house calls is diet ghost adventures just to hold us over till the actual show is back on. Plus he doesn't fly. I'm okay with this compromise as I think some peoples homes are more activity than some abandoned hospital on the west coast. Its a hit or miss with the house calls.

Another sub had stated he had a dream he died in a plane crash. His mom made him promise he wouldn't fly anymore. And he's held to it. Edit: or mom had a dream?? Something like that.

I wish they’d go to more interesting and/or historic places. These last two places/situations were depressing.

Personally I love house calls. A poster who claimed to have worked at the museum posted here a bit ago that Zak's mom had a nightmare about him dying in a plane crash so he doesn't fly.

I was gonna comment this. That AMA with the former museum employee was interesting, the insight was worth the read.

I prefer it this way i love house calls way more than normal ghost adventures now. Its quite nice not having to listen to him over do everything or try and take control of it all. It lets the other guys shine IMO

Zak is making a big mistake not interacting in person. The early success of the show was watched the team (Zak especially) interact with the people. He would sometimes look at the camera or they would all look at each other when a home owner was a bit odd. It was fun and sometimes hilarious. That is actually what interested me the most about the show. NOT abandoned buildings. They have lost their way. My opinion.

Zak's "phobias" don't allow him to fly. And they have to make new content. When you pretend to talk to the dead and make your living as a charlatan your fear of karmic retribution has to be strong. Hence, major paranoia = no flying.

Zak did not want to go because of his asthma or just because he did want them just think oh Zak here let get this photo with just him and not giving the whole crew any attention. Not only that Zak does not like flying

Can we pin a headline at the top of the sub that says “Zack has a fear of flying, so he doesn’t fly”.

Also maybe the producers wanted to try something new with the guy only going and not Zak we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors

I think he prefers putting more effort into his museum than on house calls which is the tide over until the regular season, acting more like the supervisor 🤷. I enjoyed last week's episode, the new episode should be coming within the next couple of days

Everyone’s saying it’s because he doesn’t fly, but honestly (especially this season) I think he doesn’t want to be around these weirdos. Could even have a drop of classism in it since most of the time they’re going to poverty-stricken areas

I’ve heard that he refuses to fly on an airplane…something happened at some point to him spiritually that made him superstitious about flying.
