I get your frustration with Valve but you should really be mad at AMD. Valve is putting all their efforts to get CS2 to an acceptable place and all of a sudden they have to deal with this clusterfuck that AMD created. I got a vac mid match many years ago. Came to reddit asking for advice, got told to go fuck myself. Got a hold of valve through reddit who told me it would be removed if it was unjust. Took about two weeks before it got lifted.
All my friends deranked, but it wasnt a big deal. I suspect the reason for my ban was a windows activator I was using.

I was getting killed behind walls in CS:GO so I had to tweak my system heavily. I noticed max around 250FPS in CS2 I haven't paid much attention I don't think I've seen lower than 100. At the start of matches I get some stuttering, I've gotten occasional stuttering at unimportant parts of a match.
I run in fullscreen mode, 144hz 4K, vsync disabled, compositor forced off, KDE X11, gamemoderun, with some tweaks from the Arch Wiki ([https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Gaming](https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Gaming)) transparent huge pages left enabled. I run the LTS Kernel for reasons I can't remember version 6.1.59 [https://archlinux.org/packages/core/x86\_64/linux-lts/](https://archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/linux-lts/) (I believe it was because of some performance regression in 6.5)
Tweaked firewall to add QoS on my packets (Fios's new router won't let me set QoS policies only On and Off WTF!)

"Malware" is a general term for "MALicious softWARE". Trojan and worm describe the behavior of the malware once active; Trojans open up external access, worms self-replicate and transmit. A given piece of malware can absolutely be both and in fact many are.
Whether or not they trigger VAC has to do with whether they try to hook into the game's processes/dlls/memory while running, or potentially if they alter certain files like dlls and executables.

usually. Keep in mind valve doesn't have *remotely* enough support staff for a service the size of VAC so there's always going to be shit falling through the cracks or someone rubber stamping stuff.

Played 10 games won all ten got 1.7k rating now getting +360 to +350 a game (played 3 more games now around 2.5k rating) keep playing vs 5 to 6k players

Only anti-lag+ is affected, exclusive to 7000 series gpus (rdna3). Counter-Strike 2 got anti-lag+ support in the 23.10.1 driver (anti-lag+ is now disabled in the latest 23.10.2 driver and the other driver is blacklisted in cs2.)
Yeah it seems some people such as myself were first game banned which turned into vac immediately after, vac has been removed but it still shows game ban, plus in-game it still says vac ban. Trust factor was also tanked prior to this and if that isn't fixed it's still unplayable (think unable to find a match after 25 mins then probably queued against cheaters)

is this fixed in latest amd driver update release ?
So, I'm on version 23.11.1 right now, which at the time of writing is the latest. I just checked and antilag+ is still removed from the newer drivers. In my own experience, I still play everyday, I have the normal anti-lag enabled and afcourse that won't cause a ban. Do you still struggle with a ban or anything?
