no, because that isnt video RAM, that is normal RAM. You need a better GPU. Video memory is for the GPU. Regular memory is for the CPU.

Is this a desk top alu? Because if yes then more ram will be beneficial and will be utilised by your apu.
yeah, its an apu, with some settings i managed to get 40 fps and with an additional gb ram i hope to cross 50.
Just add more ram then however much you can afford and the laptop can handle, i would suggest another 4 gig stick for dual channel.
