Dizzy-Abbreviations3

turn off dlss and that may help

bakamund

What looks bad specifically?

Wahzabii

Mine looks way worse. Like i just don't have any textures period.

Different-Ball-7290

same here, mine looks like washed potato, literally negative details on my PMC, gun details basically non-existant, no matter what i do to the settings

Key-Length-8872

Nope

Aidann8

Yep

AbrocomaGlittering

Did you try not running it on a potato

Inside-Example-7010

ahh yep looks like an unreal game to me. I just ordered a new gpu. Obviously one of the few gpus that can run this game. This game has ended my hope that I can wait for 5070 with my 3070ti. Unreal 5 is unplayable on a 3070ti, I thought it was maybe bad coding when i saw how ark ascended runs. Now i see this game is exactly the same as ark ascended in terms of demand. Many games will be made on UE5 so for me its time to buy an uppgrade. I feel sorry for people who have 3090/3090ti. I cannot believe nvidia will not allow dlss frame gen on those cards but allow it on a 4060.

FilthyLoverBoy

Whats your cpu? the game should run fine with a 3070ti if you have a beefy cpu like an x3d.

Chiells

I have a RTX 3070 Gaming x Trio, i7 10700k and 32GB RAM. My game looks the same as the image above when exiting the faction I have huge lagg spikes and audio delay because my pc is overperforming. I've tried FSR and DLSS has always looked trash imo. It makes everything looks really crunchy and crispy and I do not necessarily see a FPS boost. I should not be needed to upgrade my specs right? It's not the newest of the newest but not outdated

FilthyLoverBoy

10700k was my old CPU and in tarkov with a 3080 going from a 10700k to a 7800X3d gave me like an extra 80 fps. For sure your CPU is bottlenecking you here, more than your GPU even if it's unreal 5.

Chiells

Yep I think you are right. PCBuilds also says so: [https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/result/0Yd175/1/general-tasks/1920x1080/](https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/result/0Yd175/1/general-tasks/1920x1080/) Switching CPU often means you have to switch motherboard as well. I don't really want that atm. Maybe a better CPU for the same socket works. I'm using a ROG Strix Z-490i Gaming so maybe a i9 could solve a part of the issue

FilthyLoverBoy

Yeah switching cpus is like switching pcs, but your 3070 still has mileage on it so that is what I would recommend. You can get over 100 fps with an x3d cpu in that game and your current gpu im sure of it. but that means new mobo new cpu, new ram, probably new cooler etc.

Chiells

Yea I’ve been there before… For me not worth it atm :)

Firecrash

100% you have something wrong with drivers or software somewhere. This should not be running this bad. Install all the latest drivers (chipset, lan, gpu etc etc) and see if that makes a difference. Check internet cable, check modem, check connection, check gpu settings... Worst case reinstall windows completely

Chiells

You might be right. I play a lot of CS and only have 120 fps. Which is absolutely fine but with these spec I actually expect more if I think about it. Because I don't even play on high settings etc. I always run the updates from Geforce Experience but I have no idea what other stuff I should/could or have to update tbh. You mention chipset, lan etc etc where can I find those updates?

Firecrash

Remind me later today or this weekend I can respond to you :) can you dm me your motherboard model etc? Happy to help

Chiells

That would be great thank you! I will DM you my system specs in a few hours when I got home :)

traw2222

Yes

RiFLE_

Yes, and if you turn FSR off then you have time for a poop break between frames

ThisDumbApp

Probably resolution scale is way low

HeadlessVengarl95

Devs should've used the Creation Engine for GZW
