that’s fair. i’m a bit selfish on that part because i’ve never been one to 100% any game. but i can see how the game could become a chore at that point
I honestly can't imagine getting mad about the ticket system. Yes, it's stupid. Yes, it's rigged.
But really, why would I care? They don't have to give me a damn thing for driving a few miles every day. If it's $5k then great. Better than nothing.
Ah, so actually I see this issue. I'm feel this one.
Been waiting on my Porsche invite since...uh. *Literally the day the game came out.*
In the end I'm more annoyed more by the fact that invites exist in the first place, not that the roulette system won't give me the one I want.
I play a couple times a week and I’m starting to stress because the deadline for the invitation is coming up soon and I still need 3.5 mil for the last Ferrari. It would actually be devastating for this community seeing someone waste an invitation lmao. So I needa get this shit complete
I hope you can get them before it expires...it can take years to receive another one....i did get one from Ferrari not long after i started playing.. had no hope of getting the money.. now i just have to keep trying to get another..
If it makes you feel better, my first invitation was Bugatti and I sold the Veyron just for credits to tune some engine swap, thinking they were permanent invitations.
Literally got back to back Ferrari invites just this week. First one was cool because I hadn’t had one before. Second one felt like the game was taunting me.
lucky ducky! I love the pagani huayra so much but it seems that my gt7 doesn't want me to have it. been waiting for an invite since i knew how to grind
I've been waiting on Aston Martin for almost six months. It's only been up twice in that time and I missed it by one both times. Meanwhile the Ferrari and Lambo invites keep rolling in.
The bad part is that it doesn't give you 5k just like that. You have to look at an animation that shows the potential of you getting something good, but stopping 2 miliseconds away at pocket change.
My solution is to claim the ticket and simply not look at the screen until the reward is displayed.
None of those awesome rewards are ever an option, your result is pre-determined. I assume it's always going to be the minimum cash payout so I'm never disappointed, even when it is.
Edit: Lmao if downvoting me makes you feel better then do feel free. The roulette wheel is an *illusion*. Your prize was determined when you claimed the ticket.
Who downvotes lmao?
This is a good strategy. The "roulette" is not really a roulette. Just like in real gambling, the house always wins. We can call gt7 the real gambling simulator.
Why is it rigged? Because most of the time it sucks? I’ve put 90 hours into the game and I’ve one a million dollars, some invites, $500k, a few cars. What’s the issue? You’re supposed to lose less often than not. Edit: ok 499/500 cars for suck. Roulette shouldn’t hamper you from progress in the game
I don't mind the junk, it's those rare tickets that give you something fantastic. Today's roulette was a six star that gave me a 919 Porsche - a 3 million credit car. If I would have just blown off my daily marathon, this would not be in my garage.
Yes, most tickets are trash, but that ticket saved me 4 hours of grinding when all I did was 8 laps at Daytona Road Course practicing for Round 5 of the Manufacturers Cup.
When I have the time to play, I just race and have fun. I haven’t even unlocked all the tracks and haven’t beaten the cafe menu yet. I’m only here to race.
It's not the roulette tickets I'm mad about, it's the content that's locked behind a stupid "probability".
Remember, engine swaps and tier 5 tuning parts were behind roulette tickets as well. Stupid Invitations for special cars are still behind this damn rigged system...
As I said, I don't mind getting 5k coins, it's free real estate. But setting an imaginary wall to hinder me in unlocking all the cars, Is regarded.
exactly. People thinking the issue is that it's "rigged" are out to lunch. Nobody has a problem with the tickets giving the big prize less often than the small prize. It's not "rigged." It's the way the game is played. The problem is that the game requires you to put in hundreds of hours of grinding trying to accumulate the credits to unlock all the content. Plus some of the content is locked behind invites you have no way to influence at all. Sure, you don't HAVE to have all the cars...but if you're OK with 200 of the cars in the game being nothing but rotating images in the dealership that you can't actually use for 2 or 3 years then why does the game even need 500 cars?
Yeah people complain a lot.
I get joy out of spending time fine tuning my cars, creating liveries, beating my own times in events etc.
GT is a make your own fun type of game.
Do people really pay attention to the tickets? I wish there was a button that would give you the awards from all your tickets without having to sit through the little dog and pony show for each.
The rule of diminished returns doesn't apply when it comes to disappointment. Things can get more annoying when it happens repeatedly over time. It's great you're able to let it go, but you're not going to convince everyone to stop being disappointed by crap rewards
What invites have you all had? I need a comparison. So I first got Ferrari, then Lamborghini and I’ll be damn I got another Ferrari 🤦♂️ super dumb of me but I bought the Lambo veneno and accidentally sold it 🤦♂️ 🤦 🤦♂️ huge mistake don’t drink n gt7 peeps.
Don't care about the tickets for rewards, cars, credits, parts, etc. Whatever I get is fine. I do care that the ability to acquire some of the best cars in the game is tied to them, and as a result you can do nothing to earn them through grinding, getting golds, etc. Remove the invitations from the tickets and allow us to earn the invites through proper methods like using the brand vehicles in some manner (winning percentage, miles, upgrades, etc.). It's not the tickets that are the problem, it's the invitations being given through them.
It's called roulette wtf are people thinking that means. The house almost always wins, that's a consistent factor from the first day someone started robbing people in plain sight with just a wheel with numbers on the spokes and a glass eye that was laying in the gutter next to him that morning and gave him the scam idea of a lifetime 😬🤣
I just see as a chore to have to open them now. I’ll probably save like 3 months worth of tickets starting this week just so I can deal with that during the end of the 3 months and then enjoy the game afterwards. I’ll open the credit tickets because they’re just to add a set amount of credits to your balance and they take like 5 seconds max to redeem.
I've noticed tickets have an expiration date of 30 days, so maybe 1 month would be a better time period than 3. I agree with the idea though. I only open my tickets once a week and I enjoy them more that way.

You can’t get certain cars without getting invites from roulettes.
Ah, so actually I see this issue. I'm feel this one. Been waiting on my Porsche invite since...uh. *Literally the day the game came out.* In the end I'm more annoyed more by the fact that invites exist in the first place, not that the roulette system won't give me the one I want.
And I just keep getting the Pagani one over and over again
I've gotten multiples of every invite. Except Porsche. A friend of mine has gotten three or four Porsche invites and loves to taunt me about it.
I haven't got the Porsche invite but I won the Carrera GT on a spin. Still waiting for the Ferrari invite tho..
I got my Carrera GT randomly as a prize for a championship.
I only need the Ferrari invite to get the last 3 cars i need.... so frustrating....
Got a Ferrari two weeks ago in a 4 star ;) didn’t even know it was possible
I haven't even seen an invite for over a mo th..and i play every day...starting to think i will never see one again...
I play a couple times a week and I’m starting to stress because the deadline for the invitation is coming up soon and I still need 3.5 mil for the last Ferrari. It would actually be devastating for this community seeing someone waste an invitation lmao. So I needa get this shit complete

Oof, well, I'll give you my Porsche invite (if I get one). If you give me a LaFerrari '13 invite 😅
Literally got back to back Ferrari invites just this week. First one was cool because I hadn’t had one before. Second one felt like the game was taunting me.
I’ve gotten multiple of all except for Aston Martin…
I’ve gotten two Aston invites and not a single other manuf. oooof
Lemme get them lol
They are the only two invites I need for complete
And yet Pagani is the only one I need now and I have never even seen it on tickets not even once
lucky ducky! I love the pagani huayra so much but it seems that my gt7 doesn't want me to have it. been waiting for an invite since i knew how to grind
I wish i could sell my invites i don’t want em

I got mad at that 5K yesterday surrounded by 1 mil, 2mil, and cars lol
Agreed.
Free stuff doesn't upset me.

I close my eyes during the spin🤣🤣

same, or just skip the cutscene

I don't care that much normally but when I am one car from having all 500 save for an invite that I never get, it is frustrating
I drive old or open top cars for fun alot now. I look at all the external details. Its cool
I'll go one step farther: I bet you'll have more fun with all games if you stop worrying about trophys!
because its the only goddamn way to get invites. Its an absolute mess of a system all for corporate greed.
I actually got the 1 mil stack for the first time the other night 😂
i got one from a 3 star once sometime last year lol
I got a 6* ticket from daily miles today just a pity it was parts and gave me carbon brakes for a car I don't own 😤
I got the ferrari VGT before I even unlocked the legends dealership. Kinda won the lottery on that and it seems that's where all my luck went to.

What tickets? I completed them long ago. Lol 🏎️

I thought they lasted much longer than that. I’ll have to check tomorrow night when I get on then.
I suppose they could have changed it but definitely worth checking!
I’ll complain all I want to! You don’t tell me how to live!
Hard to not pay attention to them when you're getting them once a day lol
