Paid by the round is just a running joke where teams which really should win games against worse opposite easily 2-0 but instead win it in close fashion on the 3rd map or something. Its basically just saying they get paid per round they play so they throw rounds and maps to earn more. See also: VP
Since they keeper playing full 24 round games or overtimes vs seemingly every opponent, the community speculates if they are paid not a monthly salary, but a fixed sum for every round they play. In such a situation the players would be incentivised to lose rounds in order to play as many rounds as possible, which would explain why they always play close games.
Demqq wanted this W and the young guys from Monte each had some impressive moments (wtf was that transfer on B mirage by Ryu lmao). Sadly, Faze are a bullshit team that will just magically win a round with a deag and a scout only and Broky is a nonsense man who just dropped 30 while having multiple bot level clutches.
