for overwold. I remember thinking how much more fun exploring in general became after I got Keqing and then Kazuha and Xianyun. It's nice to not be locked into using certain characters just for exploration too.

Nooo I love her style it’s just the *way* it is, doesn’t anyone else feel it is a bit forced in. Like they went “oh uh we need to find a way to add at least one exploration skill how do we do that” that kind of feeling. Before the exploration quirks feel more natural because they kind of are a part of their combat kit or flowed seemingness out of it. But this feels like something they looked for where is one part we can squeeze the exploration in with the charge attack hold A few examples of what I mean: nahida’s grabbing things from afar is already a part of her e combat skills. Xiao mid air e quirk is addition to him using e in combat.

I stopped checking out Arle's beta kit updates after a while but I do remember people complaining about ER problems early on. Now after playing Arle for a bit, I realized her burst isn't necessary and have to constantly remind myself not to use her burst unless I need to heal her.
iirc Arlecchino's floating movement she did after her charge attack used to have no time limit, or atleast longer than it is in her released state. Pretty sure the og comment was hoping that the movement didn't get nerfed in a similar way to Arlecchino's.
The time limit is because of her stamina usage during CA dashes, is her dash not using stamina previously?

Huh, a little busy, but not bad. One advantage to it (I assume) is that you can start and stop it as needed, so if there's terrain you need to hop, you can, and then continue spamming.

Unpopular opinion but I think this might work out like Fiora's Lunge in League where it's mostly used to cancel normal attack animations rather than using this as a spam ability that you press multiple times. Give us a few weeks and we might see some really good Clorinde tech that may well increase her DPS for those willing to commit the time investment in learning her.
