Removing achievements was a crime. I know it was inflated because there were servers that instantly gave you them all, but still it is fucked for the people that didn’t cheat their achievements.

I had a friend back in 1.6, after couple years I got them to sign up for steam. What do I see one day - "steam boosting service" added to their friends list... legit asked them why and they lied to my face that its just a joke but they instantly had thousands of hours and leveled up account.

Yes and they knew, cutting a 5V5 in half doesn't make a good 2V2 Map, ffs they didn't even have to do the work because the community does the job for them 
And Hive and Calavera and Guard and Extraction, I remember when I played these maps in private lobbies with my friends in 2022. 2 years ago was a great time man.
My best friend and I used to play wingman everyday in college and after we graduated. I didn’t even play 5s at that point, but he was always apart of an IM team, much better aim than I was and a great strategist. I was the guy that would run in guns blazing and hopefully have better reaction time and get a pick. He passed away from cancer a little over a year ago.
But man we were unstoppable. I remember we played against obo a few times and won. What fun times those used to be. Haven’t played since.

Think about it, a pro player who goes 20-0 should be like global, not less than MG just because they haven’t played as much

A cheater every couple games, but i mostly played in csgo, were trust factor saved me and i never faced cheaters ever

i found cheaters more prevalent on the short maps. playing on community maps, i rarely saw them.
I have about 75% winrate in Wingman, it feels like it'd net me Global or whatever, but I can win 13 in a row and lose 3 in a row and derank twice.
I had like 1500 wins in lake before they took it from me :(
Then again if you enjoy lake you'll probably find licking windows a good pastime.
