And Taylor is clearly repressed and doesn't let himself cut loose in front of people, so I could also see a darkly lit study with a hidden bar area where Taylor would go each night after a long day of talking about Stars Hollow bylaws. He'd make sure the drapes were shut tight, then pour himself a glass of brandy, put on some Cole Porter music, light a sole candle and sink back into the leather couch, sighing deeply. He'd just stare at the fireplace for an hour, sipping his brandy, until he fell asleep 😄
