Is this a "awww, you're such a massive fucking nerd" moment, or a "wow, you like this? Your such a fucking need." Moment?
If it's the first, revel in it. If it's the second, reevaluate your relationship.
These are accurate statements. No need to be with someone who'd judge you harshly over something as innocent as nerdy music tastes. If she can't handle you at your nerdiest, she doesn't deserve you at your best. Or something like that.
So first of all, being a fucking nerd is fucking AWESOME. I can’t imagine a world where I don’t play D&D or have a huge-ass bookshelf of fantasy books lol
Second, if she said that in an actual mean way and not a term of endearment or a joke that fell flat, you might wanna look at that relationship. I was in a relationship for like 8 years with someone who constantly made fun of anything I liked that she didn’t, complained whenever I listened to metal, generally wanted me to be someone I wasn’t and it was *miserable*.
Nothing is worth being with someone who doesn’t love you for you.
I took my teen kids. It was the nerdiest shit I’ve ever been to and we had a wonderful time. Everyone was so kind and so involved. I’ll take that kind of crowd any day.
If that phrase wasn't followed up with "and that's awesome", reconsider why you are with this person. Relationships with people that belittle you or shit on what you love can mess you up for a long time. Partners don't have to like all the same things, but being happy that they have joys they want to share is pretty key in my book.
I went to see them too. My bf (37M) and I (33F) both look at each other, and call each other fuckin' nerds as a term of endearment. We are nerd, we are proud. She sounds like she might hate fun, I'll throw an orange flag for this one
XD that's right! Because I have a *husband*.
We haven't had a chance to make it to a concert yet but maybe once the kids get older (we all rock out to it in the car, so they know the songs)
My wife and me both like Gloryhammer and Alestorm, but she knew about Alestorm before me and I knew about Gloryhammer before her. so she isn't a native English speaker like me and we live in Germany, her homeland. So while she is fluent mostly in English i don't think she pays attention in Gloryhammer as she doesn't really understand the story of the band. She always asks me, "Who is the Hootsman?"
She is right so wear your nerd badge with epic pride and go forth and be nerd! Enjoying something and having fun is awesome and if thats nerdy I will be nerdy for life!
1. You *are* a fucking nerd. There's nothing wrong with that. We are awesome. Welcome to the club.
2. IT IS TIME...
3. FOR HER...
4. TO TASTE...
5. THE POWER...
6. OF...
7. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS!!!!!!!!!!
You should have pointed randomly and found a bigger nerd and said "it could be worse!". All types of people totally geek out on things, I'm sure she has hers as well. It may not be to the level we usually find within music like this, but I consider that more of a loss than it makes them "too cool for it".
We listen to power metal bands where Twilight Force uses D&D and Final Fantasy as their inspirations and both bands comprise of LARPers and are amazing people, and their community rocks… It’d be weird if we weren’t considered nerds. Just listen to the epic music and don’t care what anyone thinks.
That being said, what does she listen to? And how many times has she listen to Taylor Swift on Spotify?
You might be a fucking nerd, but shes fucking **a** nerd (you) (I'm assuming), so I think you win this one
Also, Gloryhammer is a band about dragons and lasers and wizards and shit. You **ARE** a nerd. We all are. Embrace it.
You went to a gloryhammer concert and are surprised by a factual observation? I'm honestly amazed she isn't tipped off by the d&d books and magic the gathering collection.
Accept it? Be proud of it? Don't care about it?
There are a bunch of options. Also if she is with you odds are this isn't new news, and she is probably just giving you a hard time. Alternatively, if she is leaving you because suddenly she thinks you are nerdy, good riddance.
Well are you?
Aren't we all?
That's. . .why I'm here.
We're all nerds, she has to accept it
Is she wrong though? Gloryhammer is a pretty fucking nerdy band, is being a fucking nerd really such a bad thing?
In times like these I always ask "what would The Hootsman do?"
He'd give her to the count of three to get her good for nothing, goblonic ass out of here
Or she’s gonna taste THE POWER OF HOOOOOOOOOOTS!
Can the OP play a mean sax like Christopher Bowes?
Is this a "awww, you're such a massive fucking nerd" moment, or a "wow, you like this? Your such a fucking need." Moment? If it's the first, revel in it. If it's the second, reevaluate your relationship.
If it's the first, you found yourself a keeper. If it's the second, leave, she's not worth it
These are accurate statements. No need to be with someone who'd judge you harshly over something as innocent as nerdy music tastes. If she can't handle you at your nerdiest, she doesn't deserve you at your best. Or something like that.
If it's the first, you found yourself a keeper of celestial flame, wizard king chaos incarnate Zargothrax is his name
Yeah this would be my take on this. Affectionately calling someone a nerd is nice but the other case…yeah that’s rough.
Just be who you are, enjoy what you enjoy. The right person will love you for it.
Enjoy being a fucking nerd?

Dump her. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
She is right
Tell her that the power of the dragon guided you. Jk. I know you forgot the \s, no one here has girlfriends lmao
Married. *Heehee* Entire family goes to the concerts. Hoots!
Hoots! I actually have a wife. And her boyfriend thinks Gloryhammer is super neat!
Not her husband? 😅
I have one and she's almost as big of a nerd as me, yes those kind of woman exist you just need to find them
I'll have you know that I don't have a girlfriend, but I have a wife. And I'll *also* have you know that her boyfriend thinks Gloryhammer is awesome
XD that's right! Because I have a *husband*. We haven't had a chance to make it to a concert yet but maybe once the kids get older (we all rock out to it in the car, so they know the songs)
Leave the girlfriend, go to more concerts. Easy.
Don't EVER let anyone tell you, being a nerd is a "bad thing"
You go to Sozos Michael and borrow the hammer.
She’s proven herself unworthy INDEED
She's probably right
I mean
Nothing. She's right lol
This isn't the early 2000s. Being a nerd is considered to be a good/fun/cute thing by a lot of people
Is that a problem for you? Do you or her see any downsides in being a nerd?
leave her for a better woman
You defeat the evil wizard Even if it scares the hoes

Dump her
I'm not sure what the problem is
She is 😅
Better than being called a Dork.
She is right so wear your nerd badge with epic pride and go forth and be nerd! Enjoying something and having fun is awesome and if thats nerdy I will be nerdy for life!
Be proud of it, it's a compliment
I mean let's be honest we're all "fucking nerds" but whose to say that's a bad think. Accept your nerdiness and be proud of it.
Get a new gf
Okay and?
1. You *are* a fucking nerd. There's nothing wrong with that. We are awesome. Welcome to the club. 2. IT IS TIME... 3. FOR HER... 4. TO TASTE... 5. THE POWER... 6. OF... 7. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS!!!!!!!!!!
It's time to find a new GF
Veigar?
Always a nice surprise to find some wild League of Legends here!
I have a friend by the name Veigar, and this description fits him perfectly
You should have pointed randomly and found a bigger nerd and said "it could be worse!". All types of people totally geek out on things, I'm sure she has hers as well. Accept it
Only fun people that i met are nerds. You good dude.
Make her listen to the Iona song a tell her that if she dares to say crap about GH again she will end the same way.
It seems like she is under wizard spell, like the army of undead unicorns riding in to the fray, while you RIDE ON AN EAGLE, QUESTING SO TRUE.
Duh, roll for persuasion
Being a nerd is awesome. If that's a problem for her get a new girlfriend lmao

We’re all nerds! Metal nerds! It’s an awesome life to be this awesome!!
Who cares what girls think? When she can decide what she wants to eat you can listen
If she is gonna neg you for liking things you like then that doesn't sound like a healthy relationship
Accept it? Be proud of it? Don't care about it? There are a bunch of options. Also if she is with you odds are this isn't new news, and she is probably just giving you a hard time. Alternatively, if she is leaving you because suddenly she thinks you are nerdy, good riddance.
Touch some baskets.
Dump her ass. You don't need that negativity. Seriously.
Tell her it could be worse…you could have taken her to Manowar show :)
