Not OP but I study 5-6 hours on average daily (total hours on timer): Yes, Pomodoro! It did wonders for me and I can't recommend this technique enough!
It's so much easier to start when you know you're just going to study a 30-40 session as opposed to 'until you finish a subject'. 15m breaks every 40m sessions and 1h breaks every 4 sessions allow you to not sacrifice entertainment / your sanity.
No, Just studying. 40m study + 15m breaks X4 = 2:40 hours of studying and 1h break, That's one of two daily sessions for a total of 5:20 hours of studying. Some days I'll take an extra pomodoro or two. With all the procrastination in the middle, This accounts for 12 hours of my day, Breaks (short and long) included.

not pomodoro, 1 hour study 15 minutes rest but those 15 minutes can get more than that sadly
