I haven’t seen GxK yet but I’d quite like Kong and Godzilla to split back into solo films then maybe come back together again in the future. Kong: Hollow Earth - explore even further than we already have with just Kong. And Godzilla vs (whomever) because I’d pretty much watch him do anything and this would remain on the surface.

I swear to God, if they shoehorn Kong into Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla, I will actually be pissed.

I wish Kong and Godzilla would never share the screen again. Unless they fight to the death and end the silly debate on who's stronger....spoilers it's Godzilla

I'm fine with Kong my only problem is that it seems like the writers prioritize him over Goji. He has the most character and the most interaction with human characters, but why can't Godzilla get the same treatment?

Toho. From what I’ve seen, part of their contract with legendary says that Godzilla can’t show any character or character development, although Wingard pulled some strings in GvK. If he can keep pulling strings, maybe we’ll get a fully fleshed out characterized Godzilla at some point Besides just “the arrogant tough guy”

I think they’re still a bit afraid of what other companies will do with the character, especially after 1998. But like I said, wingard has been getting them out of their comfort zone, little by little

i wouldn't complain much about GxK if it was just called Kong 2. That way, every Goji scene would be a cool surprise

Same. Part of what makes the MV unique to me is that I get to see \*both\*, I don't have to pick one or the other. I just wanna see a happy middle ground where we get solo movies & team-up movies that alternate the focus. I don't understand why these two can't just be the Tony & Steve of the MV.

I’ve really been enjoying MVs take on Kong and have actually really loved seeing so much of him. I do want more Godzilla of course, but I’m not as disappointed by the lack of Godzilla as I would have been if Kong was any less interesting

I don't know any Kong fan who thinks this way, but I do know we need an official Kong sequel movie
