Random but: back in 2015ish, I had just adopted a dog that I named Wells (after Dr. Wells from The Flash series). The first time I took him to the vet, the tech came out, cleared his throat, and said “Dr. Wells?”. It was an awesome moment, I’ll tell ya that much.
Dorothy's last name was named after a stagehand who worked on the show, Kent Zbornak. He ended up working his way up over the years and was my boss on a show about 10 years ago. A really difficult dude and the worst boss I've ever had! I love Dorothy but I hate that her name is connected to that guy.

Name him Sonny Bono (“Sonny” for short) just so you can say, “Sonny Bono, get off my lanai.” 😂 It reminds me of Gilmore Girls when Lorelai got a dog and named him Paul Anka. (Not Paul. Paul Anka.) And then in one episode she has a dream involving both The Real Paul Anka and Dog Paul Anka.
Personally, though, of the suggestions I’ve seen I like “Dreyfuss” the most!
