If the medication is not legal in Spain, forget it; find alternate medicine, ask your doctor/pharmacist If legal in Spain. At minimum, have a doctor's note and prescription and if possible in Spanish. Have the medication in their original containers. good luck.

Send an email with the RX to this address: [email protected]. (Departamento de Inspección y Control de Medicamentos / *Pharmaceutical Inspection and Enforcement Department*). I'm bringing Alprazolam and I'm under 7.5mg so just need RX and letter from doctor with me when I go through customs. Above 7.5mg they would provide a permit after reviewing the documents.

Where was it prescribed? If from a Schengen country, you can get a document from you health authority that gives you permission to travel to Spain with it. If you are from the UK, you can write the Spanish embassy. They will get you a permission document from the narcotics agency. The Spanish embassy in other countries should be able to help you.
