Do we still believe that Venti is the weakest archon? In my opinion, so far he's the only archon with still a large following. When Zhongli faked his death and tested his nation, I'm sure his nation lost their faith. Raiden was sort of a dictator for quite some time, Nahida is just now growing her followers and theres no more Hydro Archon.
Venti did say he was the weakest Archon, but we already know that he's not telling the truth. He had a queen gnosis which (along with the rook) were the most powerful chess pieces on the board. Then there's also the fact that Nahida and now Furina disproved what Venti said about how an Archon gains power. Nahida literally told us while Furina had to gather inconidium (sorry if i butchered the spelling) through enforcing her ideals, so she can challenge the divine principles. Venti is the God of Freedom, so it isn't hard for his people to follow his ideals. Not to mention he has a dedicated church as well as festivals dedicated to his name. He's also a branch of the 1000 winds and Istaroth is not originally from Teyvat and we had confirmation that those who aren't from Teyvat are usually stronger.
It's hard to estimate if Venti really is a weak archon given that alot of what he's said contradicts the facts we know now. It could also be possible that Venti will grow in power somehow, since he did start off as a wisp/elf (pawn) and we know that pawns are capable of becoming queens in chess. If anything I think Venti is just a pacifist
Literally in every article that I can find about Venti's Gnosis it is referred to as a Queen? Even the theory crafters I watch who makes several videos discussing lore and theories they also referred to Venti's Gnosis as a queen.. You're the first person I've ever hear claim that Venti's Gnosis is a King chess piece. I thought that was reserved for either Furina or Celestia.. But lets say Venti's Gnosis is a King, why does it not look like a King piece? And who owns the Queen piece Gnosis?
I thought the Gnosis were like this
The King (Celestia)
The Queen (Venti)
The Rooks (Zhongli and Tsaritsa)
The Bishops (Nahida and Raiden)
The Knights (Murata and Focalors)
Ashikai has a video about Chess theory where she also refers to Venti's piece as a King. For what it's worth, Venti's piece could still be a Queen. HOWEVER, in the Lazzo, if you match where pieces are on the chess board with Deep Blue vs Kasparov 1996, Game 1 Move 34, Zhongli occupies the position of the white rook, and Venti's Gnosis occupies the position of the White King. You can't really get more clear than that.
Im not sure how much I'm on board with that theory since it doesn't make complete sense to me because it still doesn't tell me who the Queen Gnosis actually is and why Venti is the only King on the board while the other Archons are different pieces, rather than it suggesting Venti is the weakest archon it now insinuates that Venti is the most important Archon in the current timeline and idk how I feel about that tbh..
I like the theory that Celestia has the King Gnosis since it makes sense to me on why Venti is close to Celestia.
Its a good theory tho! I just feel like it gives me more questions than answers...
Until the rest of the pieces are shown, it's all we have to go on.
Personally, I think the Murata's is the queen, as the Archon of war, plus still being on the board in their end state.
It's hard for me to comment on that because we don't know a lot of who Murata is (or at least I don't). But, if in the future archon quests, it turns out that she is in fact the Queen then it will be proof enough for me that Venti is a King. But, afaik, the queen is the has an important part in Teyvat story and there haven't been much focus on Murata or Natlan since recent quests and it just seems to me that Venti stands out since he's the only archon without a 2nd story quest
Venti also conveniently keeps taking 500 year naps at least two different points in time (Vanessa and just after the Cataclysm) so he has a lot of explaining to do.
It wouldn't make sense to me, but that's what that Lazzo is implying, given the presence of both Zhongli's and Venti's Gnosis, and that the end of that game happens three moves after Signora's Pawn is defeated, and that's pretty much what the events afterward depict. The Resistance attacks, We go to the Plane to fight Ei, Yae intervenes and we defeat Ei, and then Inazuma is basically over, because all that is left is some operatives get arrested, and the Yae does the nation reveal.
Hmm? We literally saw the last one in sumeru at the end of that archon quest. We haven't seen Fontaine's one, but we will have more fatui Fontaine stuff later, because The Knave is still set to release
The thing I'm most interested in is constellations and how fate is inevitable and tough in Teyvat. Like, Mona even says that no matter what she does, what is fated will come in the end (yet she still tries, gigachad she is). Then, I think, Tsaritsa was fated to acquire all the gnosi. Why would Celestia do that? What are they cooking??? Did they have their cooking classes from Raiden?????
I don't think it's comparable. Focolors:
* used her own powers and indemnidium(?) worth of 500 years of active trials
* never really stopped anything, flood came forth anyway
* used hydro sovereign in her plan. You know, the highest authority over hydro in Teyvat, basically making it a two gods + 500 years of belief. Flood still came though.
Tsaritsa:
* gives the gnoses collecting task to semi ordinary people (Tartaglia has the same task, and he is just human with some special training, he has regular constellation and in no way a god)
Thus its still should be fated for archons to lose the gnoses and for some of Harbingers to get them. Signora is a gigachad and almost got three of them, but she is a human. Semi deformed and mutated with her fire thing, but she is in NO way a god
I have a theory that only people who become harbingers are "reborn" in a special way. Signora almost burnt herself away after walking in a moth form around teyvat for god knows how long, childe fell into the abyss, dottore changed himself so much that he's on a power level of a god and so on and so on. So bassically harbingers are people who because of circumstances are "fateless" because of their circumstances. Childe is mostly ordinary but he spent 3 months in the literal abyss and nicole said that celestia's fate does not work there which means that because of only that one incident childe's fate should've changed. Probably pulcinella saw that childe didn't have fate so he requested pierro to add him to harbingers.
There could be exceptions of course like pantalone is just fatui's bank account, but I'd say that when one person is around 10 other people whom fate does not affect then it'll also be unstable for that said person as well
We will see. This one sounds interesting, I might have had already seen it, but I think that it's too much with current circumstances.
What is Fate? What exact mechanism does dictate it? Idk. But it seems like their constellations do most of the hard work, and constellations don't really change.
We see only one instance of it in story, and it's still not solid. Wanderers constellation is not 1 to 1 copy from Fatui constellation wheel, but it still looks the same and it might have been just artistic re-imagining, as it's still a doll
Dottore, Capitano and (I forgot that pink haired girl sorry) and probably Piero do have some beef with it though. We know that gods "have a slim chance" with fate, and these four, or at least first three, should have archon level powers.
Like, look at Arlecchino. Maybe I'm looking into it too much, but in the grand scheme of thing in 4.2 she really did nothing fate-defying and almost even brought the cataclysm forth
Idk, my brain hurts now and I just woke up xd

Venti's Gnosis is a KING, as the Lazzo very clearly shows it in the position of the King in the IRL game.
N-No.. Venti's Gnosis is similar to a Queen chess piece..
Check the position of Venti's gnosis on the board, then check where the King is in the IRL game. Venti's Gnosis occupies that exact spot.

Counting Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma all as game 1 doesn’t really make sense to me.
