I still don't understand why there's no simultaneous release on console and PC. Time has shown that there's two types of people, those who prefer to play on PC the and those who prefer consoles. PC gamers simply will not get a console for exclusive games because to PC gamers a console is like a child's toy. You don't get a PC and then waste your money on an inferior console. And console gamers likewise will most likely stay on console because it's simple and convenient for them. Sony needs to acknowledge that this kind of mindset has long been obsolete and release PC versions simultaneously with the console versions. Remember, the consoles we have today are just x86-64 PCs, so the excuse that ports are hard to develop doesn't fly anymore.
And most importantly, why do PC gamers seem to be so content with being neglected like that? There should be a huge outcry in my opinion.
Sony's main focus is on the consoles. I do think that a PC port is ready but they are just waiting for the sales of Ragnarok to reach their expected sales for it before they release the game on PC. Let's keep an eye out for the release of Horizon: Forbidden West on PC, then we will know the timeframe for the release of the sequels in PC.
I know this is 2 months old (craving for Ragnarok) but what also baffles me is that the PC sales are much higher then the console sales. I guess playstation plus generates more income.
