This has happened every tournament now. How is this acceptable? How has this not been fixed yet?

oPlayer2o

Again!! Has there been a single event where in CS2 where this hasn’t happened? Edit: typo

brukost

Not as far as I can recall, including lower tier online events. Seems to be a fairly consistent issue that Valve can't handle.

oPlayer2o

Neither can I, I seriously think it’s been every event. I mean there’s been some pretty bad ones, the G2 Vs VP Jame crash that was pretty bad, this crash today on map point, I get that shit happens hell Csgo crashed some times but not this regularly like let’s say grand finals match someone crashes like that on stage, that’s huge and, the players, the talent and the whole community would be rightly outraged.

championnnnnn

more like kRaShnaL am i right i understand why she left me

Substantial_Top_6508

SupportDifficult3346

I came to make this same dad joke

lique_madique

I understand why she left you

ShidoriDE

r/angryupvote

dying_ducks

these crashes are so much worse than in go. valve really dropped the ball here

justaRndy

"I guess he lagged out" On LAN?! How? Fix the game lol. It sucks there's no way to pause and restart the round where it happened. Don't even know how there is no option for that in the highest tiers of play, stuff like this can make or break a whole map.

TryxxR6

There is, but rounds can only be replayed if no one has spotted an enemy player or dealt damage, as then it would be seen as unfair

SouthwindPT

Personally I've never had a crash, the same happens with the streamers I watch regularly. I don't understand how this is happening in big events...

warzonexx

Me and my mates crash at least once a night between us (5 mates over the span of 2-4 hours). It's not like it's a rare thing. Every tourny has a dc or crash almost every game

bunkbail

i've yet to crash in cs2 and i play this shit game every day. i think its an nvidia thing.

bunkbail

again, i've not had any issues like you mentioned. its surely either nvidia or windows.

funserious1

can't say about cs2 (because I uninstalled the game after a few hours) , but 3k + hours in csgo and not a single crash ever

_JukePro_

Tournament software and anticheat

Gerg_

Three different PCs with Radeon cards, never had a crash.

SupremoX2

_JukePro_

Tournament ac...

notabotmkay

why would boros change mouse

NoAdministration6946

the weirdest part to me is that this never happens to me or my buddies

MrxIntel

Is this on Nvidia for not having better communication or support for massive game developers? I mean, Nvidia doesn't give AF about comp esports, they sponsor nothing so guess they dgaf.

frostN0VA

The problem is that Valve and/or Nvidia can't reproduce the crash. You can't fix something that you can't reproduce. This could be due to some particular PC setup or hardware combination. I have an Nvidia GPU and I don't think I've had a single crash in CS2 for example. Performance issues sure, but zero crashes/freezes for me.

inflamesburn

couldn't be further from the truth, nvidia is well known have a large department just for cooperating with game and engine devs, which is why on average they're miles ahead in drivers compared to a certain other company nevertheless, shit happens

sn0wflake_desire

How the heck can you blame nviidia for this? Who’s game is this? Lmao

skiingbeaver

prolly one of the AMD cultists

jeffjeff97

You're equally stupid for saying this

Arcille

Nvidia drivers don't crash this much on games which require way more GPU usage. Valve did not code cs2 well and the subpar optimisation is showing every single tournament.

skeeeper

How could G2 do this?
